Love this song. The only thing that would have made it better is if everyone sang, and nobody "performed" and it was all acapella like in the early church. (no instruments) Look it up.
One of the most inspiring hymns of all time. The tears stream down my face whenever I hear it. Spafford's story is a story of faith. I can't help but to think of how good God has been to me. How he took me, covered with the dirt from the sewers of this world and cleaned me up. It also reminds me of my failing at times to give that same grace and mercy to others.
This morning on Christian radio a woman and daughter told this story, the daughter decided to commit suicide and ran in front of the train and instead of killing her the train took her legs off ,she then turned to Jesus and now she tells her story ,her and her mother ,sad she didn't turn to Jesus first !
i've been listening to this beautiful rendition, of a wonderful inspiring song for a couple of days now. it is awesome. today i decided to read some comments. Hoover4000, why are you buying into the negativity?? ignore them, turn the other cheek. i really do not understand what was said, as i have only read a couple of pages, but, if someone has taken offence at something you've said that is their problem, let it go! why worry yourself over someone else's stupidity???
Once again, David Phelps BRINGS DOWN THE HOUSE!!! I love that man! He's the reason this 32 year old rock-n-roll loving-chick keeps coming back to Gospel! :)
Praise be to God. This song has been on my mind since my mom said all she wanted to do and felt like doing was sing. This song is comforting. Especially with whats going on currently not only in our personal life but in the world.
David Phelps gives me chills on this song. It is, by far, my favorite hymn. Actually going to sing it in a duet later this month. I hope I don't cry too much. I would like to be able to sing it in tune. lol
geez is not bad its just how you keep from saying Gods name in vain im shocked this even became an issue only God knows Hover4000's heart & no one has the right to judge are you on the throne? no Christ is i agree with girlmathnerd u handled it completely wrong & in all honesty though its a pointless atempt at an unecessary correction you should have privately messaged Hoover4000 im not bashing you dont take it that way just a firm correction God Bless
Thank you so much for posting these beautiful songs. In my lowest moments I can listen to them and cry in the arms of Jesus. Don't worry about opinions of mere words. We all have to remember "The power of life and death is in the tongue." What you give us here is much more than posting songs. You give us life by sharing your talent, your care and concern, and you give of your time, so that we can all bless God together. I, for one, appreciate what you do. God bless you.
wow- david phelps= i know the three tenors are incredible , but god gave David platinum vocal chords and made him a man after Godsown heart in song- David Phelps one of the best voices ever
@Hoover. I wont jump down your throat for thee whole "word" thing I will say I do agree them and I am sure you will take their comments under advisement. I have ran several forums, discussion boards etc and I understand the work you are doing. You are doing it well. Keep up the GREAT work and thank you for sharing with the rest of us of your time and love for God first and the GVB
The story of Horatio Spafford makes God look glorious. And He deserves so much praise. Thank you Lord that in the midst of Mr. Spafford's tragedy he understood that the things of this earth are a dim shadow compaired to knowing Christ, and that his praise of you were put to words to be shared with us.
dont let them get you down hoover. they are Wolf Christians, they lie in bushes and behind trees until they find something someone else does and they pounce on them. you have just witnessed wolf christianity coupled with bandwagon christianity.
I have heard this song over a hundred times and it fills me with the holy spirit every time............God bless Guy Penrod, God Bless David Phelps, God bless the Gaither Vocal Band - you have used your God Given Gifts to encourage His flock. You have made our walk through the valley in the Shadow of Death a walk in the Pastures Green. Praise to the Most High - May his return be soon - May his flock awaken to his majesty and grace. AMEN..........
the guy doing the leads in this song...I guess it's "David Phelps" is scooping a lot......he must had been trained in CCM instead of gospel. but I still love it and love gospel....love this song...it was my dad's favorite song. I think my grandma also loved it. :-)
I cant believe people who dislikes dis song.I wonder who thse 26pple are. Just lost a close family friend And sometimes I wonder y it happened but listening to this song each days gives me hope and Assurance.
Does anyone understand the scripture of Matt 7:1? Everyone takes it like you can't judge someone by their deeds! Sure, you shouldn't give up on them or condemn them, but you can be careful of them. By their deeds you shall know them.
The wisdom of the Scriptural instruction to use private, not public, reproof becomes clearer as I see the escalation of hurt here. I, too, have not always been mindful of how deeply wounding a well-meant admonition administered publicly, not privately, can be. Taking the extra moments to go to a person's Inbox to gently state a sensitive msg can make a positive difference in how it's received, & can curb my temptation to be a snotty show-off. I want to aid growth, not destroy someone's joy.
This is so stupid - is it any wonder why the world isn't flocking to Jesus when His church gets so hung up on such petty and legalistic things? GEEZ!!! Give me a break and enjoy the music and the anointing that is upon it.
I do believe the scriptural reference is, "Judge NOT lest ye also be judged ..." Matthew 7:1-6, kinda gets into that whole mote in the eye and casting your pearls before swine, kind of thing ...
Let's just praise the Lord - and let HIM deal with everything else!
I first heard this song at my mothers funeral in October 2008 sang by my 3 steps sisters that sing professionally My 14 year old daughter told me it was wonderful.Only 11short months later my step sisters would be singing this song again this time at my daughters funeral at age 15 The school bullying and teasing and a absentee mother that wanted nothing to do with her My Sweet Presious baby my only child Ended he own life.leaving my life shattered and alone.God How I miss her.
After reading a lot of the negative comments on here I am a little troubled that this sort of outbreak can happen over so little, on a video so anointed. If we all were to put half as much effort into reaching souls as we have fighting on youtube then maybe, just maybe 85,000 churches wouldn't have to close their doors for good annually. The world is dying and we are fighting on youtube.
We're all wrong for judging one another. I personally am sorry, but we need to grow up and save some people
Are we all 2 years old? Must we argue about whether or not a word is considered slang or not on a video of such a beautiful song saying "IT IS WELL WITH MY SOUL." If it is well with ours, we should be arguing, but praising God for making it well.
This is really distressing. I came on here listen to this beautiful video that Hoover 4000 put up for all of us to enjoy and then I started reading the comments. I am born again, raised Southern Baptist living in the northeast in a very diverse environment. This holier than thou attitude is the exact reason I don't want to move back to the bible belt. This is just ridiculous to have 20,000 comments, many negative, referring to the use of "geez" and "gosh".
Guy has crazy, mad skills... he really does!!!!!!! Regarding David, there is only one word that can attempt to describe him: PHENOM....thats wat i call him, THE PHENOM......
It is soooooooooo easy to become discouraged in this world, especially when you hear stories like that one. Why would God take all 5 of this man's children? And why would they have died so horribly. Death by fire and drowning are not easy and pain-free ways to die.
Thank you. Singing these words that are so strengthening and with overwhelming harmony, you did touch my faltering soul today.............and stopped the tears.........if only for a moment. God Bless each and every one of you.
FYI for those of you who are "discussing" the etymology of "geez" and/or "jeez". Like most of our exclamations in English, if you go back to it's origins, it is based on religious themes (incl. saints). A large majority of them have been so altered, now, that it's very hard to even see it. "Geez"" is one of the more obvious ones.
By George, Gadzooks, odsbodikins (by St. George, God's hooks, and God's body respectively). Darn, drat, gosh, golly, goodness gracious, gee whiz....there are hundreds.
Lifting hands is a sign of surrender to God, it is awesome, truly a beautiful thing, and you can tell that these people put their hearts and souls into this, @randymag833
David Phelps really...I love his voice. It suits the song very well. And I didnt know that the song has such tragic history behind it. It is amazing how people can stand strong and hold on their faith and prove that God will bring them through...amazing
The deal with people raising their hand towrd heaven is they are exhuberent in their worship of the Lord. A person would have to be half dead not to want to raise their hands and voices to the King of Kings in a song like that. Try it, some time, you may just like it...
@randymag833 Many times in the Bible, people raise their hands in worship, and so I think that's the immediate reason people do it today. I think of it as a way for me to thank God and show Him that I understand that everything I have is not of my own work, but His work. Almost as if to throw my hands up and say, "I didn't do it". I do think some folks have simply been conditioned to do it, which is why it comes off as showy, because its not genuine, which is unfortunate b/c God deserves more.
if we have music and performances like this now...just imagine how great it is going to be forever in heaven with possibly a 500 million voice choir (plus all the angels)
worship music like this throughout the world bears testimony to the truth of Christ and the worship of the Eternal Father Whom He glorified
This was a fabulous version..great job hoover4000...BUT do you all know'geez' is used in place of using the term "Jesus"? Keep up the great vidoes..but watch the slang! Try YIKES! GBU for yourfavgrams22..build a bridge and get over it..and follow the lyrics not the man..GBU
@daddysgirl1111100 thank you. but wow, i've never been scolded for saying "Geez" i've never heard of it being in place of Jesus it's not considered slang and besides that's not what I meant and God knows that. But like I said, thank you.
@hoover4000 Sorry, my friend..."G--z" is most definately dishonouring GOD's commandment not to take HIS name in vain...we realy must be mindful of our obedience to GOD...just like "gosh" is a slang version for GOD and that is taking HIS name in vain...the more we seek HIS face, the more we will have our eyes opened to "sin"...so keep seeking HIM my friend...read HIS word and know what HE requires to be obedient for HE says that if we love HIM, we will keep HIS commandments...Blessings to you <3
@hoover4000 I had heard as a child that "geez" was a replacement for Jesus and "gosh" for God, by a godly woman I highly respected. I don't use geez and gosh to substitute for anything. They are just expressions used for emphasis, without taking the name of the Lord my God in vain.
@Evangeline220 That is fabulous. God bless you for your conscientous use of language. But remember, your language preferences may not be that of your neighbor.
Hi hoover - I've enjoyed all of your videos and look out for any new ones. Thanks for all you do.
I must also add my bit re. the term 'geez' (and it even bothers me to write it). It certainly is, as 'daddysgirl' writes, an abbreviation used in place of 'Jesus' and any etymologic source would confirm that for you. Think about it - don't you use the word 'geez' in exactly the same place and in the same tone as another would use the Lords name or worse, some foul expression, as an expletive?
if everyone would stop jumping down my throat about the whole "G--Z" thing that would be great. I personally have never heard it was slang for "Jesus" and I wasnt even thinking that. God knows that. I meant like "gee golly wiz" kind of thing.
I have over 20,000 comments i'm trying to approve one by one right now and the last thing i need is everybody and their mother putting there two cents in on what i said wrong. THAT is why people have a bad opinion on Christians that isnt true.
@hoover4000 I agree with you, hoover 4000. I am absolutely sure every person who made a negative comment says something EVERY SINGLE DAY that would offend GOD. This is the reason I don't want to move back to the bible belt. Too many self righteous hippocrites!
@hoover4000 ... another example of a "teachable moment" ... with humility we can learn without having to stoop to being self-defensive. Such is an opportunity to offer a good example of Christ's total lack of self-defense.
@mnhzmazingrace i dont mean to be rude, i wish people would look at things from my point of view. It's easy as a casual observer to put your two cents in, but if you had to deal with the comments i deal with and work as hard as i work at this youtube thing you'd start to get self-defensive too. I have plenty of humility but I happened to notice the first person I responded too said "G--Z" as well. Did anybody slap their wrist for it? No just me. Why? Because i'm hoover4000. Yeah, that's fair.
@hoover4000 Hoover, thank you so much for your efforts. Your videos have brought a calmness and peace to me that was sorely needed. And I thank you. Bless you - Bless your heart for taking the time to do this. (((HugsofGratitude)))
@hoover4000 , I agree with you, I've never heard geez as slang. U are doing a great job putting all these videos on youtube. I have really enjoyed watching them and have been touched and lifted up by the songs. I have strayed from Christ and just hearing these songs and watching the videos have really made me think about the way I have been living life. Thank you for all the videos!! Keep it up, please.
@hoover4000 Hey 'hoover' thanks heaps for this. It's a great download and one of my all-time favorite hymns and David and Guy are my favorite male singers of Gaither Vocal Band. All the others are great though aren't they ? This looks a bit like Jerusalem - is it ? Anyway just wanted to say thanks and God bless you. Keep up the good work. And be assured that God does know your heart and he's the one who matters.
@hoover4000 I am definitely behind you on this hoover4000. I've never seen any bible verse that condemns words themselves just word intentions that are used for hurt or to slander. Not the word, the meaning. If people are going to get on to you for the context of it then they shouldn't say "darn" or "awe man" cuz you also substitute other words there. Taking the Lords name in vain is pretty darn bad, but i don't remember The Bible ever calling Him "geez". keep up your awesome work hoover4000.
@mnhzmazingrace typical. a dozen people bite her head off for ONE word (there are far worse four letter words, get the stick out of your rear would you?) she goes to defend herself and then gets lectured for that. People tend to get defensive when being verbally attacked. No wonder the world hate christians. I just hope people out there know that despite some of the morons on this page, not all christians are self-righteous pricks. Hoover we love you for your hard work. Ignore these jerks.
@mnhzmazingrace Maybe this was a "teachable moment," but you should have followed Matt. 18:15 and taken this to hoover4000 privately first, instead of embarrassing him/her on a public forum like this. I hope my reply has been a teachable moment for you, because these are the kinds of actions that make people hesitant to become Christians. There was a better and more Biblical way of going about it.
@mnhzmazingrace ...here is a "teachable moment" why tell your brother he has a splinter in his eye when you have a plank in your own? just another example of one christian trying to be "more christian" than another. We have no, none, zero right as christ's children to judge anyone else in anyway! Its just not "our job" Time to work on yourself and get your nose out of others business.
@hoover4000 Thank you for posting my favorite Hymn. I miss my grandmother and father very much. I know I will be with them again. God has been so good to me, I am a almost 9 year Cancer patient. I use it to bring him glory. Somebody ask me Bill why did you get Cancer at 42? I said why not, Jesus went to the cross for us and took the nails in his hands and feet. I have used this over the years go bring glory to him, God bless each of you
@hoover4000 Cheese & Crackers! So what are we supposed to say when we have to express the emotions that cause us to "curse?" Wouldn't "yikes" or "man" or "oh my", etc. mean the same thing when it comes right down to it? My personal expletive is "dang!" so I don't say "dammit" or something worse. Where do we draw the line? What is in your heart is what matters and what God sees.
@hoover4000 Hey Hoover - before I even got to this comment of yours I was going to comment to those folks that in my day, it meant gee whiz to us kids, and nothing else. Or maybe geez louise ... but never as slang for Jesus. Do they associate every slang for cursing, I wonder .. should we never say "gosh" or "darn" ?? Perhaps they should rethink their critical natures, instead of being critical of your attempts to bring these beautiful, thought-provoking & calming videos for us to enjoy.
@hoover4000 Well, that is very interesting but I am not from the area of the USA that uses gee whiz, instead of Jesus, to soften the blow for sensitive ears. Where I come from gee whiz, gee, golly, golly gee are simply slang expressions used in the same way cool is used as a slang expression, and when we mean Jesus, we say Jesus, and when we mean gee whiz...mostly used to indicate disappointment or an error, like if you dropped theh bowl of mashed potatoes on the floor.
@hoover4000 Jumping Jehosophats, Golly Gee and Gosh darn it! Seriously, does anyone really think your are a blasphemer? How many times do you have to say that you didn't know that "geez" was a derivative of Jesus? I think these words exist for just the opposite reason that the people judging you for seem to think. They are words used in order NOT to take the name of the Lord in vain. Jesus, I wish people would s top throwing stones at others and I really meant these words for Jesus. God Bless U
@hoover4000 right on hover 4000 if everyone would judging or getting all worked up over petty things and just enjoy the videos. People need to let you and other say what you please and be yourself.
@hoover4000 right on hover 4000 if everyone would quit judging or getting all worked up over petty things and just enjoy the videos. People need to let you and other say what you please and be yourself.
You are so right about the poor light that people put Christianity in by their hyper-critical dispositions on trivial things. Thank you so much for the time and effort you have taken in uploading so much soul lifting music!
@quadro95 It also stands for gee whiz. The English language is constantly changing and evolving and that word GEEZ...NO LONGER MEANS THAT...and I am soooooooooo SICK TO DEATH of pharasees that I can PUKE.
Gee whiz Hoover4000...thank you so much for all your hard work that allows me to be blessed on a daily basis. You rock girl! (ooh, does that mean you play rock and roll?????????????????)
@quadro95 No, we don't all use these expressions instead of using expletives....and why do you feel a need to police other people? And if it bothers you to write it, then don't. "If it's not in faith..." is it sin?
"To the pure all things are pure." And we don't have "curses" in this culture...only witches and Satanists and vood doo people use bona fide curses....
@hoover4000 MY ELDEST SON CORY TOLD ME THE SAME THING AND I SAID THE SAME THING, BUT AFTER THINKING ABOUT IT I HAVE TRIED TO BE AWARE OF WHAT I SAY. THERE ARE MANY THINGS THAT JUST COME OUT WITHOUT THINKING WHO AM I OFFENDING?
@hoover4000 Good answer Hoover. Used to express mild surprise, delight, dissatisfaction, or annoyance. I never heard about the slang for Jesus either but I googled it and there were several origins of the word and short for Jesus was just one of many. Regardless I have never used it in place of Jesus, ever and I use it often including in the Christian chats and no one ever called me on it. useful information, assuming too much. I am willing to bet
@hoover4000 GREAT ANSWER! God knows YOUR heart. Used to express mild surprise, delight, dissatisfaction, or annoyance, there are many origins of this harmless word. Short for Jesus is just one of many & was new to me also. I use it often including in Christian Chats & even the most staunch fundamentalist have never called me out for it. I like the word & I see nothing wrong with the word or how I use it & I trust neither does Jesus. It's so obvious you love the Lord as do I.
@hoover4000 I also want to add as a born again believer who strives to witness with love & compassion rather than condemnation I cannot help addressing ALL those who had any negitive comments: The world suffers greatly & hoover provides joy & light to us all & rather than rejoice this good work, all you can do is point your finger & whine about how offended you are by a simple slang word? How about I give you a new word to think about, EGOTISM. Here's another, ANAL. Geeze people!!!???
@daddysgirl1111100 - While some people might use 'geez' as a slang for 'Jesus', not everybody does. I say it as a shortened version of "Geez, Louise"...in the same way I say "Easy, peasy" So before you pass judgement, realize there's more than one interpretation of just about everything.
@daddysgirl1111100 Really? Who in their right mind did not know that Geez meant Gee Whiz. How about "For Pete's Sake" or "Aw Fiddlesticks". Are those terms going to condemn us t o Hell also. You people need to lighten up and get off your self-righteous wagon. It is not for you to judge or even point out to Hoover if he says something out context of what you may perceive as acceptable or Christian like.
i am laying here bed ridden with a herniated disk, possibly unable to continue as a firefighter, yet this song has reafirmed that i can recover and continue through gods grace and my determination............ and it is well with my soul!!!!! god bless you hoover for sharing this with us. TY
Nancy Espe He lost so much but he never lost the one who kept him through it all! God is truly awesome! He will keep us no matter what we go through, loosing four daughters all at once and being able to sing this song through the grief of the such loss.
He lost so much but he never lost the one who kept him through it all! God is truly awesome! He will keep us no matter what we go through, loosing four daughters all at once and being able to sing this song through the grief of the such loss. In memory of my daughter who I loss in Oct 09
only by the grace of God could someone stand up to something as horrible as losing all 5 children..but what a beautiful song the Lord gave him. some saints have to go through horrible trials..a sister in my church lost her daughter when a man broke in and stabbed her 70 times. he was put to death the easy way.i think they should die the way they murdered. some through the water some through the flood some through the fire but all through the blood..but God gives a song Praise to his holy name.
This is one of my best!!!! This Video makes me cry.. God give me the courge to do it well in church this sunday. Guy Penrod u a great with David. Very nice combination. D.K Kampala
I am so happy I found that I found the GVB.I want to say that I love both David and Guy but I relly believe that Russ is excited about the trumpet shall sound and the Lord shall descend not Davids singing
Two of the most talented and remarkable voices ever to be presented back to our God... give me chills every time I listen to this song.

Darn, drat, gosh, golly, goodness gracious, gee whiz....there are hundreds.

what is the deal with people holding their hands up? I have never understood that, it seems very showy and fake.
randymag833 1 year ago
@randymag833
The deal with people raising their hand towrd heaven is they are exhuberent in their worship of the Lord. A person would have to be half dead not to want to raise their hands and voices to the King of Kings in a song like that. Try it, some time, you may just like it...
HzWings 1 year ago 3
@randymag833 Many times in the Bible, people raise their hands in worship, and so I think that's the immediate reason people do it today. I think of it as a way for me to thank God and show Him that I understand that everything I have is not of my own work, but His work. Almost as if to throw my hands up and say, "I didn't do it". I do think some folks have simply been conditioned to do it, which is why it comes off as showy, because its not genuine, which is unfortunate b/c God deserves more.

When I grew up, "geez" was always short for "gee whiz!"
(Like Beaver saying "Geez, Wally!" on Leave it to Beaver.)
Nobody I know ever considers it to be slang for Jesus.

@hoover4000 Sorry, my friend..."G--z" is most definately dishonouring GOD's commandment not to take HIS name in vain...we realy must be mindful of our obedience to GOD...just like "gosh" is a slang version for GOD and that is taking HIS name in vain...the more we seek HIS face, the more we will have our eyes opened to "sin"...so keep seeking HIM my friend...read HIS word and know what HE requires to be obedient for HE says that if we love HIM, we will keep HIS commandments...Blessings to you <3
jewelltruscott 1 year ago
@hoover4000 I had heard as a child that "geez" was a replacement for Jesus and "gosh" for God, by a godly woman I highly respected. I don't use geez and gosh to substitute for anything. They are just expressions used for emphasis, without taking the name of the Lord my God in vain.
Evangeline220 1 year ago
@Evangeline220 That is fabulous. God bless you for your conscientous use of language. But remember, your language preferences may not be that of your neighbor.
clarksvillegirl43 1 year ago
Hi hoover - I've enjoyed all of your videos and look out for any new ones. Thanks for all you do.
I must also add my bit re. the term 'geez' (and it even bothers me to write it). It certainly is, as 'daddysgirl' writes, an abbreviation used in place of 'Jesus' and any etymologic source would confirm that for you. Think about it - don't you use the word 'geez' in exactly the same place and in the same tone as another would use the Lords name or worse, some foul expression, as an expletive?
quadro95 1 year ago
if everyone would stop jumping down my throat about the whole "G--Z" thing that would be great.

Too many self righteous hippocrites!
clarksvillegirl43 1 year ago
@hoover4000 ... another example of a "teachable moment" ... with humility we can learn without having to stoop to being self-defensive. Such is an opportunity to offer a good example of Christ's total lack of self-defense.
mnhzmazingrace 1 year ago
@mnhzmazingrace i dont mean to be rude, i wish people would look at things from my point of view. It's easy as a casual observer to put your two cents in, but if you had to deal with the comments i deal with and work as hard as i work at this youtube thing you'd start to get self-defensive too. I have plenty of humility but I happened to notice the first person I responded too said "G--Z" as well. Did anybody slap their wrist for it? No just me. Why? Because i'm hoover4000. Yeah, that's fair.

@mnhzmazingrace Maybe this was a "teachable moment," but you should have followed Matt. 18:15 and taken this to hoover4000 privately first, instead of embarrassing him/her on a public forum like this. girlmathnerd 9 months ago
@mnhzmazingrace ...here is a "teachable moment" why tell your brother he has a splinter in his eye when you have a plank in your own? just another example of one christian trying to be "more christian" than another. What is in your heart is what matters and what God sees.
creativeplanetjanet 1 year ago
@hoover4000 Hey Hoover - before I even got to this comment of yours I was going to comment to those folks that in my day, it meant gee whiz to us kids, and nothing else. Or maybe geez louise ... but never as slang for Jesus. Do they associate every slang for cursing, I wonder .. should we never say "gosh" or "darn" ?? Perhaps they should rethink their critical natures, instead of being critical of your attempts to bring these beautiful, thought-provoking & calming videos for us to enjoy.
laffinlady 1 year ago
@hoover4000 Well, that is very interesting but I am not from the area of the USA that uses gee whiz, instead of Jesus, to soften the blow for sensitive ears. Where I come from gee whiz, gee, golly, golly gee are simply slang expressions used in the same way cool is used as a slang expression, and when we mean Jesus, we say Jesus, and when we mean gee whiz...mostly used to indicate disappointment or an error, like if you dropped theh bowl of mashed potatoes on the floor.
MimiDove9 1 year ago
@hoover4000 Jumping Jehosophats, Golly Gee and Gosh darn it! Seriously, does anyone really think your are a blasphemer? How many times do you have to say that you didn't know that "geez" was a derivative of Jesus? I think these words exist for just the opposite reason that the people judging you for seem to think. They are words used in order NOT to take the name of the Lord in vain. Jesus, I wish people would s top throwing stones at others and I really meant these words for Jesus. God Bless U
