I have a question. These corgis seem very docile around other animals. i have a dog too, but he is a big ball of energy. But when I take him out for walks he bites on my heels. I don't know how to stop this behaviour! Would you know how to stop it?

Hi, that's easily fixed.

You just have him focus on his walk rather than your heel.

First, shorten the leash when you walk so he will not be able to wonder too much (this way he will be more focus) and his head will not be able to wonder around but to look up.

If you have a dog thats easily distracted, use words to keep him focus (example: lets go, come on, go go, etc) repeat this word when he wonders.

Stay focus yourself, keep the walk in fast pace, set a goal.. do not stop until you get there.

Yes, he loved Bear very much. Bear passed away last year.

You could try to introduce your bunny to your lab on daily basis. First hold the bunny close to you and have the lab sniff her several times. You must have a very calm energy doing this. Stop this exercise whenever your dog get too excited.

&Never leave your bunny alone.

Once you lab is used to the bunny, you can put the bunny down and let them sniff each other.

Do this meetings every day.

They will get used to each other :)

Hi, First you have to sit down with them together and introduce your bunny.

You have to monitor their meeting for a while. At least 6 months.

Let them meet several times a day.

Your corgi eventually will accept your bunny as a family member (and even then always give your bunny a place to hide, just incase).

Easiest would be making a video online using onetruemedia or if you have window movie maker or other program , you can use that also.

One true Media is the easiest one to use.

so those dogs are corgis. hmm my dog got similar face & color with kissy even looked like kissy, but it had taller feet and slimmer body, so i wonder if it mix breed of corgi & terrier. Kissy really look like my dog in your picture of "Bear's bodyguard", especially the fur in the neck & the smile. i missed her a lot she died because of disease at 13 yrs old. pretty old, but the day before she died SHE ATE A LOT and so energetic!! we pampered her because we knew she might died soon.

Actually it's pretty easy, you just have to be more consistent with bunnies.

First, don't move the cage around (bunnies like things the same)

If your bunny room is too big, you should make it smaller using panels gate/ long gate.

If your bunny does not pee/ poop in the cage all the time, I suggest you get a large plastic bin (that has short walls, so your bunny can jump in and out easily) and let them go potty there; because maybe your bunny doesn't want to go where it sleeps/ eat. Let me know

About Bear the bunny,

She is either a Holland Lop or Mini Lop

yes ...they do have some smell, but mostly is because their bedding is not being replace often enough.

If you replace the bedding very often (it can get expensive though), they don't really smell that much. They also groom themselves several times a day to keep clean. Do you have any pet t the moment ?

Hi there

It is not that hard actually.

Especially if the dog is a puppy, he/ she won't have any ill thought.

You have to train the corgis to see the rabbit as their sibling, and they will protect the rabbit as their own.

Do not ever let your new dog to play rough housing with the rabbit. Always supervise them at playtime and remind your dog constantly.

Even if the corgi is older, it will just take longer to train. Everything is possible !

I got all the dogs first.

Bear was not afraid actually... Skye was confused, Kissy was trying to get Bear, and Molley was just chilling ... lol.

I then take Bear out 2 - 3 times a day and supervise them @ play times.

After .. about 1 month they got used to each other... and they play nicely together now.

Although Skye got too excited and act to harsh sometimes.

I have two lionhead bunnies that are brother and sister and they get a long very well. Often, they have to sleep together. I should make a video of it sometime.

Very sweet! You might want to switch the pellet food to something like Oxbow timothy, seed can cause gastrointestinal stasis in rabbits. I know because my bunny got it, it was very scary.

The dogs were way too excited at first when they met Bear.

Bear never knew that she was any different than the dog. She thought that she is a dog herself. lol.... she seemed to be uneasy though that the dogs have bigger room.

And I just took Bear out twice a day and have her roam around. I supervised all of the dog's movements until they were calm around Bear and treated her like another dog.

I still watch them from far when they play together. But, they know they are family now =P

Maverick has recently been growling at him -.-' and the both of them try to chase him when they're outside :( Someday...hopefully..they'll take a tap together lol

At first Skye and Kissy also chased Bear. They were also growling at Bear and each other.

I had to supervise them the whole time to make sure no one gets hurt..lol

Now they know that Bear is part of the family and they even groom her, but it doesn't happen in a day.

When U have spare times to supervise, just take Zen out to meet Maverick and Cameron on regular basis (4 a short time)

Don't let them out of your sight and U have to teach both doggies 2 be gentle to Zen.

But yeah, they are always supervised when Zen comes out. In the house, the dogs don't care too much about him. But since Zen is so curious, he often sticks his nose in their face, which Maverick doesn't like. Cameron doesn't mind it anymore. Maverick used to try and lick Zen, but he would do it on his mouth where it's sensitive and Zen would run away lol. He'll take a swipe at them if he is really bothered though heh
