  • Ramya Krishnan really suits for the role of goddess...I think it has something to do with her eyes. Maybe it's just me but whenever I picture a goddess, she always has such beautiful big expressive eyes! =D

  • really 1 of the best devotional and dance scene from divine movie !

    thumbs up ramya krishnan ^^

  • Amada Madre Kali destructora de brahmanes corrompidos, bendita seas por siempre. OM Nama Kali- OM Nama Shivaia con amor y justicia desde México

  • Excellent videos express well the concept of a Goddess of power and might.

Because use I do not know Hindi culture and the language I am unable to determine the singer facial expressions. She almost seem to be mocking some times. But mocking whom?

  • Jai MA!!!!

  • no games with this goddess

    she is extremely powerful

    jai kali amma

  • I´ve allways found indian culture to be very interesting and also the music and this goddess. The music and this song is something I never will forget and I can´t describe how amazing it is. I´d LOVE to be able to sing this song. Can someone please post the lyrics of this song in latin letters. I´d be very grateful cause this song is AMAZING.

  • its is super i feel excited 2 see this video.Iwas born in adi amavasi so the temple priest told tht i hv NAGADOSHAM I AM THE FORM SNAKE GOD!

  • Wow, this goddess dances and settle people's problems. The viewers get excited whilst watching it as it raises the viewers emotions. But to settle one's problems, one need wisdom and not emotional surge which only lasts temporarily like soda water. Only and only if devotees understand the meaning of Uma, Saraswati, Kali, Durga, Gayatri, Santhosi, Lakshmi, Amba and Vaishnav Devi, the so called Hindus (real name : Adi Sanatan Dharma) could perfrom wonders. Hmmm...

  • wonderful very powerful..and very well sung..!!

  • IMPRESSIVE!!!!

  • FYI - i have an inordinate amount of love and respect for Sri Paramesvara/Lord Shiva (Who spoke Radha Sahasranama).

  • "It is very confidential and difficult for ordinary human beings to understand, but if by chance a person fortunately understands it, he is immediately liberated, and thus he returns home, back to Godhead"

So while you may say you are a Hindu..

..and others would contend we follow Santana Dharma.

    I have faith in Bhagavata-dharma.

  • Who cares what you have faith in?

As long as the devotee of Shiva or whomever the Deva/Devi is knows that He/She isn't a separate entity from Krishna Himself, they will find peace.

  • bhagavad git chpt9 verses 22, 23 and 25

  • "Lord Brahmā, Bhagavān Nārada, Lord Śiva, the four Kumāras, Lord Kapila [the son of Devahūti], Svāyambhuva Manu, Prahlāda Mahārāja, Janaka Mahārāja, Grandfather Bhīṣma, Bali Mahārāja, Śukadeva Gosvāmī, and I myself know the real religious principle. My dear servants, this transcendental religious principle, which is known as bhāgavata-dharma, or surrender unto the Supreme Lord and love for Him, is un-contaminated by the material modes of nature. "

  • As far as hell is concerned

    Lord Yamaraja said

"svayambhūr nāradaḥ śambhuḥ kaumāraḥ kapilo manuḥ prahlādo janako bhīṣmo balir vaiyāsakir vayam dvādaśaite vijānīmo dharmaḿ bhāgavataḿ bhaṭāḥguhyaḿ viśuddhaḿ durbodhaḿ yaḿ jñātvāmṛtam aśnute"

    [SB 6.3.20]

  • And the Song Bhaja Govindam was from Adi Sankara Acarya.

"u can have a favorite god but shiva, vishnu, shakti, none are more powerful or better than the other. " Of course that is totally YOUR opinion. Given that you've even 'added' Shakti in YOUR interpretation of the Vishnu purana

  • And I looked up your quotation which definately wasn't in the Bhagavad Gita. (Given that the conversation is between Lord Krishna and Arjuna and told by Sanjaya, that was highly unlikely to begin with). I will have to take your word on the quote being in the Vishnu purana, as reliable as you have been so far.

  • Well my statements weren't born of my own opinion. They were quotations from

    Brahma Samhita

    Radha Sahasranama

    Vishnu Sahasranama

and a hari katha from Mahabharata.

  • It says in the bhagavat gita and the vishnu purana: "yo harih sa sivah saksad yah sivah sa svayam harih

ye tayor bhedamati sthan narakaya bhave nnarah " translation: "Whoever is Lord Hari, He Himself is Lord Shiva indeed.Whoever is manifesting as Lord Shiva, He Himself is Lord Hari. Any human being who mistakes both the Lords to be different, he/she surely goes to hell" so stop being ignorant and known that all the gods are on infinite Brahman.

  • harer nama harer nama harer namaiva kevalam kalau nasty eva nasti eva nasti eva gatir anyatha

  • Even Lord Siva's Trident took shelter of hari nama when faced in against the Sudarshana Chakra of Lord Krsna during Their battle in the Mahabharata.

  • shiva gave the sudharsha chakra to vishnu pleased with vishnu's devotion to him. go look it up. and im neither vaishanava nor shaivite, for ur info im a HINDU, all gods are the same. u can have a favorite god but shiva, vishnu, shakti, none are more powerful or better than the other.

  • @monaa59 You are right,

At least some one who nows what "Ekam sat wipro bahuda wadanti" is

    Jai Shakti Bhavani

  • ye'py anya-devata-bhakta

    yajante sraddhayanvitah

    te'pi mam eva kaunteya

    yajanty avidhi-purvakam

    BG chpt 9 verse 23

  • And SHE is our mother- so lets follow her example and "Bhaja Govindam"

  • Brahma Said - chintamani prakara-sadmasu kalpa-vriksha- laksavriteshu surabhir abhipalayantam , lakshmi-sahasra-shata-sambhrama-sevyamanam ,govindam adi-purusham tam aham bhajami . I worship Govinda, the Primeval Lord, the First Progenitor Who is tending the cows, yielding all desires, in abodes built with spiritual gems, surrounded by millions of purpose-trees, always served with great reverence and affection by HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS OF LAKSHMIS or Gopis.

  • Adi Sankara sang "bhaja Govindam" - "Worship Govindam, Worship Govindam, Worship Govindam, oh fool"

    .

  • Comment removed

  • @parvatyuvaca Adi Shankara also sang, "

    "Forgive me

    Oh, Shiva

    My three great sins!

I came on a pilgrimage to Kashi forgetting that, you are omnipresent.

In thinking about you I forgot that, You are beyond thought.

In praying to You I forgot that, You are beyond words."

  • Lord Siva himself said "Sri Rama Rama Rametyi Rame, Rame ManoRame, Sahasranama tatyulum Rama Nama Varanane"

  • Comment removed

  • @parvatyuvaca And Lord Rama worshiped the Shiv Ling to get Shankarji's blessing. He also worshiped Morther Durga for Her blessing. What's your point? Because if it's anything other than "worship God", then I think you're missing the point of Dharma itself.

  • On his bed of arrows grandfather Bhisma recited the Vishnu Sahranama (1000 names of Lord Vishnu) to Yudhisthira (not a 1000 names of other demigods.

  • I have to agree with ServeTruth2u. Sorry but it has nothing to do with what happybuddha33 believes. It has to do what Lord Siva himself says to Parvati "O beautiful Goddess, I hold a trident in my hand to destroy those who are envious of devotional service to Sri Hari. This fact I am telling you"

  • Comment removed

  • That's ONE scripture.

Lord Rama Himself almost took out one of His own eyes when he didn't have a lotus to put on the Shiva Lingam.

I worship and love Lord Krishna and Lord Shiva. They are One. I personally feel the Brahman more through Lord Shiva. Always has been that way...I've never sought material goods and frivolous things from Shankarji as he is removed from those things........

    smh....Vaishnavas....

  • bhagavad gita, srimad bhagavatam and brahma samita are not just one scripture.

I understand your point too...Lord Krsna acted as a charioteer for Arjuna, a messenger for the Pandavas, the Supreme Lord acted as a gatekeeper for Bali Maharaj to please Bali's grand father Prahalad. The Lord acts as a servant for those who love him.

  • Take the example of the best of the best....the best examples of devotion to Lord Krsna (Adi Purusam)/Sri Hari.......Lord Siva, Hanuman, Lakshmi devi/Sita devi/Gopis/Srimati Radha Rani, Veda Vyasadeva, Narada Muni, Pandavas, Prahalad Maharaj, Brahma, Valmiki, Bhrugu, Sukadeva, Bhisma etc

  • I never said they were one scripture. I was referring to your quote....and I know the stories of Lord Vasudev's avatars, thanks. lol

I still don't know you and other Vaishnavas insist on changing peoples ways of worship. Srila Prabhupada himself even said if the devotee of Lord Shiva understands the He and Krishna are one, then let that devotee worship Lord Shiva...as He is the top Vaishnava.

  • @parvatyuvaca Who's envious? I'm not. ServeTruth2u is though. He wants everyone to stop worshiping Mataji and only worship Krishna. That's envy. Shiv Bhagwan also held His trident to Death (Yamraj) itself when it tried to come for his devotee. Without devotion to Lord Shiva, Sri Rama said himself that no one could attain Him, not even in DREAMS. So yeah, go look up the definition of "envy" again.

  • OM Namo BHAGAVATE Vasudevaya!

  • Isvaraha Paramaha Krishnaya sacid ananda vigraha!

  • In the sense that they are expansions of Bhagavan Sri Krishna they ARE the same. However the benifits of worshiping Shiva or Kali are temporary . The same cannot be said of worshiping Krishna who is Supreme over ALL demigods[Devadeva]

  • If the benefit were only temporary, so many people wouldn't devote themselves. Obviously moksha can be attained through them. If the attraction is closer to Shiva or Kali for the devotee, so be it. It's no skin of Lord Krishna's back. In fact, I'm sure he'd prefer that than them being atheist. ;]

  • Also...I'm a non-dualist, so this whole "Krishna is Supreme over all" as if they devas are separate from each other doesn't really mean anything to me. =/

  • She is not Supreme.

  • She is to. =J

    MahaKali Mata ki...JAI!

  • Lord Bhagavan Sri Krishna is the Supreme Personality of Godhead.

  • there all the same. there is only one brahman. para brahman okate.

  • No they are NOT all the same! Krishna says that those who worship the demigods go to the planets of the demigods, not Goloka Vrndaban! If they were all the same there would be no need for their existance!

  • Dude, people have been worshiping Lord Shiva and Kali Maa longer than Lord Krishna.

Besides, God is God. Krishna is Saguna Brahman. Saguna Brahman encompasses all the devas...including Kali Maa, therefore, if she is invoked, then TRUTH is invoked and when Truth is invoked by the devotee, he/she progresses and eventually achieves moksha.

  • Yes ,ignorance of sastra has existed for a long time. People have also murdered since the beginning of time,,does nt make it right. Shiva and Kali can only bestow boons with Krishnas approval. Even Shiva and Kali themselves say this. Worshipping Shiva and Kali is for the unintelligent..this is clearly stated many times. They ARE NOT Supreme..this is my point! Their worship is for materialists,,not spiritualists. The masses are asses remember that.

  • Dude, "worshiping Shiva and Kali is for the unintelligent"? Seriously?...This is why I don't put myself around Gaudiya Vaishnavas....you may as well be a Christian if you're gonna play the theological "my way or the highway" card. UUUMM Shiva above all things is DETACHMENT from material things. Read any scripture about Him and it says so. Plus, LOOK at any murti of Him...He's not "material" anything. Yeah, a lot of the "masses" of westerners that run ISKCON are "asses" to me, but to each his own

  • can u upload full movie...plz

  • Vedas scriptures says the other part of GOD is SASKHTi like HIM indefinable

    This shows and prooves that.

    SR

  • Wrong! HE IS CLEARLY DEFINED...

  • nice

  • This song is really wonderful and brings out the energy in the dancers. The beat and lyrics are fantastic.

  • Jai Ma Kali Ma, Jai Durga Shakti. Shiv Maravan Jai Jaganatha. Slayer of the demons of deception, ignorance and illusion!

  • Jai Durga Shakthi

  • Thank you. I had the feeling it was her, but I wanted to be sure.

  • Can I be stupid and ask who they're praying to?

  • your mother.

    And I'm not being rude.

Probably d best devotional song eva.

thx for posting it denkum...god bless u.

  • u r simply great..(denkum)

thanks for posting these devotinal movies for us:D

  • Very nice! But devotion should not be blind or superstitious. Better combination of the Goddess in myths with the real goddesses in real life (as leaders and dynamic women) have to be made in movies! Dancing, drumming and singing is just one part of spirituality, but social and economic justice are equally important. They are not mutually exclusive. Listen to the oral traditions of India and some of the Devi Mahatmayi texts.

  • awesome!!!

  • Jai Maa Durge Jai Maa Shakti Jai Maa Kali

  • the goddess is angry bcos the husband of the woman singing is such a big bad villain, he killed another devotee Herself mercilessly and now plans to kill again a new one... so the woman is pleading the goddess not to kill her husband but yet the goddess is too angry to control it.... she is dancing in anger......
