They could totally save the movie by bringing it back with Piccollo and Goku having to fight Radditz to save earth. Would introduce that Goku's and alien, piccolo is an alien, and Earth has a few badasses too...
And at the end, where Radditz dies along with Goku, it would be the PERFECT PLACE to leave off for a REAL SEQUEL! Vegetta's arrival!

Krillin lives with his older bro "georgie". You know krillin is getting mad a goku because goku and piccolo hang out a lot more then georgie and him. Piccolo is actually human but he denies that he is part alien. Goku is a bi-sexual so he attempts to rape radditz, resulting in a fight. Piccolo is angry at chichi for taking too long in the bathroom so he begins to destroy earth. Goku and radditz fight him to save earth.
I heard in the next Dragonball z movie, Mr. Popo will become a super saiyan and become a few shades visable and does the fusion dance with kami's walking stick and calls himself "Black Wood"! And then Shenlong and Mr Satan does another fusion dance and becomes Super Saiyan 345 and Piccolo becomes Super Saiyan 3000045232. Hope the directors don't see this comment...because they'll think it make sense and make a new movie!

At least Hollywood gave the anime a chance. EVERYONE wanted a live action. But they should have involved Toriyama more. TBH I hated the actual Anime movies. They always were crap and conflicted with the storyline of the sagas. The only thing I like about the ENTIRE Dragonball story was DBZ.
The special efects were so bad. When you see how series of " Heroes" were done, you would think that "evolution" would have special efects like that at least.

I thought that Dragon Ball Evolution and was a huge disgrace to the original anime. Having been of DBZ since I was 12 yrs old, I expected the film to be A LOT better than it ended up being. I head that they stuck with the manga and that was why it was so muddled the way it was, but I have all the volumes to Dragon Ball/Dragon Ball Z and this was NOTHING like it. Hopefully one day, if they ever do a remake to this peice of garbage they will make it more REAL to the story.

it only rapes the series if you think of it as a remake of the series. it's a reboot, meaning it's a different universe. take the Future Trunks Paradox as example. Trunks went back in time and changed the time line. well this is another time line in the Dragon Ball universe.

The problem with DB:R is that there's most likely going to be more talking than fighting. I can't imagine there being a 1 hour fight scene with Raditz, and the other hour talking about where goku is from, introducing his son, his son being kidnapped, joining up with Piccolo, finding out Goku can sense power levels....the list goes on.

it only rapes the series if you think of it as a remake of the series. it's a reboot, meaning it's a different universe. take the Future Trunks Paradox as example. Trunks went back in time and changed the time line. well this is another time line in the Dragon Ball universe.

Instead of making these bullshit movies, why don't the ask permission from Toiyama and create a sequal to Dragonball GT. The problem with DB:R is that there's most likely going to be more talking than fighting. I can't imagine there being a 1 hour fight scene with Raditz, and the other hour talking about where goku is from, introducing his son, his son being kidnapped, joining up with Piccolo, finding out Goku can sense power levels....the list goes on.

DBE was such an epic fail, no ones even getting excited about this one.Whats Raditz even gonna do? Piccolo already told Goku hes a saiyan. And piccolo died, so how is this gonna work out? Krillin and Tien cant be there bc theyll have to explain why suddenly Goku magically knows someone with 3 eyes

This is the saiyan saga. The Sequel DOES infact have krillin among other characters who come out of the wood work. Let alone the money involved in making the movie has been DOUBLED. And the director for the movie is ALOT better.

when the sequal comes out i hope itz better than the first one, the akira toriyama story only "revovled" around collecting dragon balls, that wasn't the whole story. and DBE somehow managed to turn frieza into piccolo, piccolo thought he was a demon until nappa told him he was namekian, and goku didn't know he was a saiyan until raditz told him, this is all too much info told too quick(70min movie) especially since they plan to make this into a trilogy

i also liked the movie and i liked all the other dragonball anime and movies even more.
if all of you guys looked a bit further then your noses are long and stop don't follow the crowd who are trying to rape any live action movie.

actually If you looked more further then the size of your penis you could see that this just a small part in a dragonball saga with good key features combined.
Good enough to make a nice trilogy
If you decide to follow the crowd with people who don't like it then that's your choice.
If they start the next movie of with Goku as a super saiyan then for sure I will also rant on the movie, but for now it's a good start
