  • Spirit of the 80's walks with me ...

  • This is remarkable, i love your videos

  • Excellent!

  • Paddy is a brilliant lyricist and a true musical artist in the long northern CELTIC sense and tradition of the word.I guess the Beatles,Shack,Jah Wobble belong to this tradition also.Actually Andromeda H did reach a level hardly attained in the 90s and certainly not since Steve Mc Queen.I still regard the Swoon album breakthrough as something utterly different and deeply moving. It was hard to predict then they would get so sweet and still retain an edge but THIS won't change the World for sure.

  • wonderful

  • Prefab Sprout is the best group of all time. My other favorite groups are The Blue Nile, Cocteau Twins, The Smtihs, The Sundays, Shellyean Orphan and The Go Betweens

  • Nice slide! The song is top 5 of greatest ever from the "sprouts". Can´t get tired of it! Let´s play it one more time :-)

  • If this doesn't do it for you - whoever you are - then nothing will, and you are, indeed, a zombie.

  • Love.

  • Yes, what a song!

  • Great job!

  • Wonderful, wonderful song!

  • Quel album merveilleux !! Mercy on him ??

  • Wow. Did that song really just happen? I'm going back in.

  • Paddy has a cool beard now!

  • What a Valentine Song....14 Februari....

    So Fantastic!!!!!!

  • A love song to music and so much more.........

Thanks so much indeed from Spain!!!

  • @cleckheaton Hello, I agree with you. Prefab Sprout is a great group. I love songs with melody and that's what this group has: marvellous melodies and good voices.Your spanish is not so bad. You can always improve it. So as I should do with my english.

Have a nice day!. / ¡Que tengas un buen día!.

  • This song hits the spot every time, just like great pop is meant to. It reminds me of how brilliant Prefab Sprout are and a time when music felt like the centre of the universe. I agree that the song is staggering, one of the best songs in years from any band. Long may Prefab Sprout continue to thrill those that understand the value of one of the most important bands Britain has or ever will produce. Sublime song from a unique band.

  • This song is staggering

  • lovely music !!!!!

  • Do you know really the feeling that causes me to listen to your music? The day you die God will have you in heaven. Thank you.

  • gee, why didn't paddy and wendy get married and keep making heavenly music forever and ever, amen? "save the world" came just in time to save me. more lost albums, please!.

  • The magic and genius of this song, voice and lyrics is evident to anyone with sense and sensibility. Thank you Paddy McAloon for enriching our lives with your music.

  • this song is so bad it's way past good and back to bad again

  • Comment removed

  • Music is good, singing is good, lyrics are totally cringing. Sorry :-(

  • I've been a fan of Prefab Sprout since the beginning. My friends in college laughed at my great appreciation for "swoon".....the never got "it". Paddy's music takes a patient ear and the release of this record was necessary AND LONG OVERDUE ! One question though...whatever happened to Wendy? Cruel was my favorite from swoon and her voice and looks forever haunt me....

  • Welcome back Paddy ! I follow you since 1985 and, every time, I love your music more and more...YOU ARE A GENIUS ! Thanks to exist !

  • We salute you Paddy for your musical genius.I'm not ashamed to admit your music brings tears of happiness to my eyes,as would my ears if they could cry.

  • IT JUST GROWS ON YOU !!!

  • This is one of the greatest songs ever written either by Paddy McAloon or anyone else. Its joyous celebration of music sums it all up so well as only Mr McAloon can. This is up there with all the other great Prefab Sprout songs. Listen to this once and you get swept away with the sweetness of the melody and then several plays later, you're still hooked. If music has the power to transcend, Prefab Sprout own the copyright.

  • this is such a sweet song...and this band produces so much sweet, affecting music...i can't get this song out of my head right now...

i ain't so knocked out by paddy's religious stuff, but god bless him, he seems like the nicest man and so sincere...plus a great sense of chord progressions...

i read a UK guardian review of the recent PS stuff: paddy is truly a man out of time.

  • Just heard of this group last week on DR Netradio in the office in the USA. Thought I would check it out again ...very good...I'll be listening to more of them...never heard them even on air in the US when they were popular in EU. I just finished reading Wiki on them....nice song.

  • we reach the andromeda heights....thank you for tall, paddy...with your music, the world is better

  • Best song (they've) ever written.

  • What a fantastic song! The words are stunning - when listening to this song I, too, am just a boy in rags staring at a princess...

  • Why doesn't Paddy write a pile of shite . IT SELLS. Cars And Girls and Hey Manhattan didn't even make the top forty !!! Paddy's too good for this world

  • Exactly,& aren't we the lucky ones who recognise the talent we have in our midst.

The rest of the world clearly have cloth ears to say the least!

  • What a tremendous gift Paddy McAloon is.I've said before that he is just so underrated in this country.

I find it sad that his music has not encapsulated the British public to the extent that it should.

"We" are so lucky to have his music anyway.

  • Although the gorgeous 'Falling in love' from the same album is instantly recognisable as a 'hit', this track for me is one of Sprout's best tracks of all time. It reminds me of 'Hey Manhattan' in the way it took me quite a few listens before it completely got under my skin. The lyrics also elevate this from "can't get it out of my head" status to simply: Great.

  • Come on, Andromeda was too cheesy !!

This one gives back the energy of his melodic and nervous inspiration that was on the previous ones.

But Neil on the drums is really missing

  • Fantastic song!

  • Maybe Andromeda Heights... I did say that yesterday.

  • I've always had trouble with which one is my favorite. But I do wish my copy of "Music" would hurry up and arrive so I may continue. Thanks Paddy. You're a genius of pop music.

  • Thanks Paddy. You're a genius of pop music.

  • This song is fantastic but Paddy McAloon is the only band member featured on the new album so including the ex-members of Prefab Sprout is just wishful thinking.

  • This album is good of course but is not a jordan ou andromeda Heights (my favourite)

  • Thanks for that, I'll get those albums now as I think this current album is absolutely superb.

  • great slideshow, nice work.

If you haven't heard this CD you need to!

  • I have the cd and wanted to promote it. Thanks for the compliment.x

  • NIce work - the more promotion of the album, the better! What a song, eh? :-)

  • Thanks Jim....much appreciated. x
