I don't think the school should prevent her from being a PE educator but in no way is it appropriate for young women who are sexually mature to be required to shower and undress in the presence of someone who, although may control their behavior, cannot control their thoughts/feeleings. I certainly wouldn't act upon them either but that doesn't make it ok for me to me in there.

Watching further, I'm seeing that it's just a lack of education and a surplus of religious intolerance. Ugandans evidently are still seeing homosexuality as the same thing as pedophilia, when in reality, the two are far from interchangeable. Fear is the number one cause of hatred, as is the case here. Although I believe sexual orientation should have no effect on a persons rights, I personally find homosexuality disgusting. Regardless of how I might justify such an opinion, I am not extended the type of tolerance the gay community so desires for themselves. If you want me to be tolerant of your lifestyle - so be it. In fact studies have proven, again and again, that most pedophiles are heterosexual. There is an 11 to 1 ratio of hetero to homosexual child molesters. 11 to 1.
