I dont understand something, the school said that if they would change the rule, that they'll have to change the rule in all the euro schools.. But in Brussel, they already have C permission..? They can go out in the lunch breaks, but not in free hours, but still..

Well I think it's good that we protested, but even if it does change, it won't change before any of us graduate, cus they have to change it in all euroschools and they're not exactly fast at changing things, especially not legal things. The survey we were promised hasn't come out yet, for example :)

@jok3rakos We had the meeting with the head mistress, Lufi, etc and two parents committee reps. Basically what's gonna happen now, is that there (as far as I know) will be surveys asking the parents and the 4th and 5th what they think and then in january a group called the SAG (who can change or create rules in the school) will come and we'll have a meeting with them and the school, where the final decision will be taken. We'll try to have a classrep meeting asap to explain in everything

if you instead of asking "why", ask them "why not" and then give solutions to those problems it'll be easier to convince them.

E.g.

If it's because school has legal responsibility for you during school time

solution: with a permission slip signed by parents the school wont have any problems with this.

The Lunch at school is much to expensive and doesnt taste good. With C we could go to auchan and buy cheaper and better stuff to eat. The other thing is that we cant go anywhere during the breaks. To the cantine only when we eat something. to the library only when we are learning and the cafeteria is always to full!!

I'd like to go out of school because I believe everything school provides is limited. We asked for change but nothing did. Therefore, we have asked to provide for ourselves. Is that too hard to understand?

Well, I think we should just be allowed to go out, because we may want to buy cheaper things in Auchan, or just go home, because you forget for example something like a folder for class. :D Nothing can happen to us really, so why cant we just go.?

Starting from 3rd grade on, I always left school during my free periods and guards were never present for me and I never got caught.

I think the majority of 4th and 5th years are responsible enough to go out the ones that aren't will climb over the gate anyway. With parents consent C permission is perfectly reasonable.

I wish to obtain the C permission... Why? Simply because I find that we don’t have enough freedom and it has became worse since the new rules... I’ll want that we can go out of the school during free periods and lunch break to eat in another place that the canteen or the cafeteria.. I also find that smokers should obtain the permission to go outside to smoke.. I don’t see why we could refuse us it? Actually , the situation is even worse because they smoke in the toilets … So give us C please !

I think the "protest" would've been better conducted if there wasn't people incessantly shouting "we want c". It didn't help at all.

I think that 4th and 5th years should be allowed to go out during lunch because then the 6th and 7th years would have their room without "small people disturbing them" also 1-3 years could go to the cafeteria so that they also have "their room". If C permission will not be allowed then at least the school should give us another possibilty to eat. If the food in school would be good why would people want to go to Auchan? Also the food supply is too small to supply everbody in school..

4th and 5th years shouldn't be allowed to leave the school wenever they want to: 1 they are too young to take care of theirself in the dangerous outside world. 2 they might get raped by some pedophile. 3 they might get run over by a bus. and 4th but not least, past students never got the permission to leave the school and had to wait until 6th and 7th year, and so I don't see why some pretentious little kids should now change the rules just coz they wanna go out to smoke a fag and seem cool.

@cimattikaiman I think you completely got it wrong. Past student when they were in 4th and 5th always went to auchan and nobody (the guards or the teachers) said anything. Now the new director took this thing more seriously and i don't blame her, she's right, because the responsability is of the school. But ith the C permission the responsability is of the parents or tutor. Anyway i think the C permission should be available only for 4th and 5th.

about the smokers in 4 and 5, yes, they'll smoke inside the school, and then something similar to the fire in T block before 2-3 years will happen again, where somebody smoked on the toilet, threw the cigarette into the bin, and then a fire broke out, the school had to pay for it... and btw, in T Block are NO fire alarms, we had to smell the smoke to even recognize it... thats is a very serious problem.

i would very much enjoy having c permission, so i can go out, buy some other food, see something different. spice up my daily school life. have some variation, because let's be honest, school ain't that interesting after so many years. i agree, no more protest especially when we don't even know what they have to offer us. i think they should put the c permission on the same paper we recieve for a and b.
