Actually, nearly all African Americans (and a lot of Caucasians also) are mixed to some degree. If we weren't, we'd all look like full blooded Sub-Saharan Africans and even the ones that do look as such tend to have a mixed racial background too. Just because a black person isn't considered mixed doesn't mean that they're "fully black."
