He's got Wallace's tone of voice down and general manner of speaking down, it's just too deep. If he could just heighten it a couple of octaves, he'd have it down perfectly. It sounds like somebody lowered it in Audacity or something.

Actually, the actor behind the original voice of Wallace is only available for the big movies.

This voice is the same used for the Wallace and Gromit Grand Adventures, the game made by TellTales Games and Aardman. (It's the explanation gived by the game studio about the voice used)

So I can understand your deception (i feel the same in a first time) but in facts, it's not so bad.

It's a good impersonation, but this just shows you just how good a voice actor Peter Sallis is, and how much of Wallace's personality comes directly from him.

I understand that the actor that voiced this will be providing Wallace's voice in the new W&G game (Telltale games, if you are interested.)
