  • Cool film. I watched 'Dagon' years ago, and just last year read 'shadow over Innsmouth', and remembered the hotel scene.

  • this is corny and awesome!

  • I fear the Zodak sounds too... coherent, but I love this representation of the story.

  • I confess, I looked at my hand at 7:55, haha

  • Great Job Ia Ia Cthulhu Fhtagn!

  • How did you use the Movies Game with these other graphics to do this? And also, did you use the Movies Game?

  • This is great stuff. I would be honored if you ever wish to do a collaboration with me. I'm working on an H.P. Lovecraft inspired story... though the story itself in the film is written and directed by myself.

  • I watched this while listening to Endsmouth by Agents of Oblivion.. Actually fit the mood..

  • he walks funny

  • Great job. You re-tell the tale, but you kept the original information. Very well done.

  • the sky looks sick

  • I was reading this last night!

  • Nice production. I really like the dialogue, and voiceacting.

  • That google tanscribe subtitles says some weird things, when the bus driver is talking it says "his bus drives all canadian troops" and it called the gilman house "the gilman ass"

  • Check out "Dagon" it's a decent representation of the story. This is good as well, direct from book to screen.

  • a - did you use "the movies"

b - all is awesome! best movie about inssmouth!

  • Transcribe audio is fucking hilarious

  • Very good video. But subtitles would be awesome, if you can do that.

  • @tarikay93 For SUBTITLES, click on the "CC" button under the movie, and choose the "transcribe audio" option.

  • @NueArtPictures Much appreciated, thanks.

  • Best book I've ever read. :)

  • No, this story does not take place in Spain, but in the U.S.A.. Lovecraft's original story itself depicts the bus route going from Newport to Innsmouth, and then to Arkham.

  • not to nit pick but doesn't this story take place off the cost of Spain? If i'm right pretty sure u can't take a Bus to Arkham, Mass.

  • this is epic!!THANK YOU.

somebody should do one for rats in the walls

  • Love it.

Only thing that itches at me is when you have a story like this wear a sort of cult is involved, the main character happens to be some dumb, clueless sap.

  • very good, very good!

  • "Innsmith" I thought it was pronounced "Innsmouth."

  • @gmjjack No, it's spelled Innsmouth, but pronounced Innsmith. ^^

  • This is incredible! How'd you do it? YOu gotta keep this going for all Lovecraft tales!

  • @theQuestion626 Thanks. I do have more Lovecraftian films on my Youtube Channel--my prequel to this story is "Dark Tides of Innsmouth"

  • Really great job! You managed to take all the essential details and adapt them in a way that "works" well for a movie.

  • I bought the completed works! :D I love this story, It's awesome!

  • What program do you use? This is very cool thank you.

  • EPIC EPIC EPIC EPIC CALL OF CTHULHU DARK CORNERS OF THEEARTH 4EVER in MY Hearth

  • I love this. So very eerie. (However, I have to say the fishmen's voices were the most entertaining.)

  • i bought the necromonicon, with over 900 pages of his stories, including this. this is pretty much the film they should have made, well done

  • @suicideisk Where did you get it, and it was just called the Necronomicon? Like where could I get it? Regular book stores?

  • pretty good!

like the direction but the poor animated acting just makes it look a bit too weird but I got used to i later.

But i kinda find this dude an idiot. If someone like that told me a story like that. I'd lave the place since it has a weird cult.

  • Is it just me, or does the wagon's "license plate" read "LUVCRFT"?

  • @najhoant Yes, and I believe you're the first one to notice that (or at least comment on that). I put in a few "Easter Eggs" throughout this film for the fun of it.

  • @NueArtPictures 1:49 The Wichter ;-) "Wiedzmiń" Andrzej Sapkowski story. Do you like it?

  • @lunasky2 Actually Dude, it was a game by bethesda softworks called "Call of Cthulhu"

  • Comment removed

  • What software did you use? Is this a game engine or a something like 3ds max? Have you heard about Blender?

  • great work. love it!!

  • @lunasky2 As far as I know, this story was not directly adapted as a movie by anyone yet, but this theme has been used numerous times in other works (such as the movie "Dagon", and even "Dr. Who" episodes). Rumor has it that Nicolas Cage was involved with a Hollywood production of this film, but that was a decade ago, so it probably isn't going to happen any time soon.

  • Your film brings me to Innsmouth... Congratulations! Very good job.

  • amazing work :D well done

  • Well done. Beautiful.

  • captain marsh look like ocelot lol

  • everyone blinds too much ;) but aside from that its fun.

  • I'm very happy to watch this movie. Thank you for your work

  • If you love hp lovecraft thumbs up !

  • thank you for uploading this shadow over innsmouth is my favourite story of all times.

  • @MrRandymaniac My pleasure! It's one of mine as well, and since I don't know if a film will ever be made from this story, I decided to make it myself. I'm glad you enjoyed it--that makes my effort worth it.

  • @NueArtPictures you should make more of these because its awesome that you have the lovecraft feeling in my opinion on these films. or are you working with something already? (btw sorry if my english is not correct im from finland)

  • @NueArtPictures Just finished the story so this was a treat.

  • Ай да автор, ай да красава! Вообще супер! It is - very cool!

  • A fantastic job! Well done to you for doing this brilliant animation on Shadow over innsmouth.

  • It's very very good! The voices of Innsmouth people, the town, are so darkly expressive, so full of the spirit of HPL's tale! Wonderful film!!!

  • very good

  • This has to be one of the best movies I have ever seen using The Movies. So well made. I will definately subscribe. Btw what program do you use to make the sky? Sony Vegas?

  • Very cool.
