I have this kit and its one of the best kits ive played for the price! I got it at a total steal of 399 though. But it is fantastic! Still havent got them tuned up perfect yet but they have a great sound!

I recently bought a Ddrum Diatribe 100% Birch. They're definately a nice sounding kit and they're pretty reasonably priced... so if anyones considering a new used kit or even a new new kit you should add that to your list to look at :)

Wurden zum Aufnehmen nur die 2 Overhead Mikros benutzt oder noch mehr? Der Sound ist nämlich top ;) danke ;)

@maddemaax Unser Testteam verwendet bei den Schlagzeugaufnahmen neben den beiden Neumann-Overheads in der Regel noch ein Mikro für die Bassdrum. Nur mit den Overheads fehlt dann doch etwas untenrum.

i just recently bought this set, an upgrade from my beginner set, its definitely worth buyin if ur looking for a good drum set at a fair price, although i wouldnt recommend this pros, im planning on keepin this a while, but eventually im buyin a more expensive high quality set, but its great for intermediate level drummers in my opinion, unless you wanna go ahead and go big

@nevermoregg- Although I shouldn't I'm going to respond to your moronic statement. I own a DW Collectors Kit and a PDP Exotic Kit , not to mention the Gretch USA's I used to own . That being said I recently bought a set of PDP M5's for my young students when they visit for lessons and when tuned precisely they sound just about as good as my DW's so before you open your trap know what your talking about D-BAG.

@wwinter88 LOl u can make cheap kits sound good with proper tuning. Now ofc when i said they suck, i'm comparing them with their competition. And that "just about as good as DW" is a big difference buddy. I've always hated the feel of PDP drums ever since I tried the old PDP x7. Changing to maple was a big improvement, but I still dislike the tone, especially the kick.

@JFDrummer22 I'd stay away from Mapex if ur buying new. From what me and others have experienced, Mapex's drum quality isn't as great as tama or pearl. Most of the time the finishes tend to have several mistakes. Now if ur buying used, Mapex drums are really cheap, and will do great for the price. But if ur buying new, I'd always stick with pearl or tama or gretsch. Idk about PDP, but alot of metal people use it. So it can't be horrible

Hallo zusammen,

nach vermehrten Anfragen. Ich benutze im GG zwei HiHats von Anatolian : eine 13er Signature Groove HiHat (hier in diesem Test) und eine 14er Circle Regular HiHat..

ABER : Anatolian hat die gesamte Palette umgestellt und stellt damit alles bisher da gewesene in den Schatten! Hab schon ein Paar Becken gehört. Freu mich sehr darauf ! Vielen Dank für euer Interesse !!

I have the same kit! My problem is that when i hit one drum, it likes to resonate the other drums with it (hitting tom drums causes snare rattle) although this could be because i'm playing in my inclosed room lol. I'm also a little set-up-retarded lol, i'll spend an hour trying to figure out how to get my toms adjusted just right and it never comes out right =p
