Thanks for your comment! The yard is *much* bigger than the house. The exact numbers escape me at the moment, but the yard is at least twice as large as the house's footprint.

Space for a garden, yes--but unfortunately, no sun. There's a large tree in the next yard over that shades the garden most of the day.

For 1100 a month, that is more than a reasonable price to live in a studio in the Capitol Hill neighborhood. Plus its cute.

@ scaredelectric, I have no idea on either question. It's been inspected by the District and deemed safe for renting out, so I guess so. For the second question, maybe start with whoever regulates residential zoning where you live.

I'm glad you like it! To answer your question, there's only one level. The dimensions are 9 feet by 28 feet, or 252 square feet--it's the smallest single house in DC.
