  • What kind of vegetables did u gave them? My beardie won't eat any vegetables, i don't get it

  • @xQuinXz That is romaine lettuce and carrots. We got them as mature beardies so they came veggie-ready. My suggestion - feed them veggies when they are REALLY hungry.

  • @charleneli what experience do you have with these bearded dragons?

  • Yes carrots are not good for staple veggie.

  • I've read that giving them chopped carrots is bad. They say to mash the carrots when you feed them to the bearded dragons.

  • I was gonna ask you what do bearded dragons eat, but a better thing to ask is what they DONT eat - they seem to nibble on everything, Lol

  • carrot is bad for them. don't feed them carrot.

  • Amen before eat :))))

  • My Breadie doesnt like to eat her greens!

  • @Hioncodered You're not the only one. Having a hard time trying to get my Henry Lawsoni to eat green aswell

  • @Hioncodered what greens are you feeding her? and if shes younger that could be why

  • @lostsoulnightangel I feed her Romaine

  • this is SO cute <3

  • Awwwww so cute! ^_^

  • You: hey guys start the dinner when i say go

    00:09 stay....

    00:10 go dig in XD

  • Wait, wait, wait, Amen. Dig in!!!!!!!

  • wow yours look like little yodas... very very different face then mine....

  • were they actually chewing up the carrots, or just swallowing them whole? Ive never seen anything like that before, pretty sweet video!

  • Gorgeous berdies

  • sooooooooooo cute <3 <3

  • i have one to but my parants dont play whit him...

  • nice beardie :) check mine eating some veggies aswel

  • you should NEVER feed your beardie iceburg lettuce!

  • @technorox34 It won't kill them it's just not nutritious.

  • One was like sooo this looks appetizing and the the other ones like yep it sure noes ahh Nom nom nom nom

  • ohh young teenagers on a date so sweet :D

  • Are they vegetarians?

  • Funny, because of that awkward moment in the begaining, it almost seem like the beardies prayed over their food before eating. Very sweet:-)

  • Get my 2 females in 2 weeks cant wait

  • Aww :3 My beardie is picky with kale, He only eats the stems XD

  • lol who was reading a prayer before the meal?

  • cool but FYI most lettuce has almost no nutrients and can cause diarrhea. Maybe try substituting collard or mustard greens instead.

  • @TwistedGuido Like you said .. MOST lettuce has no nutrients. Im not judging you Im jsut saying .....

  • @TwistedGuido (white lettuce is bad that looks like rommain)

  • umm also add some rats to that plate thats there normal diet for big ones for smaller ones crickets

  • @jeepstinger Ummmm NO rats mice shit like that yay a beardy is capaple of digusting it but its NOT recomended in there diet insects and some veggies/fruits is plenty a mouse even is nothin more then a choking hazard and he could damge himself with the spine. If you want to kill your beardy early go for it but dont tell others false information.

  • They didn't eat for the first few seconds cuz they were blessing the food. Haha.

  • "So hon, how was your day"

"I CANT DEAL WITH YOU ANYMORE!"

    "o_o"

  • haha like 2 cute crazy twins <3

  • They're beautiful!

  • 0:10 - Amen! lets eat.

  • @Snowboard4Lyfe2 haha nice

  • @Snowboard4Lyfe2 Rofl!

  • KILL EM !

  • It was obviously an eating contest..

    Ready set go on 0:12!

  • I know it's natural to eat vegetables but how can you teach your beardy to eat them? my beardy hes about 4 years old and he still won't eat them. Most of the time I have to force them into his mouth but I hate doing that.... Is there a certain way I can teach my beardy to like them??

  • @XjapanXdaisukiX put a bit of colour in ie, red lettuce /carrots some meal worms

  • oh, i thought beardies coulndt eat lettuce?

  • @klalz03 They can eat it, it won't harm them. But it has no nutritional value for them is all :)

  • lol looook at that triple chin lol

  • CUTE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • So cute~ I am am amazed n jealous...our beardie is a picky girl w veggies,etc and I've tried quite a few...enjoy them , thanks for sharing!

  • so uumm.how did u get them to eat without moving or shaking the food around?!?!?!@?!

  • IT WOULD BE COOLER IF THEY WERE FIGHTING.

  • i love how they started eating at the same time.. like they were saying a prayer first or something =)

  • Don't feed your beardies too many carrots, it can cause vitamin a toxicity in your pet. Only occasionally should they have carrots.

  • aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaawwwwwwwwwwwwww

  • mine poops on carrots!

  • tea's done.

  • eat yo greens bitch!

  • ones got a double chin

  • They look at each other like "ok, who can eat the most, annnd go."

  • My beardi wont eat carrots....he poops on them

  • When i get a bearded dragon for Christmas will it be okay if i feed him the crickets and worms with tweezers? Because I dont like to touch bugs

  • @111chick7 ACTUALLY thats the best thing to do so you dont get food smell on yur hands, he might bite ya.i HAVE to feed one of mine with tweezers cus he engulfes the whole thing lol.

  • @111chick7 ya thats a really good thing to do, and dont just use any old tweezers, go to your petstore and they will have tongs there that are specially for feeding reptiles bugs and whatever you dont want to touch

  • @angelortega96 He puts the bowl in front of them and they eat it! :p How else would they eat it.

  • i feed my bearded dragon meat!!!!

  • I red somewhere that you shouldn't feed them carrots cause vitamin a is hard to digest for them. don't know if this is true but you might want to look up about it

  • how old are they?

  • HOW DO YOU GET THEM TO EAT VEGGIES I HAVE TRIED EVERYTHING AND MY ALMOST 6 MONTH OLD WILL NOT EAT VEGGIES??? I'VE TRIED TO TRICK HER BY GIVING HER A MEAL WORM THEN WHEN SHE DONE SWALLOWING IT BUT STILL LICKING THE AIR PUTTING THEM IN HER MOTH AND SHE WILL SHAKE HER HEAD AND DIGG IN HER MOUTH WITH HER FEET TO GET IT OUT!! SHE WILL NOT EAT THEM AT ALL!! PLEASE HELP ME????????

  • @samstube23 is there a bowl of fresh veg in there all day? where she can see them? Maybe try different types of veggies as they can be fussy eaters, and maybe spray them with water to keep them fresh. Failing that, try not feeding her as many crickets, maybe miss her morning meal. She's more likely to eat them if she's hungry. Hope this helps!

  • @mrFRODOsir o OK I'LL TRY THAT THANKS!!! PS: I'LL LET YOU KNOW HOW IT GO'S!!

  • @samstube23 Try different stuff, something it will like. Best stuff is dandielion greens collard greens mustard greens turnip greens, green beans, peas, zuccinii, squash and fruits like bannanas, blueberries and strawberries. Grapes are BAD and do not feed them lettuce. Ice berg has zero nutrients in it and spinach has something in it that counteracts the calcium so all the supplements in the world will do no good if you feed spinach and I think romain too.

  • @xSOILBORNx my beardie still will not eat no veggies at all!!! lol the pet store told me that as long as i offer her a lot of different meat that she will stay healthy. i am also going to keep offering her veggies but i am pretty sure she wont ever eat them.

    thanks for the info.

  • @samstube23 Your pet store is misinformed. most pet stores don't know what they're talking about. The ones that sell everything from fish to reptiles to puppies usually don't know shit about reptiles. My local pet store is huge and has everything and they gave me all the wrong info on the beardies. I did my own research online comparing multiple websites and went to a reptile specialist who only breeds and sells reptiles. They MUST eat greans to be healthy it is an essential part of their diet.

  • @xSOILBORNx I am continuing to offer them daily but she just will not eat them and she is very smart if i try to trick her by wrapping a super worm or a wax worm in some kind of green to make it look like it moving she will take it and some how manage to get the worm and spit the green out no matter what kind it is.I do still offer it to her and I do still try to trick her but she is very smart. i;ve called a few vets that take reptiles and even they said that she only needs 20% veggies.

  • I have had her since augest and she is doing great even without the veggies. i had mass people tell me that she is growing better then any beardie they;ve ever seen so i dont know what the deal is.i feed her meal worms wax worms crickets ans super worms ever day.

  • @samstube23 Beardies diet when babies and juvenile is primarily insects with veggies/fruit to compliment, so something 80% insect and 20% greens ( I mix collard or dandelion greens with berries or mango mostly but do change it up). Once they are older and into adulthood, their primary food should be the veggies with insects to compliment, so still somewhere around 80/20 but in reverse. Perhaps you could try feeding the greens first.

  • @sucosam ...lol SHE STARTED EATING THE GREENS FINALLY AND STOPPED EATING THE MEAT(CRIKETYS,WAX WORM,AND MEAL WORMS) NOW IT DEPENDS ON THE DAY SOME DAYS SHE'LL EAT THE GREENS, AND OTHERS SHE'LL EAT THE MEAT...sCE CRAZY!!! THANKS FOR ALL THE INFO THOUGH I REALLY APPRECIATE IT!!!! :)

  • i would like to thank the lord for this meal. amen. OMNOMNOM

  • man the are nice i should get 2 but im already bout 2 pay 150 for my female

  • That looks like iceburg lettuce wich has no nutritional value to beardies at all darker greens are better for them

  • @chris32794 I've yet to see iceberg lettuce that dark! As long as it's dark leafy greens, they have nutritional value.

  • @yamagoof yeah altho iceberg lettuce has a use of increasing their water intake if a lizzie refuses te drink water

  • Thats So Cute! You Can Have The Beardies Eat Dinner With You At The Table:)

  • this is hilarious!! haha

  • just a tip carrots is not good food for them in contein fosfor and make theys skeleton week

  • @Porre1337 consitering there that big im sure what he is feeding them is ok i eed my carrots and my is 9 years old so i think he is doing ok

  • Are bearded dragons omnivores?

  • @XBoxLingo

    yes bearded dragons are omnivores

  • how do you get them to eat veggies my dragon really wont eat veggies.

  • howbig there cage ?? plse reply with a persanol msg

  • they're precious!

  • they start at the same stime

  • how u get them to eat like that?

  • Eating contest at 0:10

  • lol

  • aww, it's a date :) so cute!! 5/5

  • they're so cute xD

  • hmm did u make sure that it all was shredded or cut to REALLY tiny pieces? this makes them want to eat it all instead of picking out their favorites

  • how the hell do you get your bearded dragon to eat their veggies. mine hates them (which I find strange >.>)

  • lol

  • train them using mango or papaya by hand feeding it to them, then move on to greens then start training them to eat from a bowl.

beardies are like children they are very picky especially when young.

  • mine too dude it will take nibbles and thats it i think mine is too young tho

  • Mine won't touch her's either. She ate them for a while but then stopped.

  • same unless i put crickets on it

  • hey just wondering can i buy two male bearded dragons or will they fight? this is a question for anyone to answer please give me your opinion thanks :)

  • well from what i know, i am not an owner of bearded dragon but of another lizard, usually lizards will fight if its two males, 2 females can go together though. like i said im not expert but thats what i know

  • as babys no, but when they get older they might

if u want 2, id get 2 females

  • I got 2 male and they dont fight ;)

  • well, it all is really going to depend.. when it hits breading season there is a pretty good chance they will... but in other cases i've seen 2 bearded dragons DURING mating season and they never had a fight

  • there big dragons !

  • hi!

Can You tell me where you got these Bearded Dragons? Or can you direct me to a site where i could get one that look exactly like yours, but babies! I wanna raise my own Dragon!

  • u can get them from pet stores.

  • if u live by berkeley,CA then u should go to "East Bay Vivarium" its an awesome store, its like a zoo, also jamie and adam from the mythbusters get their personal pets from them, so does mike rowe from dirty jobs, i got my python from them, and i love him

  • 0:11 BON APPETITE! then they re inact the Lady and th tRamp scee with the meatballs HAHA

  • actually though, your not supposed to feed them lettuce (iceburg) it gives them diarriah.Even romaine lettuce isnt perferred but better, the things that is the best for them, are, dandoline greens, mustard greens, collard greens, basically any greens...

  • Guys, this was posted back in 2007. The submitter has probably already killed them by now with that diet.

  • try romaine lettuce

  • try feeding them raw sweet potatoes (put in fridge after cutting to keep)instead of carrots (alternate) ours can't get enough of them

  • i gave mine carrots and kale today but he isn't eating it. He used to eat it, but when i put it in there he only ate crickets. Why won't he eat the salad?

  • that was so cool they started eating at the same time

  • soo cute ! :3

  • wow you can actually get your dragons to eat carrots and lettuce mine only eat crickets they want nothing to do with vegtables

  • thats...not tooo good, but where did you buy your beardie from? normally the breeder should feed the hatchlings 2 crickets each or so and mostly get them use to Vegetables..mine loves vegies over crickets

  • Ever try feeding the dandelion leaves or flowers. My beardie absolutely loves them.

  • same with my BF's :3 First time we put a dandelion infront of his beardies face she ate away at it like crazy without even knowing what it was xDDD

  • HAhahahahah Good one. I am your BF. You forgot my username already? Thats fantastic :D

  • . . .

I think I had a blonde moment...^^;; I don't know why I did not recognize your username xDDDD

  • there on a date

  • Are those two males??? Beautiful Bearded dragons

  • I agree with 10bucks, people dont know what they are talking about. Bearded dragons need to eat vegatables because it helps them to stay hydrated and keeps them nice and healthy. So anybody who tryes to tell you that is it bad for them, tell them to look it up because they need that stuff or they could die!

  • lol aww cute little piggys =] eating as fast as they can

  • Yum yummy!

  • How cute!!! LOL! they both start eating at the same time. =)

  • Everybody just needs to know to stop saying It's bad for them and all that shit. The owner takes care of them, and you take care of yours.

I just hate it when people say everything is bad for beardies. Sand is bad, veggies are bad, lighting is wrong. Lalalala.

If you take care of your beardie, nobody else should say it's wrong. Some of you that are saying it's bad probably don't have any beardies and just got all of that false info from people that don't even know what they are talking about.

  • Put some mealworms in with a salad if they aren't eating it. The moment attracts them

  • in terms of crickets is it better to serve them live or dead to my beardie?

  • Alive, because dead one's have a higher chance of them being contanimated by nasty stuff.

  • live it is just easier to get them to eat it apossed to dead

  • lol omg thats what I had for a salad hehehe hahaha

  • i like how they both started eating at the same time

  • is roiman letace good for them

  • No. It's bad for them. It is mostly water and can cause diarrhea. Better staple greens are Turnip, Mustard and Collard greens. I mix all 3 for my bearded dragon and she loves the Mustard greens :)

  • yea i feed my beardie green lettuce and romaine hes fine and likes romaine cause he wont eat green anymore lol

  • dude its good for them...

its iceberg lettuce that you dont wanna feed them

  • completely agree mate

  • lol @ like 0:12 their like "AMEN LET'S EAT"

  • @uknowimmancandy Hahaha that made me LOL

  • LOL your beardies are fat haha. thats a compliment to me though, fat beardies mean they are healthy :-) they were cute aswell lol

  • Bearded 1:MMMMMMM

Bearded 2:Hey that was my carrot!!!

    Bearded 1:Not anymore douchebag!!

  • Comment removed

  • lol they look around nd both eat at the same time

  • LOL

  • did your dragons eat his greens when he was a baby cuz mine wont even look at them? so is it normal and is there anything i can do to make him eat his greens or he will just eat them as he gets older thank you

  • mine has always eat greens, tyr holding it between your fingers and offering it

  • Hey I noticed your comment and I was recently dealing with the same problem until someone helped me. So i'll give you some advice they gave me. Well mine is an adult and they eat 80% veggies/fruit and only 20% protein. And it looks like yours is a baby so as a baby you wana feed it the opposite amount, 20% veggies/fruits and 80% protein. So you should feed yours crickets (or any other protein meats) every day or every other day. Then when its the weekend give him some lettuce/veggies/fruit.

  • Thats helpful for a new Owner to know about. I am one.

  • they ate at the same time cute

  • like lady and the tramp
