  • @john146only Well whenever you muster up the energy to tell me what the Bible says about why youth pastors shouldn't "hurt" each other I'm all ears.

  • @john146only Yeah because obviously if they are doing this video for youth workers it must mean they don't teach Bible lessons.

  • I think you guys are forgetting that this video was used at a Youth Workers conference. Not in their youth meeting. I'm not sure why all the hate on it. I thought it was clever and funny. But then again I'm not judgemental know it all

  • I agree, I wouldn't want my kids involved in a ministry where kids are getting saved, having fun in an environment they want to share w/ their friends, They should get some of that "old-time" religion in a youth group of about 25 with recorded music, old couches, and throw-away equipment like the good ol days. They should be protected from the world they live in and are supposed to be salt in. They shouldn't ever have fun because Christianity is serious business. It worked for my Gran' Pappy

  • @Lyonsfamilyfive you are very ignorant. TEENAGERS WILL END UP REBELLIOUS IF YOU DO NOT LET THEM HAVE FUN!!! It is okay to have fun as long as you are in a Christian environment. there is no reason to keep kids from having fun in Christianity. If you don't, they will most likely turn away from God because they have no interest in doing something that they find no appeal to.

  • sounds like you're just jealous of a youth ministry that is healthy and growing and truly developing relationships with the students.

  • ok, they are having fun. they teach us so many valuable things about life and we have fun at the same time. dont judge people if you dont know them, it is unChrist-like and they are all uniqe and great role models for kids

  • The discipling of our youth is NOT the job of the church....it's the job of parents. It's only through true discipleship of youth by their parents can we defeat this trend of "relevant" youth leaders who lead our children nowhere.

"These words, which I am commanding you today, shall be on your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your sons and shall talk of them when you sit in your house and when you walk by the way and when you lie down and when you rise up." - Deuteronomy 6:6-7

  • It seems so harsh to judge a ministry when you don't see the time and love these men put into "youth ministry." There is a reason why thousands of kids come to Saddleback Church and continue to keep coming and that is because of God's presence in the church and the amazing youth leaders He has placed here.

Please don't judge this ministry. It saddens me to see other believers judge when God's work is being done within this ministry.

  • Nice one goat-hearders!

  • Ouch!

  • God save us from "youth ministry." Parents with any sense will keep their kids as far from these idiots as possible. Idiocy is catching.

  • This is great! I'm trying to figure out if I have the guts to make announcement videos like this. It's highly effective!
