well, i suck at sparring, and from what i can tell you, if your fighting someone who you know can take you down as soon your open, dont do risky shots like reverse roundhouse unless you got it down, of course, practice is crucial, so experiment with your weaknesses against bags, air, your friends (remind them to go easy) thats all i can really say man

I do a mixture of Sanshou and Vovinam..
Vovinam + Sanshou = killer knockouts.

try to practice your stances first,improve on your balance, and then keep practice your kicks..practice makes it perfect :)
