Ha ha...that's a cool machine! Our machines are often copied from insects that can move and use their appendages in various ways. And, thanks for your Grady comment on my channel. BTW, if you like train cab videos in HD, check out railtomo and seishun18kinkippu channels for real nice stuff, including the bullet train and mag-lev train. Hope winter ends there soon for you guys.
@connrail I thought so also. It does the same thing as a full size flanger or blower but on a smaller scale. the use it also too dress the ballast and all under its own power. Thanks for watching.
@iusetano I thought this looked an awful lot like one of the ballast machines I caught at Horseshoe during Railfest '09; maybe with an extra blade or two.
@FastFlyingVirginian You nailed that one right on the head. That's what makes me think this is a very versatile piece of equipment. Under it's own power and operated by one person. I was impressed. Thank you kindly for commenting.
@petro062 They do a great job at the switches and the frogs but CN and CP cross someone's driveway so the crossing has to be looked after also. A snow build up thats left to be packed and freeze will lift the locomotive off the tracks.

@chrisvazquez7 They just had 6" that night and more on the way. That is a crossing there for someones driveway. Thanks for watching.
iusetano 1 year ago
@chrisvazquez7 It's a switch and it needs to move freely. He might have to get a shovel and dig.
