Poco tempo fa sono andato a Pura, vicino a Lugano, a fare una visita alla tomba di Michelangeli. Francescana. Come tutto passa, e quanto tutto sia effimero, pure la gloria, la fama ecc . Ma la memoria e l'amore rimangono; è questa l' immortalità? Mah.

Ah.... dimenticavo : amo immensamente Schumannn (e 50 altri....). E nell'ascoltare la musica dei nostri Dei dobbiamo senpre ricordare l'incolmabile l'abisso che separa l'interprete dal creatore... adesso non rompo più

Non rompi mai! Invece noi innamorati della musica classica e di questo immenso pianista non dobbiamo assolutamente mai dimenticarlo anzi far in modo che le giovani generazioni si appassionino e portino avanti la tradizione italiana!

riprendo il discorso in italiano : a 8.08" gli accordi (nella versione Abm Sherken ) realizzano un incredibile e bellissimo effetto sonoro simile a campane e relativo eco..... mai sentito una cosa simile.. magari mi faccio prendere dall'netusiasmo e dal mio amore, sconfinato, per Michelangeli. scusate...

Abm + Sherken have performed one of best performance fo this cocerto. Please hear at the 4 mov when ABM release a piano sound like bells (absolutely fantastic spound ) repeated n, 2 times .. Sorry but i'm not a musician and do not able to properly explain it...

No,this is not. This was recorded in Vatican 28 april '62 with Gavazzeni and Symphony Orchestra of the RAI,Rome.

Thanks for your reply; this performance is exciting! Michelangeli is among my top dozen all-time favorite pianists, a list that also includes Moriz Rosenthal, Dinu Lipatti, William Kapell, Sviatoslav Richter, Artur Schnabel, Van Cliburn, Glenn Gould, Josef and Rosina Lhevinne, Walter Gieseking, and Vladimir Horowitz. I realize that all of them were vastly different, but variety is the spice!

@paulostroff99 Excuse me, did you read my opening comment? "Michelangeli is among my top dozen all-time favorite pianists." ??? I was listing my all-time favorite dozen pianists who most often move me as a listener. While I often find Rachmaninov and Hoffman viscerally exciting, even thrilling, they do not move me as much as the dozen I named, some of whom have brought me to tears with the beauty of their emotions as revealed though their playing. Chacun a son gout!

acalma a alma e vejo cores.....multicor! Notas que tem formas de vida! Posso senti-las percorrendo em mim, enquanto as ouços, fazem-me cócegas, dão-me intenso prazer e ainda têm cores, cada uma com a sua cor específica...infinitamente particular, que apesar de sentir tanto, não sei como descrever!Por hora posso dizer q é extremamente fascinante!
