Excellent vid. Thanx 4 uploading and sharing the truth of His gospel.
I will follow Christ as He has commanded because I love Jesus Christ. It is so sad that ppl say that they love Jesus but refuse to folllow Him, so sad! I have seen some vids that are so untrue and so confusing, They have taken Christ's gospel and distorted it completely. So sad because some are being deceived by these lies and led astray from God. I see heart ache for the ones that are deceived, we need to pray for them.
@getsupercharged The Bible also says in Psalms that God takes our sin away as for as the ast is from the west. This tells that the earth is round, because if you go east forever on a globe, you will always go east and never start going west. But if you go north forever, you will eventually start going south once you pass the north pole. That's how that verse tells how the earth is round.
@PockyStarPokemon With respect, this is not a literal description of the shape of the earth. There are many things described in the bible that do not accurately describe our world. Sorry, but it's true. The difference between these biblical stories and the scientific method is that science uses precise definitions and concise language to describe that which it observes so as to accurately communicate and preserve knowledge. Accuracy actually IS important. Cheers.
@PockyStarPokemon I'll simplify: Psalms 103:12 does not "describe" a round earth. Further, Psalms 96:10 actually does attempt to describe a condition of the earth, which is false: "He has fixed the earth firm, immovable..." Clearly, the earth is hurtling through space. Need I mention that there are many biblical references such as psalms 96:10 above to a Geocentric model, which is also false. Cheers!~
In all recorded history the earth has been in an immovable & fixed orbit, but if you look at Ps 96:10, which you cite, it isn't talking about the condition of the physical earth at all:
"Say among the heathen that the LORD reigneth: the world also shall be established that it shall not be moved: he shall judge the people righteously."
Chapter 96 is affirming God's righteous judgement and His salvation in establishing His Kingdom when He comes a second time.
@Nirky Ok, "all recorded history".....uh, no. "All recorded history" does not reference a creator willing the earth to DO anything. Immovable? I see, so if a foreign body from outside our solar system were to come and collide with earth it would stay put? Hardly. Let's try Psalm 104:5...why do all the biblical references talk about a "foundation" but not "orbit"...that would lend some credibility to the claim. The earth IS in orbit but NOT immovable (see Japanese earthquake shifts axis).
"Say among the heathen that the LORD reigneth: the world also shall be established that it shall not be moved: he shall judge the people righteously." Ps 96:10
When God uses the phrase "it shall not be moved" He is referring to something or someone that is safe & protected; sure, because of Him.
"I have set the LORD always before me: because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved." Ps 16:8
the Catholic Church and many other Christian cults are built on law keeping and following, to argue against them is to argue against their Church which they would consider to be discrimination.
The New Testament of the Bible condemns all the lawyers and their kind from the beginning to its end.
To hell with them is the theme of the NT. Let them be "Anathema".
Paul in Romans ch 7--and all over his writings--talks about God's law, "the law of God" (v22), the law which Paul preaches Jesus expects we keep, the transgression of which is called "sin".
Which law is this that Paul tell us is the law of God, the law all who are Christ's keep?
I was walking through a field, floated above my body, floated back into my body and INSTANTLY knew Jesus Christ. That's when the Holy Spirit entered me and I was saved.
Wow, this SOUNDS important, & I'm sure you fool millions of gulible Christians into listening to you...but the fact is..Christ rose from the dead on SUNDAY. He instituted the Holy Spirit on SUNDAY. He ascended to heaven on SUNDAY. Sunday is now the fullfillment of the SABBATH. Christ didn't change He FULFILLED. SDAs & E. White came up with this garbage after Jesus didn't return in 1844. (the great disapp) She and others came up with "lying visions" of Ms. White which they use to corrupt others.
"Therefore the Son of man is Lord also of the Sabbath." Mark 2:28
The seventh Day is Jesus' Day, the Lord's Day (Rev 1:10), because it identifies Him as both our Creator (Gen 2:2-3) and our Redeemer (Heb 4:1-11).
The importance about the resurrection is that He ROSE! Concerning Sunday sanctity, neither Jesus nor any Bible writer teaches ANYTHING about it's importance.
If Jesus is our Lord and Savior, we will keep His Day, the Sabbath, His 4th Commandment, the Lord's Day. God bless.
@Nirky Oh, really? Than why not celebrate Passover, for it was to be a "perpetual ordinance for yourselves and your descendants" and all the other statutes that God "commanded"? The blatherings of SDAs remind me of what Our Lord says to the pharisees.."you shut the doors on The Kindom of God in mens faces, neither entering yourselves nor admitting those who are trying to enter." We all need to do what JESUS commanded. Not what some lady at the turn of the 20th century had to say.
The Passover was one of the meat & drink offering sabbath ORDINANCES (Col 2:14-17, Eph 2:15) of the book of the law, the law of Moses, which shadowed the real substance, Christ as our Passover (1 Cor 5:7).
Those sacrificial ORDINANCES all were shadows (Heb 10:1) which pointed forward to deliverance from sin (breaking the Ten, 1 Jn 3:4) by way of Jesus' atoning perfect sacrifice.
The Lord's Day is never called a shadow, because Jesus made the Sabbath for man in a perfect, sinless world.
@thescorpionking2020 Christ is Lord of the Sabbath. Not man. To come up with the idea 1800 years after Christ died that all of the sudden the vast majority of Christians are wrong about the way they worshipped for almost 2000 is ludicrous. Oh, so they're "ordinances" not laws? Says who,? E. White?.. Which perfect sinless world? Jesus came here to planet earth which is far from perfect or sinless. You spread hate and condemnation of others while calling them "retarded". Christs message was love.
That's right, Jesus says He is Lord of the Sabbath Day. That's why it is His Day, the Lord's Day, because it id's Him as both our Creator and redeemer, One who sanctifies us:
"Moreover also I gave them my sabbaths, to be a sign between me and them, that they might know that I am the LORD that sanctify them." Ezk 20:12
To understand the difference between the abolished ceremonial ordinances (Eph 2:15) like Passover and God's Commandments (Mark 10:19), do a Bible search on the two words.
@bheadh if u are a christian then u believe dat all other religions are false,dat means hindus who hav been here for 5000 years r wrong,buddhists r wrong,jews r wrong everybody else is wrong 2 this seems to be modre ludicrous than what u r proposing,u christian god came into actions just 5000 years ago,majority of d humans hav always worshipped false gods as u say and stil do,ur arguement does not prove anything,the cult of zeus lasted 1500 years so what,dont make such stupid arguements
@bheadh people who spread vile disgusting ideas like eternal torture for innocent people just for not believing in d right god need to be condemned and ridiculed,people who wish for d death and destruction of entire humanity need to b condemned and thr vile ideas treated as toxic and poison
@thescorpionking2020 Eternal punishment for the un-godly is just about in every religion. So your "condemnation" is pretty much universal. I don't condemn anyone, They do that to themselves. You talk about toxic poison yet your name is "scorpion". Your rambling message says alot about you.
@bheadh no who told u dat,buddhism,hinduism do not say dat if u dont agree with them u r tortured forever in hell,as an atheist all i can say dat u r deluded basing ur life on a fairytale dats d maximum i can say,i dont wish dat u b tortured forevr for not agreeing with me,all i can say is dat u wasted ur entire life on a myth,dats it i dont wish anything bad for u,nor do i wish for d destruction of humanity like christians and muslims do,so ur entire arguement stands nowhr
@bheadh religion is a poison and ur religion is a fairytale,its wrong about evrything,humans dont come from adam and eve,abraham,moses,adam and eve,noah,cain and abel r all myths none of them ever existed,they r fairytales for children,jesus is santa claus for adults,try praying to jesus or to any other god ,d end result wud b d same nuthing,thr is no god and d earlier we realise it d better it is for our species in d long run,otherwise religion wud continue to poison our lives
A circle is NOT a sphere. If you thought the Earth was flat, what shape would you think it was? A square? A rectangle? How about a trapezoid or a parallelogram?
No, a circle is the most natural shape and that's why people though it was a circular DISC!
jesus might have been real but he isn't some legend they all make him out to be religion is a fairytale that got out of hand ps.. i shit on allah's face for fun :D

"And I testify again to every man who becomes CIRCUMCISED that he is a debtor to keep the whole law." Gal 5:3
Some wanted to go back to circumcision--a ceremonial sacrificial law of the book of the law, as an attempt to justify themselves by what they did. But Paul shows justification is ONLY through faith in Christ:
"For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision avails anything, but FAITH working through love". Gal 5:7.
@Nirky We are not justified by keeping the law or sabbath but by Jesus. But there is nothing wrong and, it is encouraged by God, that we continue to not only live by them but have a heart that doesn't think they are burdensome.
@j919or Yes I agree. We are dead to the law in that like someone calling to a dead person to do something we don't respond to the written law in the same way. However, we are alive to God. When He tells us to do something we respond out of love and relationship. After we respond to Him out of love, not burden, we can look back and realize that some of the things we did fulfill the law. Others may think we are legalistic, but we were just responding in the Spirit. For example, forgiving enemies.
@messianicreformer ""Others may think we are legalistic, but we were just responding in the Spirit. ""
THat is the key. And Rom14 says to do it as unto the LOrd and dont preach that others should follow your path. Set ur mind on the Spirit and let the Spirit of Christ live ur life. Nothing less is pleasing to God
@Nirky ""ceremonial law of Moses is Paul's subject""
Nah ur all wrong. Rather circumcism is the sign of a law keeper. SO to be circumcised is a step towards becoming identified as a lawkeeper. Notice that no other ceremonial laws are listed but circumcision.
Now nobody is justified by keeping ANY law, even God's Ten Commandments:
"Therefore by the deeds of the law no flesh will be justified in His sight, for by the law is the knowledge of sin." Rom 3:20
The law of God (Rom 7:22), His Ten Commandments, show us what constitutes sin:
"On the contrary, I would not have known sin except through the law. For I would not have known covetousness unless the law had said, “You shall not covet"". Rom 7:7.
Paul is obviously NOT telling the Galatians to stop keeping the Ten Commandments, because Paul himself says breaking the Ten Commandments, such as coveting, is SIN (Rom 7:7), and nobody living a sinful lifestyle will inherit eternal life (see also Rom 6:1-4):
"...nor thieves, nor COVETOUS, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God." 1 Cor 6:10.
Coveting is a deed of the flesh. Trying to keep the commands feeds the flesh and produces more coveting and all kinds of evil. You Nirky are a tool of satan and evil and disgusting in that you would have people attempt to be righteous by keeping the law.Paul said that believers are dead to the law and alive to Christ.
He doesnt specify which type of law and so its logical that he means ALL of the law. Obviously Nirky has not the Spirit and is lost Rm8,9
"Trying to keep the commands feeds the flesh and produces more coveting and all kinds of evil."
No, that's not what Scripture says.
When we sin (sin=breaking God's law, the Ten Commandments (Rom 7:22, 1 Jn 3:4, Rom 7:7, James 2:11) like coveting, THAT makes it easier and easier to be covetous, easier to live a sinful lifestyle and be content with it.
Pretty soon even God's clear word becomes so muddled that such who live that sinful lifestyle call good evil and evil good. Isa 5:20.
@Nirky ""When we sin (sin=breaking God's law, the Ten Commandments ""
Nah. Dont believe this. This one is deceived. The flesh cant produce any good. Set ur mind on the Spirit and let Him take CONTROL of u. If the Spirit isnt in control than you are and you will only resist the Spirit by ur attempts to do good in ur own efforts and will yield a crop of evil/the deeds of the flesh. The law of the Spirit sets us free from the Mosaic law.Rm8.1-3
"For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:
That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit." Rom 8:3-4.
We of ourselves, by our own human power and weak sinful nature, can not fulfill the righteousness of God's law.
@Nirky ""can not fulfill the righteousness of God's law.""
The law is to love God and love one another. The sabbath is a shadow of what was to come and is now. We are to rest every day of the weak as the power of God works thru us and lives His life thru us. The sabbath is to teach us not to get in Gods way but chill out and trust God. ie. Manna
Jesus came and lived a perfect, sinless life, HAVING OUR SAME WEAK HUMAN NATURE--He was drawn to do sin, just like we are, yet He overcame by the Spirit, condemning sin in the flesh! He overcame while in our weak flesh!
This means you and I can overcome by that SAME power by His Spirit, to fulfill the righteous requirement of His law IN OUR WALK with Him! Good news indeed, for those who endeavor to follow Christ.
@Nirky Yeah, Nirky thats it. Its so simple. We dont need the law just ask Jesus to take control of your life. The commands of the NT are meant to be declarations of His will and give us a heads up on the direction that he will lead us and empower us to walk.
"That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit." Rom 8:4
If we are Christs, if we have His Spirit in us, our walk, our lifestyle, is in accordance with His righteous law, His Ten Commandments. Rom 7:22, 1 Jn 3:4, Rom 7:7, James 2:11. Those who are led by His Spirit fill full the righteousness of His law, because the Spirit leads them in a lifestyle away from sin.
This Paul contrasts with those who are "in the flesh", those who do not have His Spirit and consequently do not keep His law, but look rather to fulfill their fleshly desires:
"For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.
For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace." v5-6
@57blanks I agree! God gives us so much freedom, for only what is not from faith, is sin. If you have faith to eat meat, unkosher or not, pork or not, or work on the sabbath and God is not convicting you, praise God. In fact, I would say that often the Spirit is telling us to work, walk or heal etc... on the sabbath. I thank God there are medical Doctors working on Saturdays and Sundays. I thank God that recently, He has by His Spirit told me to feel free to not work on Sat. but to preach &pray
Jews wrote the Bible. They wrote it to suit themselves then it was re-written at least ten more times by various groups and governments. What we call the inspired word of God is not! It is the work of man diluting the words of God to suit themselves. Organized religion you are the ones responsible for the loss of the true Bible and it's true meaning.
"Jews" did not write the bible. If you would have read the Bible you would know that.
Some of the books of the Bible were written by Hebrews. Some books written by Israelites. Some books were written by Jews.
There is a really, really big difference between these names. Educate yourself and stop spreading nonsense. If atheism is going to replace theism in the public mind then we need to attack it head on with truth, not half truths.
@GsliMaIiy, even if Jesus was resurrected on the first day of the week, no where did Jesus command us to keep that day as the day of rest. Isaiah 58:13 calls the Sabbath 'the holy of the Lord' so John in Revelation was talking about the Sabbath. Jesus mentioned that he is Lord of the Sabbath. Acts 20 talks about a gathering that went late into Sunday evening about raising funds for the Christians in Jerusalem. No where is there any mention of a religious service or gathering behind held.
@GsliMaIiy, further to my previous comment, there are over 80 references to the Sabbath in Acts, the same day that Paul and the apostles kept. Hebrews 4 talks about a day of rest for the people of God on the 7th day, not the 1st day. Please check parts 1, 2 and 3 of the Youtube video entitled Is Sunday The Christian Sabbath?What Day Is The Lord's Day?Who Changed The Sabbath? produced by Presents of God ministry. Part 3 is quite relevant. Videos from that ministry can be found at john1429.org.
The Father raised Jesus on the first day of the week, His resurrection was early Sunday morning. Mark 16:9 shows this.
Now, the disciples worshiped every day, both in the temple, and house to house (Acts 2:46, 5:42), and there is one scripture when Paul visited Troas that he was long speaking and spoke well past Sabbath into the first day of the week (Acts 20:7), yet I can't find a teaching anywhere in the Bible that the first day of the week is now a new holy day.
Paul, who wrote a full HALF of the New Testament, like our Lord Jesus, kept the 4th commandment seventh day Sabbath, as was his custom (Luke 6:46, Acts 17:2). Concerning the first day of the week, Paul never taught a word about it.
Indeed, the Holy Spirit goes to lengths to tell us that Paul and all the early Church, both Jews AND Gentiles, worshiped on the Sabbath according to God's 4th commandment. Acts 13:14, Acts 13:42, Acts 13:44, Acts 16:13, Acts 17:2, Acts 18:4.
There is no teaching anywhere in scripture for Sunday sanctity, and the usual explanation people give to try and promote Sunday sanctity is that since Jesus rose from the dead on the first day of the week, we ought to celebrate His resurrection every first day of the week.
So did Paul and the early church believe and teach this?
"Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life." Rom 6:4
"buried with Him in baptism, in which you also were raised with Him through faith in the working of God, who raised Him from the dead." Col 2:12
Paul teaches that the early church commemorated His death & resurrection by the ordinance of BAPTISM!
So Paul never taught anything regarding sanctity of the first day of the week, which was the resurrection day. Certainly if not Jesus, it would be Paul who would teach about any new doctrine for the early church, but Paul is silent concerning any first day of the week teaching.
We DO find the Lord Jesus has a Day (Rev 1:10)! Certainly as it is the Lord's Day, it is a Day important to Him, and therefore if we love Him, it should be to us. So which is this Day?
"For the Son of Man is Lord even of the SABBATH." Matt 12:8
"Therefore the Son of Man is also Lord of the SABBATH." Mark 2:28
"And He said to them, “The Son of Man is also Lord of the SABBATH." Luke 6:5
If we are to believe what our Lord Jesus says--and not the vain reasoning of men--the same 4th commandment Sabbath that Jesus and Paul and all the early church in Acts kept IS the Lord's Day!
Remember the Sabbath and keep it holy. 6 days shall thy labor and do all thy work but the SEVENTH day is the Sabbath of the Lord thy God. God's words not mine. You can choose to ignore it and make up your own traditions and rationalizations but you are not following God's law but man's. Choose ye this day whom ye shall serve will it be God or will it be man? God gives us all free will and you are free to choose your own salvation.
Let's see if I have this right..... Jesus was crucified on Friday before passover started. He arose on the third day (Sunday) from the dead. Where was Christ on the Seventh Day....... in the grave (Hell). What a glorius day his resurrection (Sunday) was
it just goes to show that Jesus kept the sabbath even at his cruxifiction. You can't get away from the fact that Saturday is the 7th day God made it holy. When you worship God on Sunday you do so in vain. If you love God you will kep his commandments and not the traditions of man. End of story. God never changed the day period.
@ejhibbs >>' He who is without sin, let him cast the first stone'. Christ was DEAD, in the GRAVE on the second day (Saturday) and arose (on the third day) VICTORIOUS on the Sunday >>> which is the day that I and Millions upon Millions worship our Risen Savior. GOD BLESS YOU, have a great eternity (:>
they know he is alive and is with them, every moment of every day and just as the disciples would die for what they believe because they know him to be alive.
I could go on but these are just a few reasons why I believe. Jesus is my proof that was visible and is still with me today. I can't say what you need to see or hear that will speak to you, i can only share what i believe and know in my heart. I pray that you will search with a willing heart.
Suddenly these frightened men became bold proclaimers of the risen Lord and eventually died for their beliefs. They couldnt and wouldnt stop proclaiming and preaching of his resurrection. Nothing could stop this movement.
Not only did they see jesus risen again, jesus also promised he would live in the heart of his followers. This is why no true believer can be shaken from what they know not even at the face of death.
So the question now is not whether he existed but whether he was who he said he was.
He came and died on the cross shedding his blood for our sins and rose again the third day according to the scriptures.
Over 500 people saw him after his resurrection. The disciples lives were transformed from one of fear that they would wind up dead like jesus so much so that they locked themselves in a room.
you mentioned that God cannot be proven because he cannot be seen but Jesus was the revelation of God to mankind. He was God in the flesh.
Man always used to question whether jesus existed but now with overwelming evidence even outside of the scriptures tell how a man named jesus existed. They tell how he was a great teacher and how he died by crucifixion.
The bible was written by many diferent many different authors over a long period of time and shares not only an accurate representation of the history of the jewish people but also the prophecies written there in have never failed to come to pass.
The bible also speaks of a man named jesus. He alone fulfilled around 300 prophecies written long before his birth.
We spoke a fair bit on the world but I haven't quite shared why I believe. There are a few different reasons.
First reason is what we've already spoke about. Creation. I see his hand all around me in everything ever created. For reasons already mentioned and more.
Your idea of logic consists of "something intelligent being made from something unintelligent". Something complex being created by chance when not even an intelligent person can create it. Your logic consists of putting a bunch of material into a pile, blowing it up, and in a million years create a functioning building with no help. How is that logical? To me thats illogical.
If the things in our world need to be designed by an intelligent designer, then why not the world?...
especially when the world and all the animals and people in it are much more complex than anything we have ever designed? What you believe isn't logic.
In regards to God, he has always existed. There was never a point in history that he didn't exist. He didn't randomly appear, he is and always was, and always will be. Again though, faith is more realistic than the option you are giving.
Actually, it takes more faith to believe in evolution than in a designer.
There is one problem that you are avoiding and refusing to address. How can something complex be created by chance(without intelligence), when something intelligent can't create something as complex through design?
When you look at a fully operational building, you know there is a designer because nothing happens randomly or by chance, especially not something which contains so complex a design. You know a building had a designer due to the complex nature of it, same with us
This world was made by his hands, the world, just as a building does, reveals the creators work. A painting reveals the creative mind, creative design of the artist, and the world does the same of God. This is his work, and your proof.
Just because something can't be measured, doesn't mean it doesn't exist. We can see the effects of God in his creation though. I read something earlier, and thought you might be interested in giving it a read:
A bird called the Blackpoll Warbler has been tracked flying from Alaska to New England and then out over the Atlantic, catching the Jet Stream back to South America, then flying back all the way to Alaska every year.
If somebody asked US to construct a flying machine that can fly from Alaska to New England to South America and back unaided, could we? But suppose they also asked us to make it weigh less than one ounce, like the bird. Could we? And nothing may touch it to build it--it must build itself, because that is what the Blackpoll Warbler does in its egg, doesn't it? Feathers, dual TV cameras, flight computer and all. From a speck in an egg. Would we even try?
Could the US government? The entire University system, with an impressive array of bright students, knowledgeable professors and able administrators? All those advanced human brains combined, connected together by the Internet? No? So how much sense does it make to say that blind, unthinking Chance just "accidentally" did so through blind, unthinking evolution?
My young school friend pointed out that since we have about 100 trillion cells in our body and each has about
5 feet of DNA, that makes about 100 trillion times 5 feet, or 100 billion times 5000 feet (about a mile), or 100 billion miles of perfect code that is required to make us a body that works. Since the characters (the "letters") that that code is "printed" in are actually the size of molecules, that makes a lot of "typing" to give us a body. Could we type that much without making a mistake? Could random chance?
Another thing. Ever tried to swat a fly? Not necessarily easy, right? Know why? It has to do with the fly's navigational system. It has a single vibrating rod in its abdomen, and as it changes direction in flight, it senses the changes in the vibrations of that rod and is able to dodge you, fly and land upside down and backwards. What would the Air Force pay to have flying and navigational systems that good?
How did the fly manage to evolve such a system? Even if it evolved a flopping rod, what good would it be without the muscles to vibrate it? And the unusual vibrating motion? And the nerves to send the signals from the rod to the brain? And the section of the brain to interpret the signals? And the correct instructions to interpret them? And the correct instructions to the part of the brain that controlled the wings as to what to DO about those signals? All AT THE SAME TIME.
ALL USELESS UNTIL COMPLETE, giving natural selection no advantage to select during all the early "developmental stages". Wouldn't that be a remarkable coincidence? I ask people, "Could YOU sit down, right now, and write the code for such a set of instructions? And if your ten billion well trained and coordinated neurons put together can't do it with an education and a computer, is it really sensible to think that flies did it by themselves?"
The fly has a complete navigational system that is self-constructing (in its egg), self-reproducing, self-programming, self-correcting, that can fly upside down and backwards, avoiding dangers and locating and recognizing fuel (food), that requires even MORE entire, completely developed systems that even large groups of highly educated humans cannot or are only now beginning to be able to copy (and only by intelligent design), all microminiaturized into a space smaller than
the head of a pin, with the code for it in characters that are the size of molecules (I wonder how many characters per inch that works out to? Pretty hi-tech data storage).
So I ask people, "In your experience, how many complete flying and navigational systems do you know of that have happened completely by accident, with no intelligent thought or design?" "Did you ever read the story of all the thought and work needed to design and build a flying machine
, as told by the Wright brothers themselves? So how scientific is it to say that it just happened by blind accidents in the case of the lowly, incredibly complex fly?"
All of the animal and plant world is full of examples like these. Your body is, too. Johns Hopkins University made the newspapers by making one enzyme. It must have been pretty hard to do. It was no accident. But your liver manufactures over nine hundred enzymes, all necessary for you to live, and no one thinks
about putting THAT in the paper, or giving credit for that accomplishment to the One who deserves it. "Could have happened completely by accident" (which is what evolution equates to, isn't it?) But if 900+ enzymes could happen so easily, simply by accidents of evolution, then why put the university in the news because it was able to produce ONE?"
--END OF QUOTE--
There are many wondful complex things in his creation that reeks of a designer, and no way that it could just evolve or happen by..
Even if there was a big bang, the material that caused it would have had to come from somewhere. So it begs the question, can something be made from nothing?
The world is full of his awesome creation that in no way could have happened by chance, it shouts "theres a designer". This is why man is without excuse when they say they don't believe.
I mean if you put a bunch of wood and other material into a pile, and blow it up, what are the chances if we came back in a million years, that it would have been constructed into a huge multi-level, fully functioning building with electricity, and running water? Enough to support hundreds of people?
I don't think any of us would say that is feasible, would we? Wouldn't we laugh and go, ya right? So if we don't believe that to be possible, how can one believe that a world more complex than a building, humans and animals more complex than a building blueprint, happened by chance?
We can't deny the existence of a designer, even if you don't want to believe in God, the proof of his existence is in YOU, its in the animals, the birds and the bees. That is your measure my dear friend, and its...
Another angle to view this from is: If the smartest human in the world can't do it, can't create something so complex, how can the world(without intelligence) design itself?
The bible has been used in scientific research, especially in archaeology. Nothing in science has ever disproved anything in the bible. Most who go out to disprove the bible, end up believing it.
You said: "Science: Earth took few billions of years to develope before origin of human" so teaches the theory of evolution. How did the universe get started? What started it? What was before it?
Basically, you don't have to see something to know it exists, nor do you have to see something to know what it can do, even you have just admitted to that, whether you want to call something natural, or supernatural makes no difference.
Either something can be proven while it can't be seen, or it has to be seen to be proven. Question, who made the world?
You were the one who said that the world can't prove God because he's never been seen, yet, you are telling me science can prove wind when its never been seen.
Either something can be proven when it can't be seen, or it has to be seen to be proven. Which is it?
Your excuse was that the world can't prove him because he's never been seen, so I refuted that with the same logic that you presented to me. Now you are telling me that science can prove wind and oxygen when neither have been seen, so using that logic, the world can indeed prove God even though he can't be seen.
The bible hasn't always existed, but believers of the one true God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob have always been around since time began. He has proven himself to them, and they have accepted what he has shown them.
The world itself is so complex that it has to have a designer. If even one thing was off, this world wouldn't be able to sustain life. It is just the right distance away from the sun, and everything was perfectly balanced that it shouts it's designers name.
No doubt you've seen what i'm about to say, but I'm gonna say it anyway for not just your benefit, but others as well. You can't "see" wind, but you can see what it does. You can't see "oxygen", but you know that it's beneficial for survival, your survival.
You don't need to see something to know it's there. You don't need to see something to know what it can do. He may not be walking on earth in visible form today, but you can see his wonderful works:)
He was seen though, seen by many, seen by thousands. His name is Jesus, and he came to this earth just over 2000 years ago. There is much evidence for his existence, and no reason not to believe. Pride prevents us from seeing what we need to see.
We don't have to "prove" his existence. The world is his proof. The world declares his glory and majesty.
Romans 1:20 - From the time the world was created, people have seen the earth and sky and all that God made. They can clearly see his invisible qualities--his eternal power and divine nature. So they have no excuse whatsoever for not knowing God.
5 is good, but it is also a being used as a bribe to let them keep the land.
6,7,8 & 9 Are the best, but predate moses by a long way. Most Societies, religious or secular, had and still have these. They are necessary for the survival of all societies, secular or religious.
10 This is good, we shouldn't want what belongs to someone else, but it's threatening punishment for thinking wrong thoughts. (Mind control?)
He keeps on saying When god did this and when god did that. etc.
There is no evidence that god did anything or that he even exists.
He should be prefacing his words with:
"It is my opinion That......."
It never ceases to amaze me how religious people make bold statements without any evidence both in print and in the media of the type that would be justly condemned by them if a scientist made similar claims regarding unproven scientific ideas.
Writing words are not evidence; we need evidence, artifact, document, and physical body to prove the past history. This bullshit is bullshit and the people that believe only writing are also bullshit, that need to go to prison for be dumb human begin. Give me evident or shut fuck up you gullible ugly monkey.
1 And after these things I saw four angels standing on FOUR CORNERS OF THE EARTH, holding the four winds of the earth, that the wind should not blow on the earth, nor on the sea, nor on any tree. (KJV)
When it comes to scientific claims, the Bible has the dumbest claims, with all due respect to Jews and Christians. The Bible claims that Earth has four ends and four corners. Nobody can ever think a ball or a cycle to have corners and ends! Only flat items can have corners and ends, and this is exactly what the bible is trying to express regarding the shape of the earth. The earth is not flat, as once thought and it has no corners or ends at all.
It you believe the change was made by Constantine and not the pope, please refer me to the history book, but either way the Sabbath was changed from Sabbath to Sunday and you may want to consider keeping God's true day of worship. God bless.
There was a man who despised Seventh - day Adventists and wanted to proved them wrong for keeping the 7th day Sabbath instead of Sunday. After a desperate search of the Scriptures he found no such change. He turned to the history books to see how Sunday became the Christian day of worship. He found the truth. He found that the Catholic Church made the change. I wish everyone will do like that man and search the truth for themselves. If you truly the Lord you do the same.
Did constantine or the pope change the sabbath day? If it was constantine, it wasn't the pope. If it was constantine, it wasn't the catholic church. One must also take into account, the numerous christians who were gathering on sunday prior to constantine, back in the days of Justin Martyr. Gathering on sunday wasn't a new institution given by the catholic church.
@Myhopeisinhim Most Christians assume that Sunday is the biblically approved day of worship. The Catholic Church protests that it transferred Christian worship from the biblical Sabbath (Saturday) to Sunday, and that to try to argue that the change was made in the Bible is both dishonest and a denial of Catholic authority. If Protestantism wants to base its teachings only on the Bible, it should worship on Saturday." Rome's Challenge
The interesting thing is that worship is allowed on all days. While certain days may have had a more specific meaning regarding the feasts of the Lord, worship was not solely stuck to any of these particular days. Men and women of God worshiped always, all day, any day. Even the disciples would gather on a daily basis, going from house to house, remembering what the Lord had done for them.
I'm in agreement with you that Sunday is not the seventh day sabbath spoken of in the bible, and people shouldn't claim it to be such. I do, however, believe that men and women can worship on any day of the week, including sunday.
@Myhopeisinhim If it was constantine, it wasn't the pope. If it was constantine, it wasn't the catholic church-
same feathers- 321 ad-
while we can worship any day /time-sabbath is our rest in Christ. However it doesnt end here-since the bible prophesy against this in daniel 7:25 -but I believe you dont want to agree on that issue either.
Well my friend -either you love the cheese and the cow or hate the cow and the cheese-you cant like cheese and hate the cow that makes it.:)
Acts 20:7 " 7And upon the first day of the week, when the disciples came together to break bread, Paul preached unto them, ready to depart on the morrow; and continued his speech until midnight." This became the normal thing to do. That is how we worship on the 1st day of the week. This does not in any way conflict with keeping the Sabbath on the 7th day.
If you believe in the Bible WHOLLY then you must believe this verse.
It is he who sits above the circle of the earth, actually means the earth is flat, as a circle by definition is a line that bends around, and its a flat surface. this is incorrect, as our earth is a Sphere, if the bible wanted people to think that it should have said sphere, or at least a ball. but it also says the earth its on pillars and a immovable foundation which is also incorrect, because we know today that the earth is spinning on its axis, and orbiting Our type G star(Sun) so its wrong.
There is no such word translated in the Bible as "sphere". It rather uses the word "circle" or "round" or "ball" to picture objects that today we might use the word "sphere" or "spherical" to describe. Interesting study might be to check in the original Hebrew for the word used in Isaiah 40:22 and see where else that word was used, and how.
@Nirky its simple because, Circle doesn't mean sphere or ball, a circle is a flat found shape, even the bible says things, Isaiah 11:12,And he shall set up an ensign for the nations, and shall assemble the outcasts of Israel, and gather together the dispersed of Judah from the FOUR CORNERS OF THE EARTH. this implies a table like existence. the reason for this is because the people who wrote the bible didn't know what the earth really was.
I think you are not understanding my point. "Sphere" simply is not a word used in the Bible, but rather it uses other words to denote round objects, like the one you are pointing out, the earth.
It is like saying "I asked him, but the American Indian doesn't know what corn is, all he knows is this plant called maize". But maize obviously is another word for corn, different terminology, different word used, but the same idea.
@Nirky thats understandable , if thats the point your trying to make, but the bible scripture when illustrated shows a image of the earth, that when is a round table on pillars, with a sky dome over it with the sun and moon moving over it. the people of the time who knew the world was round in ancient times was the pre christian greeks.
@Akirameerkat I can do that , but if what you say is true, then the bible conflicts itself in different books, since it says the earth sits on pillars like a table, and it says the God made the earth immovable.there are people who still think that those scriptures are true. they are called the flat earth society. They really believe the earth is flat.
"...and gather together the dispersed of Judah from the FOUR CORNERS OF THE EARTH."
There is no teaching in the Bible that the world is in actuality set up in a square with four corners, this is simply descriptive language used to convey the idea of the farthest reaches of the Earth. God's word is literally full of such.
@Nirky I didn't say square, its like a round table, I can understand why, the bible is nothing more then an astrotheological litterary hybrid just like all the religious myths before it.
"And He said, “What have you done? The voice of your brother’s blood cries out to Me from the ground!" Gen 4:10
From such descriptive language used we see clearly God is in anguish because Cain had just murdered his brother Able, yet the Bible does not teach that blood actually has a voice. This is probably an example of what you would call a "Bible conflict". But the problem lies not with the Lord's language, but with man's heart.
So what I suggested...you say that author when he writes the Hebrew word translated "circle" in Isa 40:22 is describing a two-dimensional, flat geometric shape. Your task is easy, find the Hebrew word and then find other places in the OT where that same word is used, and see if it always describes a flat, two-dimensional shape, as you claim. Easy and definitive. If that word always describes such, then you have a point. If it even once describes a round object, a sphere, then... :)
@Nirky I can do that , but yif waht you say is true, then the bible conflicts itself in different books, since it says the earth sits on pillars like a table, and it says the God made the earth immovable.there are people who still think that those scriptures are true. they are called the flat earth society.
Also interesting is the fact that nowhere in the Bible does it describe a situation that once you reached the "endpoint" of the earth that you will drop or fall off, such as was the belief among many "educated" people a thousand years later.
Notice also Isaiah was moved to describe the earth as circular instead of line, square, flat, etc.
@Nirky actually, the fact is the bible does. but not in Issiah (Job 38:13 "that it might take the earth by the edges and shake the wicked out of it") and here is the full Issiah passage, they they don't show in this video ("He sits enthroned above the circle of the earth, and its people are like grasshoppers. He stretches out the heavens like a canopy, and spreads them out like a tent to live in. Isaiah 40:22)
We still destroy the law,when we show images and idols in place of the living God.there are many bible verses that tell us that these things are and abomination to Lord God.But from ancient times until this day man continues to profane God's law. Any thing that we in our imagination connect to God or claim to be a representation of christ is wrong.And god doth hate it.It is sin and one the creator has taught with his word,not to follow. this video is full of them. People Wake Up!!!!!!!!!!!!
Idolatry is when we create paintings, carvings, sculpture, etc. and bow down to worship them instead of God. See the second commandment, Exodus ch. 20.
God Himself placed images in His sanctuary; this was not idolatry, unless those viewing lacked faith to worship Him in Spirit and truth, and instead used those images as some kind of crutch to worship Him. By His commandment, viewing an artist's depiction of the Almighty does not of itself constitute idolatry. God bless.
@Nirky See that's where we make our mistake, God never intended for mankind to see his face,Nor has any man seen his face,the face we see and say this is the son of God or God is not him, But how can you tell a person that this is not God when they have been brain washed. The whole purpose of the bible is to teach you ,But I see you have the answer and ignore the bible> it don't matter if you bow,kneel or crouch,And a artist rendition of the creator does constitute idolatry. You just want to
@Nirky cont. ignore it. But go ahead and continue thinking thats God,and he will accept it as his likness.It is pagan and all who claim this is the creator are lost,For they have forsaken the word of the living God and given lif to an image.Joshua 6:18 But keep away from the devoted things, so that you will not bring about your own destruction by taking any of them. Otherwise you will make the camp of Israel liable to destruction and bring trouble on it. read ezk 22:4 Can you not see the error?
@Nirky God does not look like that image period,That image is the image of the beast of revelation,that the whole world wonders after and worships.except those who have not received his mark,and his mark is the mark of disobedience,transgression of the law is sin and you are not suppose to uphold anything that trangresses the law including painted images and statues of jesus for they are all false and if you don't know this by now then your are none of his.God's children keep his commandments
Very good video, This has made it very clear that the true Sabbath day has always been, and will be forever, the seventh day of the week, Saturday. God is unchanging as the Bible says. Thank you so much!!
Amen, check out Lev 23, you will find the new moon meat & drink offering shadowy sabbath days, ORDINANCES (Col 2:14), which pictured future deliverance from sin through the Cross. Paul tells us now that we have the real substance, Christ's perfect sacrifice, let no one judge you for not keeping those shadows.
In marked contrast, the law of God (Rom 7:22), the Ten Commandments, have no meat &drink sacrifices, have nothing to do with new moons, and are NEVER called shadows.
A covenant is an agreement between two parties based on mutual promises.
The old covenant was carnal man trying in his own strength to keep God's 10 Commandments--His spiritual law (Rom 7:14).
God promised to bless His people if they would obey Him. The fault with the old covenant wasn't with God's promises or His law, the fault was with the people--they said they would obey His 10 Commandments (Ex 19:8), but they didn't. Heb 8:8
Thus, because of THE PEOPLE, the old covenant was based on poor promises. Heb 8:6
Under the new covenant, God forgives our sins (Rom 11:27)--the breaking of His 10 Commandments (1 Jn 3:4)--and bases the agreement on better promises (Heb 8:6), because God makes these better promises! By the Holy Spirit He writes His spiritual laws in our hearts, enabling us BY HIS STRENGTH to keep His commandments. Jere 31:31-34, Heb 8:10
@Jman5247 Eze & Jer: "...Their backs" were "toward the temple of the Lord, and their faces toward the east; and they worshiped the sun toward the east."
Worshiping the Sun. Sun worship involved Sunday worship, for the Dies Solis, or the Venerable Day of the Sun, It's been recognized among heathen worship. "They say to wood, 'You are my father,' and to stone, 'You gave me birth.' They have turned their backs to me and not their faces; yet when they are in trouble, they say, 'Come and save us!'"
I see heart ache for the ones that are deceived, we need to pray for them.

getsupercharged 1 month ago
@getsupercharged The Bible also says in Psalms that God takes our sin away as for as the ast is from the west. This tells that the earth is round, because if you go east forever on a globe, you will always go east and never start going west. But if you go north forever, you will eventually start going south once you pass the north pole. That's how that verse tells how the earth is round.
PockyStarPokemon 1 week ago
@PockyStarPokemon With respect, this is not a literal description of the shape of the earth. There are many things described in the bible that do not accurately describe our world. Sorry, but it's true. The difference between these biblical stories and the scientific method is that science uses precise definitions and concise language to describe that which it observes so as to accurately communicate and preserve knowledge. Accuracy actually IS important. Cheers.
getsupercharged 1 week ago
@getsupercharged I don't know what half of that has to do with what I said, but ok..?
PockyStarPokemon 1 week ago
@PockyStarPokemon I'll simplify: Psalms 103:12 does not "describe" a round earth. Further, Psalms 96:10 actually does attempt to describe a condition of the earth, which is false: "He has fixed the earth firm, immovable..." Clearly, the earth is hurtling through space. Need I mention that there are many biblical references such as psalms 96:10 above to a Geocentric model, which is also false. Cheers!~

@getsupercharged
"Clearly, the earth is hurtling through space"
The earth is also in a fixed and immovable orbit. It isn't going anywhere it's Creator doesn't will it to.
Nirky 1 week ago 2
@Nirky ...and your evidence for this assertion is???
getsupercharged 1 week ago
@getsupercharged
Nirky 1 week ago

I love Jesus Christ.
The Holy Spirit in me confirms He is Lord.
I was walking through a field, floated above my body, floated back into my body and INSTANTLY knew Jesus Christ. That's when the Holy Spirit entered me and I was saved.
Believe what you want but I know he is real.

God bless.
Nirky 4 months ago 11
@Nirky Oh, really? Than why not celebrate Passover, for it was to be a "perpetual ordinance for yourselves and your descendants" and all the other statutes that God "commanded"? The blatherings of SDAs remind me of what Our Lord says to the pharisees.."you shut the doors on The Kindom of God in mens faces, neither entering yourselves nor admitting those who are trying to enter." We all need to do what JESUS commanded. Not what some lady at the turn of the 20th century had to say.
bheadh 4 months ago
@bheadh

Christs message was love.
bheadh 4 months ago
@bheadh

The ceremonial law of Moses is Paul's subject:
"And I testify again to every man who becomes CIRCUMCISED that he is a debtor to keep the whole law." Gal 5:3
Some wanted to go back to circumcision--a ceremonial sacrificial law of the book of the law, as an attempt to justify themselves by what they did. But Paul shows justification is ONLY through faith in Christ:
"For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision avails anything, but FAITH working through love". Gal 5:7.
Nirky 9 months ago 28
@Nirky We are not justified by keeping the law or sabbath but by Jesus. But there is nothing wrong and, it is encouraged by God, that we continue to not only live by them but have a heart that doesn't think they are burdensome.
messianicreformer 3 months ago
@messianicreformer We are dead to the law and now our righteousness comes by yielding to the indwelling christ jesus.
j919or 3 months ago
@j919or Yes I agree. We are dead to the law in that like someone calling to a dead person to do something we don't respond to the written law in the same way. However, we are alive to God. When He tells us to do something we respond out of love and relationship. After we respond to Him out of love, not burden, we can look back and realize that some of the things we did fulfill the law. Others may think we are legalistic, but we were just responding in the Spirit. For example, forgiving enemies.
messianicreformer 3 months ago

Nirky 9 months ago 29
@Nirky ""such as coveting, is SIN ""

The sabbath is to teach us not to get in Gods way but chill out and trust God. ie. Manna

@j919or
Jesus came and lived a perfect, sinless life, HAVING OUR SAME WEAK HUMAN NATURE--He was drawn to do sin, just like we are, yet He overcame by the Spirit, condemning sin in the flesh! He overcame while in our weak flesh!
This means you and I can overcome by that SAME power by His Spirit, to fulfill the righteous requirement of His law IN OUR WALK with Him! Good news indeed, for those who endeavor to follow Christ.
Nirky 3 months ago 4
@Nirky Yeah, Nirky thats it. Its so simple. We dont need the law just ask Jesus to take control of your life. The commands of the NT are meant to be declarations of His will and give us a heads up on the direction that he will lead us and empower us to walk.

@j919or
"That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit." Rom 8:4
Nirky 3 months ago 5
@j919or
This Paul contrasts with those who are "in the flesh", those who do not have His Spirit and consequently do not keep His law, but look rather to fulfill their fleshly desires:
"For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.
For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace." v5-6
Nirky 3 months ago 4
@j919or
In fact, those who do not have His Spirit cannot fulfill His law in their walk, as they are carnally-minded:
"Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be." v7
Nirky 3 months ago 5

Christ's death and post-resurrection appearances were on "S-u-n-d-a-y."
1. Jesus was raised from the dead on "But on the first day of the week," (Luke 24:1).
2. "And when the day of Pentecost had come," (Acts 2:1) (see Lev. 23:15-16)
3. "And on the first day of the week, when we were gathered together ..." (Acts 20:7)
4. "On the first day of every week let each one of you put aside..." (1 Cor. 16:2)
5. "I was in the Spirit on the Lord's day, and I heard ..." (Rev. 1:10)
* Sunday
GsliMaIiy 10 months ago
@GsliMaIiy, even if Jesus was resurrected on the first day of the week, no where did Jesus command us to keep that day as the day of rest. Isaiah 58:13 calls the Sabbath 'the holy of the Lord' so John in Revelation was talking about the Sabbath. Jesus mentioned that he is Lord of the Sabbath. Acts 20 talks about a gathering that went late into Sunday evening about raising funds for the Christians in Jerusalem. No where is there any mention of a religious service or gathering behind held.
Habsfan0206 10 months ago
@GsliMaIiy, further to my previous comment, there are over 80 references to the Sabbath in Acts, the same day that Paul and the apostles kept. Hebrews 4 talks about a day of rest for the people of God on the 7th day, not the 1st day. Please check parts 1, 2 and 3 of the Youtube video entitled Is Sunday The Christian Sabbath?What Day Is The Lord's Day?Who Changed The Sabbath? produced by Presents of God ministry. Part 3 is quite relevant. Videos from that ministry can be found at john1429.org.

@GsliMaIiy
Nirky 10 months ago
@GsliMaliy
Nirky 10 months ago
@GsliMaliy
Nirky 10 months ago
@GsliMaIiy
Nirky 10 months ago
@GsliMaIiy
So Paul never taught anything regarding sanctity of the first day of the week, which was the resurrection day. Certainly if not Jesus, it would be Paul who would teach about any new doctrine for the early church, but Paul is silent concerning any first day of the week teaching.
Nirky 10 months ago
@GsliMaIiy
We DO find the Lord Jesus has a Day (Rev 1:10)! Certainly as it is the Lord's Day, it is a Day important to Him, and therefore if we love Him, it should be to us. So which is this Day?
Nirky 10 months ago
@GsliMaIiy
Nirky 10 months ago 2
@GsliMaIiy

What a glorius day his resurrection (Sunday) was
RANJO517 10 months ago

What a glorious resurrection, and Paul teaches we celebrate His resurrection not in keeping of a day, but through our BAPTISM:
"...buried with Him in baptism, in which you also were raised with Him through faith in the working of God, who raised Him from the dead." Col 2:12
Nirky 10 months ago
@RANJO517
it just goes to show that Jesus kept the sabbath even at his cruxifiction. You can't get away from the fact that Saturday is the 7th day God made it holy. When you worship God on Sunday you do so in vain. If you love God you will kep his commandments and not the traditions of man. End of story. God never changed the day period.

Myhopeisinhim 11 months ago
you mentioned that God cannot be proven because he cannot be seen but Jesus was the revelation of God to mankind. He was God in the flesh.
Man always used to question whether jesus existed but now with overwelming evidence even outside of the scriptures tell how a man named jesus existed. They tell how he was a great teacher and how he died by crucifixion.

Second reason is the bible.

Myhopeisinhim 11 months ago
especially when the world and all the animals and people in it are much more complex than anything we have ever designed? What you believe isn't logic.
In regards to God, he has always existed. There was never a point in history that he didn't exist. He didn't randomly appear, he is and always was, and always will be. Again though, faith is more realistic than the option you are giving.
Actually, it takes more faith to believe in evolution than in a designer.
Myhopeisinhim 11 months ago
@rookerman2011
Look back at the posts I've made previously, it gives many examples, that you believe came into existence by chance(without an intelligent designer).
Myhopeisinhim 11 months ago
@rookerman2011
There is one problem that you are avoiding and refusing to address. How can something complex be created by chance(without intelligence), when something intelligent can't create something as complex through design?
When you look at a fully operational building, you know there is a designer because nothing happens randomly or by chance, especially not something which contains so complex a design. You know a building had a designer due to the complex nature of it, same with us
Myhopeisinhim 11 months ago
This world was made by his hands, the world, just as a building does, reveals the creators work. A painting reveals the creative mind, creative design of the artist, and the world does the same of God. This is his work, and your proof.

@rookerman2011
Basically, you don't have to see something to know it exists, nor do you have to see something to know what it can do, even you have just admitted to that, whether you want to call something natural, or supernatural makes no difference.
Either something can be proven while it can't be seen, or it has to be seen to be proven. Question, who made the world?

Myhopeisinhim 11 months ago
@rookerman2011
Your excuse was that the world can't prove him because he's never been seen, so I refuted that with the same logic that you presented to me. Now you are telling me that science can prove wind and oxygen when neither have been seen, so using that logic, the world can indeed prove God even though he can't be seen.
Myhopeisinhim 11 months ago
The bible hasn't always existed, but believers of the one true God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob have always been around since time began. He has proven himself to them, and they have accepted what he has shown them.
The world itself is so complex that it has to have a designer. If even one thing was off, this world wouldn't be able to sustain life. It is just the right distance away from the sun, and everything was perfectly balanced that it shouts it's designers name.
Myhopeisinhim 11 months ago

No doubt you've seen what i'm about to say, but I'm gonna say it anyway for not just your benefit, but others as well. You can't "see" wind, but you can see what it does. You can't see "oxygen", but you know that it's beneficial for survival, your survival.
You don't need to see something to know it's there. You don't need to see something to know what it can do. He may not be walking on earth in visible form today, but you can see his wonderful works:)
Myhopeisinhim 11 months ago
He was seen though, seen by many, seen by thousands. His name is Jesus, and he came to this earth just over 2000 years ago. There is much evidence for his existence, and no reason not to believe. Pride prevents us from seeing what we need to see.

We don't have to "prove" his existence. The world is his proof. The world declares his glory and majesty.
Romans 1:20 - From the time the world was created, people have seen the earth and sky and all that God made. They can clearly see his invisible qualities--his eternal power and divine nature. So they have no excuse whatsoever for not knowing God.

Actually, it is a myth that most ancient people believed that the earth was flat.
Most ancient civilisations were well aware that the earth was round.
The ancient Greeks new full well it was round, as did the estruscans and most of the ancient civilisations that had contact with the sea for trading.
Some scholars believe that the flat earth story probably grew up as a way of denegrating the achievements of the ancients by later civilisations.

As for the ten commandments:
1,2,3 & 4 are just a huge ego trip for god.
5 is good, but it is also a being used as a bribe to let them keep the land.
6,7,8 & 9 Are the best, but predate moses by a long way. Most Societies, religious or secular, had and still have these. They are necessary for the survival of all societies, secular or religious.

There is no evidence that god did anything or that he even exists.

Myhopeisinhim 1 year ago

Having said that though....

I'm in agreement with you that Sunday is not the seventh day sabbath spoken of in the bible, and people shouldn't claim it to be such. I do, however, believe that men and women can worship on any day of the week, including sunday.

@Myhopeisinhim Guess you don't know your bible then huh? for the apostles had actually changed the sabbath in their timeline

Oh the old law was changed alright in their timeline, the rest we now have is in Jesus and not the seventh day.

while we can worship any day /time-sabbath is our rest in Christ. However it doesnt end here-since the bible prophesy against this in daniel 7:25 -but I believe you dont want to agree on that issue either.

Akirameerkat 1 year ago
@Akirameerkat
Nirky 1 year ago
@Nirky its simple because, Circle doesn't mean sphere or ball, a circle is a flat found shape, even the bible says things, Isaiah 11:12,And he shall set up an ensign for the nations, and shall assemble the outcasts of Israel, and gather together the dispersed of Judah from the FOUR CORNERS OF THE EARTH. this implies a table like existence. the reason for this is because the people who wrote the bible didn't know what the earth really was.
Akirameerkat 1 year ago
@Akirameerkat
Nirky 1 year ago 2
@Nirky thats understandable , if thats the point your trying to make, but the bible scripture when illustrated shows a image of the earth, that when is a round table on pillars, with a sky dome over it with the sun and moon moving over it. the people of the time who knew the world was round in ancient times was the pre christian greeks.
Akirameerkat 1 year ago
@Akirameerkat I can do that , but if what you say is true, then the bible conflicts itself in different books, since it says the earth sits on pillars like a table, and it says the God made the earth immovable.there are people who still think that those scriptures are true. they are called the flat earth society. They really believe the earth is flat.

@Akirameerkat
Nirky 1 year ago 2
@Nirky I didn't say square, its like a round table, I can understand why, the bible is nothing more then an astrotheological litterary hybrid just like all the religious myths before it.
Akirameerkat 1 year ago
@Akirameerkat
Here is another:
"And He said, “What have you done? The voice of your brother’s blood cries out to Me from the ground!" Gen 4:10
From such descriptive language used we see clearly God is in anguish because Cain had just murdered his brother Able, yet the Bible does not teach that blood actually has a voice. This is probably an example of what you would call a "Bible conflict". But the problem lies not with the Lord's language, but with man's heart.

@Nirky Yahweh's word was created by man. such as the Cain and Abel myth,

@Akirameerkat
Nirky 1 year ago
@Nirky I can do that , but yif waht you say is true, then the bible conflicts itself in different books, since it says the earth sits on pillars like a table, and it says the God made the earth immovable.there are people who still think that those scriptures are true. they are called the flat earth society.

@Akirameerkat
Nirky 1 year ago

@1966wash
God bless.
Nirky 1 year ago
@Nirky See that's where we make our mistake, God never intended for mankind to see his face,Nor has any man seen his face,the face we see and say this is the son of God or God is not him, But how can you tell a person that this is not God when they have been brain washed. The whole purpose of the bible is to teach you ,But I see you have the answer and ignore the bible> it don't matter if you bow,kneel or crouch,And a artist rendition of the creator does constitute idolatry. You just want to
1966wash 1 year ago
@Nirky cont. ignore it. But go ahead and continue thinking thats God,and he will accept it as his likness.It is pagan and all who claim this is the creator are lost,For they have forsaken the word of the living God and given lif to an image.Joshua 6:18 But keep away from the devoted things, so that you will not bring about your own destruction by taking any of them. Otherwise you will make the camp of Israel liable to destruction and bring trouble on it. read ezk 22:4 Can you not see the error?
1966wash 1 year ago

Colossians 2:16 - “Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days”
FAITHandLOGIC 1 year ago
@FAITHandLOGIC
Nirky 1 year ago
here we go again. The 10 commandments were the old covenant. We are under a new covenant. I don't know why this is so difficult to understand.
FAITHandLOGIC 1 year ago
@FAITHandLOGIC
Indeed, it is not difficult to understand.
Heb 8:8
Nirky 1 year ago
@FAITHandLOGIC
