@micey1105 They obviously don't grind up the good cuts of kobe. What do you think is in your regular hamburger and hot dog? It's all the left over parts plus the tougher cuts of meat like the back leg or rump for example, plus other parts that you don't want to know.
@micey1105 Not every part of the cow makes for a good steak. They'll take certain leftover parts that get trimmed and grind it up. That's not to say that you couldn't make a ground beef with the tenderloin cut, but I would agree with you that that wouldn't be worth it in my book.
