nanaroborovskii- The dollar figure changed several times actually and probably will change again, even though it has been signed now. Here's how the process works. The U.S. house of representatives passed a stimulus bill and sent it to the Senate for approval. The Senate then passed a similar bill and sent it to the house. The house tried to reconcile the two and passed a bill then sent back to the Senate. The Senate tried to reconcile that bill and sent yet another version back house.

The process finally resulted in a compromise bill being passed by both House and Senate. Why could the amount change again? The amount is based upon estimates. The Department of Transportation for example is being given two years to spend it's money. The tax changes are based upon percentages in some cases, but in other cases such as home insulation and renewable energy, costs will vary according to public participation.

BTW about Reinhardt, I grew up around the town he appears to live. I believe he is called "Reinhardt" because of Reinhardt College. He has used the name "Waleska" in Chat rooms and the college is the only thing in town. Also, the only other branch of the school is in Alpharetta, GA where he mentions restaurants and other places. Just thought you might like to know.
