I prefer Twitterrific. The UI is absolutely brilliant. It just doesn't get better. I also like that peek feature where you can look at tweets while composing. It has all the features I need, and it's all done really nicely.
I think Tweetie 2.0 is worth the £1.79 as well, definitely, I bought it because I wanted a twitter app with no adverts and that I had heard of, doubt I'll be changing any time soon.
on an Apple Note, Is it really worth for me to upgrade My Ipod touch 1st gen to the 3rd gen or just get the 2nd ? is there any differences Ill notice playing Games, surfing the web etc ?
erm - im not too sure. when i had the ipod touch 16gb 2nd gen back a few months ago - it was blazing fast. im not too sure whether the 3rd gen processor kicks in during heavy duty games i.e. fifa. i really never encountered any speed issues with the touch - dont know why they done this upgrade tbh.
Yeah Im with you on that, No camera and they've done away with the mid range 16GB Model so your basicly stuck with an 8gb or opt more than 200 quid for the 32GB
Get the 3rd gen 32GB version if you are in the market for a new iTouch. The 8GB 3rd gen has THE SAME hardware as the 2nd gen and is a rip off at it's current price. The 32 and 64GB 3rd gen has a faster processor, more on board memory (256MB) and twice the storage as the 16GB 2nd gen. Also the 32 and 64GB has OpenGL ES Version 2.0 which is important if you are into games and graphics (some games look better on the 3rd gen as opposed to the 2nd gen).

No themes in 2.0 is a huge mistake by Tweetie.....I need that dark theme.

I would think its the opposite. The higher the number, the BETTER it should be. However, in this case - Tweetie has the upperhand.

Well I was thinking that tweetie got good before twitterific i.e twitterific is older and not as good (yet)

yep deffo agree - tweetie has a lot of new features. but the good thing about twitterrific is that its FREE. thats the bonus for many.
