Right at the first croctopus you follow him. You can just go the lower route and make it past him before he touches you.
Whenever Enguarde dashes at a corner, he'll follow the curvature and move forward quickly. In the video, you cleared each corner, then dashed.
Also, you should have dashed whenever you could, especially near the end. You paused a bit between dashes.
