She also parades around the corral with a towel on her back, very cooperative with the farrier and all because we started early. It's a guarantee that it will work if you dedicate time to your beloved friend.
I'm a newbie and not ashamed to admit it. I went from having no horses to 3 1/4 in 2 yrs. My mare foaled in may and we had the filly on a halter by the age of 2 months. We've raised her as PET. We knew nothing about having a baby in our barn and I have to say that after watching this, I can actually say that I'm proud of myself lol. My girl is 8 months old (big for her age) and she is halter broke, leads, loads, ties well. We've worked on ground manners from day one.
I got a new little 15 month old stallion today.. I had to work in a whole wide pasture... But basically i was drug around the pasture by a pulling back horse... But teaching him the lateral movements first really helped him. I had him moving with me in an hour. But i still think i went about it in the wrong fashion...
I got a new little 5 month old stallion today.. I had to work in a whole wide pasture... But basically i was drug around the pasture by a pulling back horse... @boogabooga0 It is a simpler tool to teach her how to give to pressure instead of putting a halter on her and having a whole lot on her face rather than a simple rope around her neck. Common Sense.

Why the heck do you have a rope around her throatlatch? Seriously people. Common sense.
