Sanguinius got beat by the literally strongest Bloodthirster to ever exist and even then I think I remember him winning in the rematch. Normal Bloodthirsters he smacked around like a Space Marine smacks around Imperial Guard.

Whilst a Space Marine Captain beating a Bloodthirster is unlikely it's certainly not impossible, doubly so when said captain is wielding one of the 12 Daemonhammers.

fyi, for some reason this game isn't so good at rendering shadows. based on what i see here, you could have had better graphics and a higher framerate if you enabled high res textures using fullresteamcolor=1 and disabled shadows entirely.
