I like it how they always advertise that nice cheap price in the 80's! you'd never see them advertise the price on them these days so happily like that! expensive kents!
For once, I just want to see a fat guy advertising McDonald's with tears of self loathing stream down while stuffing his fat face. That would really hit home for me, I think. Let's see that fucker jump up and down for joy. He can't.
@LDNprincess Well so am I, and everyone I know pronounces it "fill-it-o-fish" . And I have tried it once calling it fillay through the drive through, and the girl asked me to repeat myself because she didn't know what I was saying.
@AidanNagolxxx mmmm, ok no need to get your knickers in a twist...where I worked we called in Fillay o fish, potato potahto, we just say it different ways.
Mcdonalds has a deal now where you can get a BIg Mac and a Regular fries for $2 !! Adding a drink comes in at $3.80something.. if course its just a promotion and need a coupon, but still - is similar to their deal back then
there so much better then those stupid two guys knock into each other at the front of line and go you go first, no you go first, OKAY!!!!!!!!!!! that commercial was more american
I remember when I was a kid the happy meal toy was the container it came in, it was normally shaped like a boat or a car or somthing then you got some stickers inside to stick on it.
Ahhh yes those old foam hamburger covers that did actually help to keep your burger warm! but then they found out that they aren't good for your health!
I think they stopped using foam because of the CFC's effect on the ozone hole? These days, almost every burger (in Queensland at least) comes in paper boxes.
I am in china at the moment and Big Macs are just under $2 Aus. and they have the Mac Tonight dude ads for 24hr. I also brought a set of Styrofoam containers from ebay a few years ago and have them in storage. Thats about the closest I can get to a time machine!
McDonald food tasted WAY better then. And scarblade234 is right, The Big Mac's WERE bigger. I remember that.
