  • hey sorry to everyone I did not respond to....a system reformat fixed it, wish I didn't have to do that but it worked.

    Mahalo!

  • mines doing this too and startup repair can't help me either, going to try a recovery disc

  • @ICryOverSpiltMilk mines doing the same thing im so mad!

  • I am still having computer restart problems even after I bought a new power supply three weeks ago. The computer keeps restarting for no real reason.

  • dont say if you dont know omg.i had same problem and i brought new ram,hd,procesor...all axcept power source.and when i placed in ms power source everhything worked so go buy ms power source

  • Buy new hard drive

  • there`s problem with mup.dll of ur Windows, so try by replacing that file, unless reinstall Windows, sorry, no idea bro:D

  • The problem is because your driver and/or video card has overheated. Give it a few hours to cool off. If you feel your computer and it's not hot, its probably because it was overused. Again, give it a few hours.

  • Ok here's my story.. My computer is a vista I had for about 2 years now... When I turn it on it goes to the monitor screen then freezes. I restart the dam thing, it pops up with a little white line flashing. 5 seconds go by then it goes to a start up menu (safe mode) then it's starting up..... Then it randomly restarts most of the time. Whenever I'm lucky enough to get to my home screen it restarts or crashes... Help....Please

  • try replacing the power supply the same thing happened to me I replaced the powersupply and it worked

  • reinstall windows xp and choose full formart

  • I also got that prblm. Reinstalling Window would fix that, its a virus if its not even logging with 'Safe Mode'

  • My PC Was In Horror, While I Was In A Middle Of Something, My Computer Shut Down Staright. Then I Turned It Back On, And When It Finished Loading, It Was About To Start, But Then It Came...........THE BLUE SCREEN OF DEATH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Got the same problem on my Windows 7 and tried to use Startup repair found in Windows Vista and 7, startup repair didn't help me. Then I reinstalled Windows (I am typing now this in the new Windows which I installed). I don't know what's the cause.

  • @xpressLOLzilla - smash it,

  • This has happened to me bit I can't even enter safe mode. What do I do?

  • I got the same problem it just keeps restarting non stop i can enter safe mode and I know what it is its this virus that hooks up to ur pc and disaibles its security im running a full scan to wipe it off.

  • Run task manager, go to processes and turn it off. Or disable your anti virus.

Now this video is two years old, you never got it fixed yet?

  • It might be a virus that causes an automatic restart. Idk about this stuff.

  • its a virus, same happended to me

  • @SweetMafiaVG how do i delete the virus?

  • @MrIndonesia1945 If it is possible, run in safe mode. From there restore your system to a week ago and then do a scan with antimaleware bytes... Or how ever it is spelt.

  • @SweetMafiaVG when i restore it it keep saying turn off the antivirus how do i do that? :(

  • @SweetMafiaVG on my pc, is not possible to run safe mode. What else should I do?

  • Yep. it has got to be the ram. make sure that ur hard drive is set to "master" and not "slave". if you have 2 hard drives, make sure that the one with the OS is the master and the other one is slave. also check to see if your capacitors are clean. And your ram, make sure that they are the same type and that your not just mixing different types of ram. This was what I did to fix my computer.

  • u overheated your video processor. nvidias are famous for this.

  • Windows gave a short error screen, probably some system files are damanged or deleted by a virus or by yourself. The only way to fix rëinstall Windows with a recovery or normal installation disc. When you can plug your HDD in another PC try to back-up as many if possible

  • same

  • i think u have to change ur hardisk!!!

  • theres a name for each one like files called DLL. if u delete any of this file or u disable it on msconfig your computer starts to restart and then you will have to run your computer on self mode hehehe its a exprience

  • Can anyone help

  • So did you ever figure out for sure what it was? I have the same problem, and I can't go into safe mode cause it won't let me use my keyboard at that particular time. And it don't even make it to the desktop to o anything from there. I didn't use this computer for about a year, hooked it up the other day cause I got a wireless adapter and seen something on my desktop that has never been there before called "steam" and so I deleted it out of my add/remove programs thinking it was something.....

  • @Kevinessence1 Yes the problem is your hard drive. I have an ASUS x83v 250gigabyte hard drive and it did that same thing. And BTW steam is a game client. If you had games installed on there it could of over-worked your hard drive and fried it. :(

  • mm the first thing that comes intro my mind is overheating ?

    so dust is your problem

  • Lmao, AS I WAS WATCHING THIS my computer turned off... I usually get about 30 minuted then it turns off, and after that (Unless I stay up very late) It doesn't turn off till the next time im on

  • I just had this SAME EXACT PROBLEM. this is how I fixed it. I use the "Windows Ultimate Boot CD" to boot. this will allow the hardware components to run from the cd as it would with a harddrive with drivers. you can also use "BartPE" to do this. when u get in. do a start, run and type "CMD". when the command lind comes up type "CHKDSK C: /F". make sure that your hard drive is mapped as C:(go to my computer) if not, replace C: with the right letter. when it's done reboot and see, good luck :D

  • Al you need to do is have the xp cd and DON"T FORMAT your hard drive choose repair, but not the recovery console. My cousin has done this in my laptop several times.

  • You have to open your computer and find your memory ram take them out and put only one at the time in the last slot turn you computer on and have it turn on for 20 seconds then turn it off hold the button to turn it off and then take it out and do the same withe rest and later plug all of them in and turn your computer on that should work because you got a virus in your memory ram and when you do that thing what i told you to computer gone delete the virus trust me i did it lots of time :):):):)

  • @Drago6330 first of all you know nothing about computers. 2nt.. ram means: random access memory ....so when you turn of the systems power supply every thing in the ram is gone no mater what it is.... its GONE ... he just has a hard wear problem or a windows file is corrupted

  • @bongeholeboy I am after 6 years of University and i don't know any thing about computers thats funny. I have my own company and i fixed that problem in lots of different ways and that is the easy way to fixed and i know that everything is gone but trust me not that virus which is there.

  • @Drago6330 ei m8!i nid ur help....

my computer keeps on restarting or rebooting.... i cant even put it on safe mode.... what should i do???? my memory ram is only 1... do i have to remove it for 20 secs just like what you have said????then return it again...will that work ???

  • @028romano Yes if that does not work you have to clean everything of your computer and format it

  • motherboard issues, bad capacitors,chipset,overheating..........you have to check your motherboard.......hardware...and then software.....do not forget the bios......

  • my keyboard doesnt work ,

(and im sure its not the keyboards problem ,Sure.)

so i cant choose safe mode, what should i do T T

  • FUCKING SAME PROBLEM dono wad to do now

  • go to a friends house, bring a BLANK dvd,

use his comp, find a copy of windows on the internet that your computer can support, burn it on the dvd, go to your comp put it in the dvd drive and reinstall windows (i have a illegal copy of windows vister) hehehe vister

  • Lol, I feel sorry for you.

    You're not alone.

I have the exact same problem.

The only solution to fixing this is to reformat your hard drive by installing a fresh copy of windows.

Trust me (I'm typing from the PC that actually has the problem but it's fixed now)

There were many steps in to making your PC functional again, the most important step is getting the discs first!

  • @terrysan does it delete all ur files and shit
