Pep rallies sure have changed since I went to high school from 1977 til 1981. In those days, pep rallies were held in the school gymnasium, where the players would be introduced and the head coach (Vin Ascolese was the head coach in football back then, and still is today) would say a few words;this looks more like a riot outside the high school than a pep rally.
