I've always absolutely loved this song, and One Republic is obviously a great singer and very talented. But to hear David take this song and add his own special touch and make it even better is truly amazing. To hear how he harmonizes and complements the song so well is true talent. He doesn't try to overpower or outsing the One Republic guy (I can't remember his name). He doesn't have to. He doesn't have to prove anything. His ability speaks for itself. Just look at his US & Asian tours!

OMG, I was so shocked that David ARCHULETTA didn't win even though David Cook was good but come on Americans Archuletta was so much better and I know that he will over power David Cook in his career. And when he sang this it was the best part of the night and i am now very sad that he didn't win but I think that he will be huge and I will be looking forward to be the first in line to buy his cd's because his voice is so amazing and his performances are amazing. yea i agree Archuleta is awesome, apparently, archie's fans mostly voted by cell phones, and only 1/20 votes count by cp, and Cook's fans mostly voted by normal phones, and 100% of those votes are counted. So techinically david a. has more fans :)

No, no, they didn't cheat. There was just a whole lot of people voting for David Cook. I think it should have been a tie, but beggars can't be choosers, I suppose. They both did really well, but I think that the main reason most people voted for David Cook is because his voice can be used in many genres of songs. David A's voice sounds good mainly for slower songs like this one. But, he's still growing, so his voice will keep growing too. Both are going to get a CD anyway, I'm sure of it^^
