  • I love the spiked up classy jazz music as the Land Rover comes to the rescue! haha makes me want to play my yazzz flute!!

  • Lol Nice video... That RR Pull that jeep out in a matter of seconds!!!! Wooow!!

  • He would have easily made it with some lockers then he wouldn't be spinning one front tire and one back tire. My Disco II would make it with my 32" tires, but only because of the traction control system which is the next best thing to lockers. It works great and keeps all 4 tires pulling in mud and I can rock crawl it with no problems. I love jeeps to, but the Rover really impressed me with what it can do stock. All I did was put 265/75/16 tires on it and it is amazing off road.

  • @85BMW745i Land Rover 4-the world!!!!! DII on 35" PITBULL tires, Five inch lift and ARB front and rear, Only God can stop this Rover =D !!!!

  • well that was stupid the rover didnt even go through the mud

  • You are right on everything you said here!!!!

  • Its easy to "improve" something when you don't have military design and weight restrictions to follow. I'm an old FWD fan if you want to talk historical development, but motor vehicles were in their infancy when they started. You do know much more that most Land Rover aficionados, tho, I'm impressed. :) Every vehicle has its strengths and weaknesses, I was only being facetious with my comment. I have nothing against Land Rover, its just fun to mess with people's brand loyalty

  • What does this prove? The Land Rover didn't go through the mud; it just stayed on the dry land and pulled the Jeep out -- something that my 2wd Dodge Ram D150 could probably do. But don't get me wrong -- I'm not saying that the Land Rover couldn't make it through the mud.

  • If read the comments I made you'd see I was out to "prove" anything. Just a video of a fun day. He was the only one who tried the spot - twice! We had a Dodge Ram with us that day, helped pull out a stuck Defender 110. He sold the Ram a year later and bought a 95 Range Rover Classic.

  • jejejeej!! nice choice!! I love RR classic ...

  • Great musical editing.. When the RR appeared was Classic.

  • Thank god d there was a Land Rover , the bast 4x4xfar..

  • You mean, "Thank God the Wilk's brothers had a Jeep around they could copy to keep Rover in business" ;p

  • hahaha GREAT song choice. "whatchin the wheels go round"

  • Nutty doing that with no top! I drove 15 miles of dirt road and spent 2 days vacuuming out my rig! Guess I need different interior!

  • where is this? i've seen this place before!

  • you need some lockers!

  • He bought and built the truck the day before the trip - tires, bumpers, etc. Didn't have time to fit the lockers - you are right, would have been helpful!

  • As off roaders we need to stick together and just have fun. Clearly Jeep and Land Rover are two of the best 4X4s in the world. There is nothing else to prove, they are both amazing. As this video proves, a LR will help a Jeep, just as a Jeep will help an LR in need. It doesn't make one better than the other. Now get out there and wheel!

  • i didn't see the rover cross the same pit so there is nothing to brag about....

    OIIIIIIIO

  • Read my comments below - there is no gloating, no Rovers tried the pit. I've pulled Jeeps out and been rescued by Jeeps. Relax.

  • ok i feel better now LOL

    no hard feelings buddy

  • It's cool - I know it's pretty common for people to get all entrenched in one particular brand and trash-talk everybody else. Check my videos and you'll see the same Jeep pulling out 3 Rovers on a later trip!

  • thats cool i know that the car plays a major role but its all about the driver and some drivers give certain cars a bad name ya know..

    BTW i like your vids

  • hummer h1 recovery for all

  • 10/10 for trying although once you've lost forward and backward motion it's best to admit defeat and swallow your pride love the john lennon song ...nedster...disco driver (proper 4x4)

  • HAHA the music change is perfect!

  • Always a helping hand ... those rovers ... even to Jeeps ;-)

  • Yep, for once in a blue moon, the tables are turned.

  • Get a Defender

  • Search my videos - we pulled one of those out the same day!

  • man he dont give up does he ha I agree that wheeling is about having fun wheel in a station wagon if its fun.

  • No gloating - just fun wheelin!

  • ...I was going to say, not much to gloat about if you can't successfully do the same obstacle after pulling out a _insert brand here_. :) "Have fun out there!"

  • brillant

  • It's all good man - I love my Rovers as well!

  • Well...it was a joke. :) All in good fun.

  • Good people are good people and good trucks are good trucks - it's all about getting out and having fun!

  • nickyill, i like how you own a rover but don't trash jeeps like everyone else does. we are all just off roading.

  • Actually - we coaxed him into going in there - could very easily be videos of our Rovers being towed out as well!

  • Silly Jeep...off-roading's for Land Rovers.
