@adamlsc Who knows? I agree she is insanely good, but seriously, listen and look. I just honestly don't think it's possible to jump around and run while singing and not even get breathy. Look at 1:08. Actuallly, look at the entire thing. I love Lea Michele, she is an amazing singer, so freaking talented, but you can't run, jump, and sing while your voice being continually perfect. That's just my opinion, and it's just yours that it's live. The world may never know the truth :)

@SomewhereWeKnow7 Lea used to jump around and sing while in Spring Awakening. Check out the reprise of "Mama Who Bore Me (Reprise)." She has to hit notes higher than these in that and does it while running around doing full choreography. You can also compare audio of this and the recorded version if you don't believe it's live. P.S. Amber Riley's riffs are ALWAYS different. I don't think they would let Lea mime while Amber has to sing. Just my two cents...

@q8wrestlingkids Katy Perry can sing, it's true. She has a pretty good voice but if you were to compare quality and the actual tone of the voice, Lea Michele's would probably be considered better. Her voice is much more stable and she's not pitchy at all. Katy Perry is great but she has trouble with control, hitting the right notes and she's breathy at times.

This is NOT live. Look for videos of the same performance in Las Vegas, Chicago, Sacramento and every other performance - they all sound EXACTLY the same. It was prerecorded before the tour to sound different from the album version. There's no way in hell she could jump and still belt. That's why after May 28th she stopped performing Don't Rain on my Parade every night, which she sang live, because it was "too difficult". Firework is not an easier song, yet she still sang it - but she lipsynced.

@princessunshine as a sound engineer, I can assure you thats live. I can hear the feedback when she has it closer to her mouth than the gain is set for. Thats not her fault, just should've been picked up in soundcheck. She's awesome. I bet the sound crew haven't had to alter her mic a bit! And yeah, if you come from a theatre/broadway background you have to be able to sing and move/dance!
