We are finally increasing the speed with which this country will become a complete police state. Soon the majority of our population will be in prisons for ridiculous trivial "offenses". It was unconstitutional for Edarem to go to prison for this. People need to start standing up to these violations. We CAN change it if we actually try. Do something about this. Write your elected officials. Tell them about the injustice of what's going on in this country. It's the only way to change things.

If they don't criminalise someone who may have hurt a child in the past, the over-hyped uneducated media-whores will say that there is a murdering paedophile in their midst and will want something done about it. Insight into Florida Law: The state of FL is broke. They want him to take a "bargain", so that he'll have to pay the court fees and all the police hours. I fought for 13 months because they arrested me for my baby's diaper rash (it was a food allergy), in the end they had to drop it because they did not have a case, but they screwed my life all to hell for 13 months! This all shows the stupid and vengeful nature of the court system. Edarem was convicted of his original crime, served his time and was released with stipulations. None of those stipulations mentioned the internet, because the world wide web hadn't even been created then. So, the courts are retroactively imposing new restrictions on someone who long ago paid his debt to society.

It's an outrageous law, a pointless law. Aren't laws meant to be helping people, and keep the society in check, well - how does making youtube videos amount to a crime? I fail to see how this is.

The other billion people weren't ordered by the courts not to do it.

Edarem had a prior conviction and the punishment included taking away his access to the internet. He was convicted of a non-violent sex crime, I think.

I don't think you read the other videos, when he was younger he commited a crime which stripped him of the right to upload videos to Youtube. Then they caught him, but they found nothing unlawful, everything he had n his computer was legal.
