Hi i am getting a RC10B4 buggy and i don't know if i can use that lipo in the video on it my esc is a IPC sport digital lrp and my motor is Aurora 14 Turn Peak Racing Motor can you please let me know if it is ok to use it with that esc and motor.
hi im new to rc cars. i just briught a buggy with a 3000kv brushless motor 80amp esc and a 3s 11.1 2700mha 40c battery. i have a imax b6 charger. but the problem is i dont know what these numbers and letters mean lol!! the buggy is fast as and happy with the peformance but would ilke it to run longer then 8 or so min. should i normal, fast or balance charge? is the norm 2.7amps charge for a 2700mah battery correct? sorry for all the questions but im just learning
i hope someone answers this.. i have a question about the "C"rating on lipos
i understand that the higher the "C" the more burst u have .. but can any esc handle a higher burst battery? i have a HPI sprint 2 with a25c 4000 mha lipo .. and was looking to buy a 40C 5000mha lipo.. i didnt know if it would damage the car or if it would be fine.. thanks in advance
@explosivetaco25 Balance. Store them just above nominal voltage (3.7v per cell is nominal so about 3.8v per cell). use them once a month to keep them in good shape. the rest goes without saying.
@rcnightmare hey i probally know that you heard this a thousand times but when i just buy a brand new LIPO what shold i do for longer life and safty for the battery like should i run it until dead , discharge or charge or whatever i have a AC6 THUNDER CARGER so i dont know what to dofor the lipo cuase my friend had a lipo he ran befor charge and busted the batterys PLZ RELPY thankyou
@blackout1926 The difference between 2s and 3s is RPM of the motor. 3s will give you much more RPM which means a faster car. It will run hotter however. More torque is possible with higher "C" rated cells or by running two 2s in parallel.
@0RobotWarsIsTheBest0 Lol, kinda funny way of putting it. 10 years of buying lipos from everyone I've had more problems with the china megastore and very few with the locally supported brand. But to each his own we're not all going to have the same luck when buying batteries. This is why I prefer to buy with a strong warranty and locally if possible. Endless debate for sure...
Only cheap lipos need balanceing but should balance I'd say every 5 runs and it isn't. Nesassary to have a charger with a built in balancer I have a lipo charger and a seperate balancer that shows u the voltage in each cell and has lights that light up on the cells that are being balanced
@biggdaddy2001 No no no! Always always always balance lipos! Has nothing to do with how much they cost, has everything to do with keeping them in the best condition possible and catching bad cells before it's too late! Yes you can buy external balancers but very few chargers being sold these days don't have one.
kool kinda off topic but you should try hobby king for lipos that venom you have is like 50 you can get two tunegy 5000 30c 2s lipos for 55 shipped if you get it from the usa werhouse and thay come with 14 gage wire not 12 hope this helps
@nicholas2090 Lol again! A laughable endlessly debatable topic for sure. That's just that battery we used for the video, sir. We have many from all brands. Yes the china mega store is cheap, but it's also...cheap. Think you meant 12 instead of 14 gauge.
@rcnightmare ow ok i wans just telling you about it but yes the battery i was talking about was 14 gauge wire and its a 5200 not a 5000 i mesed up lol
@MegaRallycar Check out our previous video on batteries where we do stress the importance of charging safely. Those destruction videos are aplenty online. We prefer not to ruin our batteries.

@traxxasdude11 All racers are running Lipo now. NIMH is 99% gone from racing.

Cab the ken block brushless run lipo? If so what's best brand n type
blackout1926 6 months ago
@blackout1926 yes. 3S 2200 mah max. I run two 2s 2000mah in parallel.
rcnightmare 6 months ago
@rcnightmare Run em' in series. It's crazy.
350zvj 6 months ago
@350zvj Do not run any LIPO's in series on the 1/16 brushless! It's a 99% guaranty that you will burn out the ESC.
rcnightmare 6 months ago
@rcnightmare That's all I've ran since March without any problems.

+1 on hobbyking lipos I got 2 turnigy nano tech 2s 50-100c for $35 each.
Also venom has a reputation for making terrible batteries.
