It came in unannounced about three weeks ago - one of the first aircraft in the skies following the all clear after the 'ash cloud'. Came for Kinloss I believe.

Slim and sleek, and that colour scheme adds to an impression of efficiency - like a bullet! At a distance and on approach, those wing-tip lights give the appearance of a much larger aircraft - wings seem to go on forever!

That is a good looking MD-80 right there.. on approach the aircraft looked amazing. I love how the clean wings spread out of the fuselage.. topped by a proportionate tail and flanked by two JT8D's. The MD-80 looks great, I wish it would get reincarnated in the 737NG (or RS) or the A3xx.
