  • sweet boat man

  • @bellboystudios i've surfed behind a malibu wakesetter vlx 2006 for around 20 minutes straight with a driver and a mate sitting at the back, still put out a perfect wake for it

  • what does a boat like that cost?

  • For those who think it's dangerous, yes! It is! But mainly if your boat is outboard or inboard/outboard. Modern boats and wakeboard are more commonly known to have what's called a v drive setup. The prop is completely UNDER the boat. Now unless he somehow falls n hits his face on the swim deck, he should be fine

  • @lovinher94 the only real dangerous thing about it is the hitting head on the swim deck or doing what i did and chucking the rope away and falling off into it and it wraps around your arm.. nearly lost my arm by doing so

  • Not to bad. can probably go a lil faster. take some weight out of the back and put it in the middle but on whatever side your surfing. how long is the VTX? like 19 ft

  • I don't see how you would need so much ballast to throw a wave that size. Have you tried using less weight or did you start small and have to add more? Im just curious because we have an 07' Nautique 210 and we use the stock tank on the preferred side and then only 420 more lbs in two fat sacs in the locker and on the back bench seat. At 10 mph our wave looks just like that. It stands waist high and is super steep, however it doesn't go as far back as a Centurion. So much weight just baffles me!

  • Where was this?

  • eagle nest lake?

  • Is it dangerous being so close to the boat? He might fall into the ass end of the boat some how. It just looks like he could.

  • I can see any appeal in doing this, your just going straight behind a boat with some little wave behind you. Dont get me wrong i enjoy other forms of watersports just wakesurfing seems a tad stupid and boring

  • Don P?

  • that doesnt look like 3350lbs... you add everything up right? because you should be sitting with the water past the rub rail, especially with a VTX since its only a 20 footer...

bump up the speed, make sure you have everyone sitting on the surfside, and have more weight in the back corner or bellyof the boat. use speed to lengthen the pocket, not excess weight up front.

  • You ever have problems with the bow taking a dip once and awhile? Happens to us all the time with our 07 VTX.

  • @SeeNanners dont powerturn..... let the rollers pass and then turn around....nopowerturns. com

  • @somebodyelse5 My dad doesn't have the patience.. hahaha. Thanks though, we'll try that next time.

  • your comparing a Mercedes to a Honda

  • ya centurion put out crzy good wakes

  • your comparing a Mercedes to a Honda

  • @e3budz not a chance.

different options and features dont make the wave....the hull and ballast do...

  • @rmz252 Enzo SV230 with over 2200lbs ballast in the back left corner alone, and then around 8 people in that same corner :) We had a wake that was not only steep, but crazy long! Our wake curls and is insanely fun to ride on.

  • how big is your board? 4.2?

  • lake done pedro is wat u meant.

  • Not bad for Malibu. Centurion Enzo will put a wake out like that with half the weight.

  • hahahahhah did you say Centurion Enzo hahahahah please malibu for life nukka!

  • @e3budz malibu's are sick, but for surfing MB sports boats kill it.

  • Nice wake for wakesurfing

  • Waow that's pretty awsome! :D

  • that is sick malibu 4 life

  • I think you need more weight in the bow. It will lengthen the wave.

  • she likes to dip under the water if i load the bow up to much. i already have 350 pound ballast up front. its good enough for me:)
