Win and Regine are the married couple who canned their love for us (the fans) and put their hearts in jars ready to offer it to those who stay at home to watch their music videos! @missvicky123 There's a band called Arcade Fire. The two main people of it are named Win and Régine, and since Owen Pallett sometimes plays with them on tour, I always thought it was about them. Plus, they live in Montreal and she plays the accordion. So it always just made sense to me.

@missvicky123 you're right that the plucked lines that play alone at the beginning and continue through the song are reversed; the rest of the tracks are not and the song doesn't really work better reversed. BUT it does still sound pretty awesome and whole different parts of the song are highlighted listening backwards.
