this does not work. despite it showing the existance of the pagefile in the system settings, windows will not GENERATE and USE a swap file that is on a usb drive. Notice no one ever opens up the flash drive to show the swapfile?? most of the time the pagefile will default to the primary drive. I repeat; it does not work. Even if you hack your usb driver so it appears as a local disk it still won't work. This only works on windows versions newer than xp.
This doesn't work it only turns the flash drive into something called called virtual memory which is 100 times slower that normal RAM memory. Now your computer automatically takes excess memory on your hard drive and turns it into virtual memory. It's better to let the computer just pull virtual memory from the hard drive because flash drive ports run at 1 bit/sec (super super slow for those who don't know) so this basically does nothing for you just buy more RAM
this is another video of idiocy seriously folks stop drinking the mercury
setting the page file to the flash drive does 2 things: continue's windows xp heavy use of system RAM to be used as the place for memory storage and access, and changes simply the place for the page file from a hard disk to the [solid state; limited num of read/write] flash drive. this doesn't help you at all -- the usb drive will fail from being used too much, while hard drive likely wont.
Big Scam
