Shame it took so long for Bell to manufacture the P-63, it was essentially the plane they wanted to build in the first place(P-39), before the changing production requirements took away the turbo from the '39.
I volunteer at the Legacy Flight Museum and gave many tours. One of my favorite planes to show people was this kingcobra. We leave the front panel off so that you can see the cannon and machine guns in the nose. Also, Ole Yeller, the yellow P-51 in the beginning, is at the Legacy Flight Museum too and that is a pleasure to be around
The P-63 does the most graceful loops.

This P-63 can be seen at the Legacy Flight in Rexburg Idaho and the pilot/owner is John Bagley also owner of the museum
