Those Conns are great! I have Conns, Bueschers and a Martin 'home model'. I enjoy playing them occasionally. They all have their own distinctive tone.Best regards Lee Mason

Hi Birdog: I see that you are a collector. I have a Martin C Melody 'Home model'..Martin was having hardtimes in 1929 so they decided to eliminate the redundant keys to get the cost down. You may be familiar with them, if not I can send you a photo. That said, my new Mason Pro is without a doubt the best C melody I have ever had my hands on! Lee
That Martin is a great horn, and very rare to have survived, but I am completing my collection with one of everything, and I already have a nice C-melody, but thanks!
I am only missing a Bari Sax, bagpipe and a full sized harp. I just can't play everything yet, but the vids are comming. I'm working on flute right now.
I certainly wouldn't swap my 1922 Buescher for that thing.

Made in 2008? Why, that's hardly aged :) My C-melody is a Conn Castle from 1923.

Not bad- I've also heard good things about Aquilasax instruments. For now I'll be staying with my 1922 Conn stencil.

My first horn in 1946 was a 1922 Conn C Melody, but I later traded it in for a tenor...big mistake. LeeBM29

Awsome horn! Too bad it's new.... ;)
My 1921 Conn C-Melody does not have the high F# or the extra F# that this one has...But does go down to Bb. Interesting...
Thank you for posting this beautifull horn!
