I like this song a lot. The lyrics are especially good, and the vocal style is very nice. I still haven't quite figured out the new YouTube rating system, but I clicked on the little "Thumbs Up" symbol, and it gives the running total of votes. lol, thanks, Adrian....I wish I knew how the muse worked....sometimes, these lyrics hit me out of the blue....so I don't question where I get it...it just comes to me. Although I play around with words and do lots of brainstorming, rewrites, etc. I also listen to people's conversations....you can get a lot of ideas that way.

Hey, Michael....you guessed right. I'm from Alabama. :) I have sent my songs out to publishers, and I am also a member of TAXI, a company that also tries to get your songs on the desks of publishers. I've gotten some interest, but it's very hard to get a publishing contract. :) It's easier to win a lottery, I think. The song has to be perfectly targeted to an artist, not just a good song.
