I have the Stevie Wonder CD with the song ("Natural Wonder") and the commercial sounds like him singing that song on that CD. Didn't realize Mary J. Blige sounded the same, but you are right -- I listened to her singing the song on amazon and it's definitely her. My apologies. :-)

I may be sounding a little contracdictory from what I've said before but what a lot of people don't know is that Houston during the 90s had the best winning % against the Bulls. Hakeem was ALMOST as dominant as Shaq back then. It would've been awesome to see Olajuwon at his best against Mike.
you are so right. Hakeem was on a mission, and besides Jordan was only out one full season at the time. When he did come back the magic beat them in the playoffs in 95, they were good as well. and in 94 the bulls lost to the knicks in a game 7. the knicks were there biggest competition in the 90's.

In the 2004 Finals and last season's Finals, Mike would've found a way to win. Kobe has lost in two NBA Finals series, Mike never lost a Finals series once he got there.

As a Die Hard life long Laker fan (Not typical stupid Laker fans), I say it's hard to call who's the best. But I'll say Mike is the best ever because there was just something inside him that just didn't allow the "other team" to win. Not sayin Earv (Magic) or Larry didn't have it, but Mike had it in spades. I didn't understand this myself until he retired the second time. I used to hate Mike hard. He dispatched the Lakers in the 1991 Finals and the Magic in 1996 Conference Finals.

MJ NEVER beat a top flight team. The West in the 90s was filled with above-average teams that wouldnt have sniffed the Finals in the 80s. And MJ didn't bring out the best in his teammates. Dude....I'm not saying MJ ain't sh**. Hell he probably was the most exciting player to watch. Even I was screaming like a little ho when he lit up Cleveland for 69 points. However I think Magic is the best because he could play every position. And he made his teammates better. He didn't have to shoot the ball over 35 times a game like MJ. Would MJ still be the best if he wasn't at the top of his game when the NBA was at its peak for popularity? What about Dr. J? Bird? Jerry West?

As a Die Hard life long Laker fan (Not typical stupid Laker fans), I say it's hard to call who's the best. But I'll say Mike is the best ever because there was just something inside him that just didn't allow the "other team" to win. Not sayin Earv (Magic) or Larry didn't have it, but Mike had it in spades. I didn't understand this myself until he retired the second time. I used to hate Mike hard. He dispatched the Lakers in the 1991 Finals and the Magic in 1996 Conference Finals.

LOL...then Rodman came along huh? That's another Hall of Famer, giving MJ just as many as Magic had when he won his rings (Jabbar and Wilkes in 80 and 82, Jabbar and Worthy 85, 87, 88). I love the argument that MJ didn't have anyone. Well the league was watered down in the 90s with expansion. How many teams did Jordan beat that actually got BACK to the Finals? One. And that was the Jazz at the end. Their great "rivals" the Knicks didn't win anything. Don't ever slight Magic to credit Jordan

MJ NEVER beat a top flight team. The West in the 90s was filled with above-average teams that wouldnt have sniffed the Finals in the 80s. And MJ didn't bring out the best in his teammates. Not calling Will Perdue "Will Vanderbilt" because he said he didn't rate a Big 10 name. Not having Bill Cartwright threaten to "break his legs" over his insulting him. Not punching out Steve Kerr. MJ was JUST as big a dick as Kobe, just better packaged. And the 76ers and Pistons won rings in the 80s too.

Well any title team that won after the 50's has an asterisk by it if that's the case.
What about the pistons titles? They came around the SAME time the T-wolves, Hornets, Heat & Magic ALL came into the league.
1996-97, 10 of 29 teams in the league won 52+ games, That's 34.5%, the highest % "EVER" in NBA history & those weren't MJ's prime yrs!
Pippen & Grant didn't arrive until '87 & didn't start to BECOME the players they became, until around late 90!
Prior to that, it was ALL MJ!

The Pistons rose by losing to GREAT teams in the Celtics and Lakers and then breaking through and holding on another year. The Bulls never beat a top-flight team. The '91 Lakers were on their last legs and had injuries in the Finals. And flip that 96-97 stat around...7 teams lost more than 56 games with two losing 67+. 14 of the 29 teams had LOSING records

no doubt Jordan is one of the best....but he never won anything until Scottie came around. Magic was winning the minute he got in the league. He made everyone around him better and he can play every position. MJ couldn't play every position.

Really? Pippen was no one? And don't hold Magic having talent with him...it just shows you how good the league was when he PLAYED. MJ's Bulls couldn't get a sniff of a title because in the 80's you needed three Hall of Fame players to win a title. here's another one that got caught up in all the media hype of MJ. yes, MJ was one of the best, ever. Top 3. But not the best. He couldn't play every position. Oh and that game where the had the flu...was so overblown. It is almost medically impossible to play anything with the flu. There's a difference between having the flu and flu like symptoms.

He was really young in this commercial. I like how it features Eddie Jones when he was considered one of the hottest prospects in the NBA. Hell even Jeter was a young buck when this came out.
