WOW!!!! I have a 4 month old chihuahua, and can you please tell me where did you learn the hand sign language for your dog, I am trying to teach him, but he is so stubborn, how long did it took you.

My chihuahua loves me every time he by me he just follows me wiggling his tail when ever I sit down he walks on top of me and just turns around a couple of times to find a good position and just lays there on top of me like I'm some kind of pillow or something

Anywaaaay... Very smart dog! So far, I only got Spiker's to sit and lay down, and my boyfriend got him to go "up!" and "play dead."

It's sort of true when they say you can't teach an old dog new tricks :) I tried teaching my 7 year old Boston Terrier/Pug mix to sit, and he won't move a muscle! My 1.5 month old chihuahua's learning though :D

my chihuahua only sits and lies down. sometimes it gets the two confused

if you have food it wants, it knows to just sit down and stare at you

it also knows "stay" (when you leave the house so it doesnt follow you)

it also knows "go to bed"

Only you have to do is praise your dog whenever he/she does anything good and ignore him when he/she does anything bad. I think it is also important to trust him/her.
