All automatic small-blocks had Powerglide. Turbo-Hydramatic was only available on the 396 in '65. One of my favorite Imapals. And it's a pleasure to see one stock, without those stupid dub wheels and chain steering wheels. Nice sweet ride.
my dadd bought an impala liike this '65 with orginal everything and shinning engine and perfect sound we brought it for 138,000 dollar and we had it till i was 14 and then we sold it for for douable more and i just miss that car so i am thinking of buying it back in future :) and hope it's ok :)
I know it is only my opinion but I think the 65 Impala is the best looking car ever made and that includes the 4 doors. There were over 1 million 65 Impalas' sold an industry record that has yet to be broken. I know 66's almost look the same but to me it is the slightly different grill and the tail lights that does it for me.
Wow other than the interior color I'd swear you have our old 65 - arctic white 2 door, option wheel covers. perfect original condition. We had the blue interior I reworked before I sold it and I had repainted it fully in 84, same arctic white. Had a 327 high perf engine and the factory Powerglide trans. I wouldnt have a modern GM product but I'd love to have another 63, 64, 65, 66 or 67 Impala. Nice to see a mid 60's Chevy that isnt a lowrider!
