A great film, fine performance by Gregory Peck. I was impressed how a movie of the time dared to bring up an issue that was swept under the rug during the late 40's, early 50's of a White Picket Fence era. This wasn't the antisemitism of WWII but still, something cold and prejudice lurked in society that barred Jews (and other minorities) from holding jobs and going to various clubs and schools. The last few minutes of the film are all worthwhile watching. Thank you for sharing this.
