  • what a genius, he should be running our shit hole of a country, fuck all those parasites in goverment out, at least those crustie greens are gone for now, people should remember the billions he generates by tourism for ireland when moaning about ryan air, there still half the price of aer lingus, got 3 adult tickets return for stanstead for 90 euro for the 3 in 2010, how the hell can you beat that, if it wasnt for oleary it might still be costing a weeks wages like it used to in the 1980s

  • the euro will go tits up along with o leary

  • I have travelled from Sweden to London with trains and ferry only.

  • haha, what´s the next. an additional charge for toilet paper ??

  • Crimen Sollicitationis

  • Google ryanairdontcare to see what he does.

  • "if he could he would make you pay a pound to go to the tiolet on one of his planes. Our nations hero. Long live Michael" ...

I would pay 100 pounds just to piss right in his face... is that possible...?

  • "low fares is what matter more than anything..." well, then that guy should be killed in a plane crash... on one of his low fare/no save planes..

  • Why dd ryanair and easyjet refuse jaktogo to advertize in the in their on board magazine are they afraid the will lose extra money on extra weight at the check in /gate ‘’ wizzair had no problem’’

  • Are you sure when he says gutless he isn't talking about the US government as well????

  • @CubsFanJohn No, he's referring to our Green Party coalition Government in Ireland. Basically, they imposed a EUR 10.00 levy on flights in and out of this country. The Green Party is very unpopular here because they are bringing us back to the stone-age. They are the most hated Party here.

  • @CubsFanJohn It doesn't matter who he's talking about, he's keeping fares low. That's what matters more than anything.

  • Was`nt he just born for the expression -"Takin the Mick!

  • Very good

    Micheal,your are my hero

  • I don't care what party he is with, they should be no party's,only business men running the show, let men like Michael run the country, aleast they won't sell of oil and gas rights to English companys like so called Irish men of all party's of yesteryears so their kids could have jobs on company boards. And privitising is the way to better roads better health care,i don't mind paying more tax as long as its not flushed down the jacks by the Dail "and they laughing at us" guy fawkes had a good plan.

  • It's no surprise that the Irish love this guy. As for everyone else...

  • The onmly fans of O'Leary are the Irish. No surprise there then

  • This man is what irish politics has been lacking for decades.. He is one of the only irish public figures who doesn't sit on the fence. Not one politician can stand up and make gutsy decisions. The ministers havent even got experience in the area they're meant to be the the specialists.. This man is a genius. RIGHT WING FOR LIFE

  • Legend. Tell it like it is.

  • How much cash, or should that be ash did you make today then Michael?.

All that money you're paying out to staff to sit around doing nothing.

Losing Millions of pounds a day.

How much did you earn today, Sunday 18th April 2010.

    Minus £1,000,000, minus £1,500,000, £2,000,000 even?.

    .

Tell us Michael about your profits since Wednesday 14th April 2010.

Worrying himself sick over which way the wind will blow for the next 6 months at least. All that worry Michael, is it worth it.

  • michael O'Leary is one of the best businessmen in the country , he's not afraid to tell it like it is like the rest of the fucking pansy's ..

  • Shame: good staff and airline..... Look at the owner! :(

  • This guy is a prick!

  • Legend. Complete legend!

  • Michael O'Leary is a legend. Let's see an of you haters set up a business worth billions of euro........................ Exactly.

  • He's quite the charismatic leader. I wonder if he's gonna charge for the gas masks on his flights to Auschwitz.

  • Is he talking about Ireland or the US Government? Because if he is talking about the US Government especially the gutless part that is so true......

  • O'Leary hasn't an idea about anything other than publicity and making money. He called for a recession in 2007 because he said oil prices would drop (wrong) interest rates would rise (wrong again) and that a year or 2 of recession would be good as it would eliminate competition (wrong again). Look past the pantomine character that he is and you'll see that he'sonly being indulged by Ryanair sharholders so long as he makes a profit.

  • and making a profit he is. It's cannot be doubted that O'Leary has been a success story. Regardless of which mechanisms he uses to gain success, he is doing very well in this economic climate. However it is the niche he is operating in. Basically, your point is null.

  • this man should be running our country not them wankers in the dail and seanad....

  • If it wasn't for Michael we would be still out in Dun laoghaire getting on boats, puking over the side and then have to suffer 5 hours of British 'Fucking' Rail!!

    Thanks Mick!

  • you have no basis for an argument! Oleary is a character. He is enthusiastic and passionate about business, and IT WORKS. Ryanair are the biggest airline in Europe. Perhaps if you understood business personality, you wouldn't seem so ignorant.

  • if lisbon gets ratified we might as well be back living under the old commonwealth, we will practically be an occupied country with no ability to self govern and to do what best for it own people rather than for those in other parts of the world in this case brussels not london

  • I cant stand this " Article" he claims he is a low fare airline???

He brings the price of the flight down, then charges you more for luggage, food, checking in etc etc ???

He is only insulting " Peoples Intelligence"

You would want to be a " Pesant " to consider even flying with him.

Imagine selling "lottery tickets" on board an aircraft. LOL

  • if you want to bring a bag or eat fuck off and fly with someone els and stop moaning on the internet. do you think your royalty that must be patronized by ripoff airlines!!!

    get a grip.

  • What point are you trying to make?

Your " Grammar" is very difficult to follow

    ( bringabagoreat) one word??? LOL

  • If you want to bring a bag or eat while travelling on a plane, fuck off and fly with someone els and stop moaning on the internet. Do you think you are royalty that must be patronized by rip-off airlines!!!

    Get a grip.

    In short stop whining

Your pompous attitude is not very becoming.

But if thats what how you make yourself feel happyenjoy

  • We all have a love/hate relationship with ryanair granted, we'll all take adavantage of there cheap fars but its a guilty pleasure really because it comes at a cost, o'leary's planes are flying in 100's desperate eastern euorpeans to take your job from the remotest economically deprived parts of europe, eastern europeans also think ryanair is a bargin specially if it gets em jobs..o'leary's really a right to be a cocky cunt because he has us all by the short and curlies

  • Your argument has some weight. But I remember getting a flight to see my sick uncle (1980s) before ryanair got big and our own state ripped us off. I dont really think you can blame the airline for giving us cheep fairs as it is law for people to travel through out the E.U. so if they couldnt get a flight they might just be trafficked is some underworld manner, and get here some way Despite all this I find your comments unjust as thousands of Irish are happy to take jobs around the world.

  • I admit using ryanair myself and to a degree I don't really blame the airline itself because if was'nt them it'd be someone else. Capitalism wants the world to become a smaller place with easier travel and thus larger polls of labour in countries that need it, o'leary is probably the most powerful person in europe at present given his power of influence over governments and individuals, but its not necessarily better for the ordinary joe soap in the long run

  • I think Michael O leary is brilliant, and if you don't like ryanair don't fly with them.

  • He's a bollocks but he has saved me a lot of money.

No one puts a gun to your head and says, "fly ryanair or else"

  • Well, David, that may be sound advice. I actually got all the way to almost booking a flight tonight with these villains but could not stomach being overcharged four times over for the credit card. That is simply DISHONEST. If that is OK with you, what can I say?

  • I have to laugh at people here giving out about mick O'leary, its very simple, If you don't like it don't fly Ryanair. pay the extra 150 pounds and fly with British Airways, So wise up and don't be such begrudging little children.

  • As much of a wanker O'Leary is, that last bit about "If they wont let us charge you to enter the toilets, we'll charge you to exit the toilet" was too funny.

  • greedy bastard shove the money up his Arse

  • yeah! he's such a corporate bastard that he helps people check in and checks tickets at gates

  • like him or not,.. he has saved me a few grand over the last few yrs with Milan Bergamo route!! Forza Inter!!

  • Of course he's only interested in money, he can lecture about how bad our government is, yet he's flying hundreds of pols in to take our jobs which government are overseeing, but when it comes to impinging on his pocket it takes on extra importances to have and wine about the shower of cunts in the dail. Scurrilous capitalist wanker!!

  • Ireland had a labor shortage, if it wasn't for the Poles and other immigrants the recession would have started much sooner and hit us much harder. It was mostly the banks that caused Ireland to be hit so hard. Immigrants kept a lot of companies afloat and a lot of people in jobs.

Now lots of Irish people are emigrating again, do you want them to receive the same racist treatment as people received here? Because we're doing the same thing, going where there is work to try and feed our families.

  • recession is going to last even longer now with poland giving better tax breaks for corporations, so it looks like the pols are sucking diesel, maybe you might find yourself havin to move to poland for work, less wages and all, interesting to see there attitude towards you moving on on there turf

  • That's what's called competition and Ireland were doing it for years, with no tax at all for some companies in the first 10 years they stayed here.

Actually I live and work abroad (as many Irish people do) in the Czech Republic and everyone has been nothing but nice and friendly to me.

The languages are similar and I even understand a bit of Polish now.

Maybe if you worked on bettering yourself instead of complaining about other people you'd have a better time.

  • Actually Irelands FDI is all primarily US based and we're the only English speaking high knowledge economy in the EU with anything like this kind of low corporate tax rate.....Ireland will always be the most attractive European base for foreign investors, its a natural competitive advantage. so you're wrong....wrong wrong wrong

  • we're the cheap equivalent of the uk economy, what other english speaking nations are there, besides with all the pols learming english here its goin to prove useful back home when the us corporations setup on there land, english speaking is not necessarily an advantage considerin the rest of the world goin to be able to speak it before long..

  • OH MY GOD! A RED COMMY ! HOLY SHIT

  • Any chance of a full lenth video?

    Thanks for posing

  • he has a good point

  • not looking good check bud

  • he should be our taoiseach, then we will have a decent goverment.

  • "well charge you to exit the toilet" lol classic

  • The best part is missing from this. The full bit about Cuffe travelling to Brussels. Do you have that?

  • Does anyone know where i can get the interview where michael o leary talks about john gormley and the green party. I never laughed so much.!!!!!!!!!

  • Jaaz no that fecker will charge ya to vote!!

  • elect that bugger taoiseach!!!
