on a fretted you have the frets that stop you from being able to slide the harmonic; kind of like a speed bump.

@BlazinJzZz It is possible to slide harmonics on a fretted, but it is a little easier on a fretless. For anyone trying to learn how to slide harmonics I recommend trying a fretless first, and translating that motion onto a fretted. That's how I learned at least.
