  • I would invest in China too because I can get cheap labour.

  • I see that immelt, is now going to transfer data, and manufacturing no how for the new Chinese planes that compete with Boeing, and airbus.

This guy needs locking up, he claims in todays wall street journal, if it goes wrong it will all be his fault.

Where are the congrees folks, asleep as usual, or is money and back handers, the driving force, in this.

  • That's just great. They did exactly what they should NOT be doing. Its fools like this that are ruining the economy.

All imported goods, from medical equipment to shoe laces should have a tariff imposed that makes the cost equal no mater where the product is manufactured, that way they can no longer compete for profit but for product quality.

This pisses me off because I am an xray tech and use GE equipment every day. If I had my way America would boycott GE equipment from now on.

  • Toys made in China? They kill kids. Poultry raised in China? Poison. By all means, let's make light bulbs and medical equipment in China. Makes all the sense in the world. Oh, yeah, and who gives two craps about American jobs.

  • Obama seems to like GE a lot. The company's leader's even appointed by Obama to create more jobs. As a CHINESE American myself, I think Obama is a crook. It's just really strange why some white peopel that call themselves liberals like him so much. I don't get it.

  • @ttiiyy 1st off this is much bigger than Obama and we should stop trying to blame him for everything. Not sure what this has to do with white people either but… Anyway we Liberals liked his view and vision that he sold us on. Honestly even if he would have implemented our vision it has been stalled, stop or hijacked by the Republicon party.

  • @ttiiyy Just so I am clear it doesn’t matter anymore who is President whether it is the next Republicon or Democrap. They are all bought and paid for by BIG $ and BIG corp. They say whatever they need to say to get elected and then do what they are told by the big $ and big corp. They are all puppets but we should be the ones pulling the strings. It won’t matter until we start holding all of them accountable. If you are expecting them to change thing you will be waiting past your life time.

  • @ttiiyy If you really want change then we have to make it happen. For instance if you want to move away from fossil fuels then we need to be buying cars that don’t run on it. We have greater control over the market than we do any of the clowns in office. You want to move away from nuke and coal then buy solar and wind. You want better food then stop buying crap food.

  • @ttiiyy The problem with all this is it cost us more to do those things, which is exactly why they want us poor. They take all the power and control we have in the market place away from us and our ability to change it, because we can’t afford too.

  • @ttiiyy The problem is they are NOT creating jobs here in the US nor are they creating current livable wage jobs. The RICH are already RICH they have lots of money, which is why they are called “the rich”. Soooo where are the JOBS and why do they need more money to create them if they are already rich? Did you watch the video or are you just here regurgitating Republican B.S.?

  • It's so sad that the media only allows five minutes and forty seconds of real journalism.

  • Free trade and "job creator"-friendly tax law at work, folks.

Don't raise taxes on corporations and the rich because they create jobs...in China.

  • Who cares? Give me the Lakers, the Super Bowl, the Galaxy, Kim Kadashian and American Idol... We are a confederacy of dunces.

  • This is the "job creators" at work creating jobs. Good thing they don't pay shit for taxes so they can keep creating those jobs. TAX THE RICH ALREADY!

  • @jturuc Taxing the rich will not resolve all the problems. I don't like the shameless and useless rich, either. But you need to defind the word "rich" carefully. There are bloody rich billionaires that can be considered the rich. These bloody rich motherfuckers are not creating jobs in the US. However, there's another type of rich that are now in DANGER in the US. These people are LOCAL SMALL BUSINESS owners, that are often labeled the rich, too. They do create local jobs.

  • @jturuc As long as a company is willing to create more jobs in the US, that company should be given tax breaks. It isn't fair to demonize the rich in general. That being said, GE is a truly shitty corporation. Obama has done nothing to cut the tax loopholes, and that's why GE has not been paying federal income taxes. This kind of company gives other American corporations bad names.

  • @jturuc I don't like corporations, but they are the only ones that can still afford to offer some good jobs in the US. Also, it really bothers me people like you just use a generic term "the rich." Local small business owners are upper class citizens. However, they're now under PRESSURE. If our government wants to tax these small business owners more heavily, how will they be able to create more local jobs? The gov't should only tax corporations more heavily, and go easy on locals.

  • @ttiiyy I thought I was pretty clear. This video had nothing to with "rich" local small business owners!!! My comment "RICH" was based on the video. The GREEDY rich pigs and CEO of huge corporations or corporations themselves like GE. We need all people to be able to work for a livable wage and stop this growing gap between filthy rich and poor. Who are just trying to survive. Then we would not need so many programs for the poor.

  • @ttiiyy I could write a book here which was what I was trying to avoid by just making the comment I made. A huge amount of our counties problems stem directly from poverty. Depression, suicide, drug and alcohol abuse, crime, stress which is linked to heath issues… The sad thing is it doesn’t have to be this way. It’s the greed and the need for more power that is killing us. Oh PS I myself am a small business owner self- employed

  • “Thank you!”…to all you geniuses that voted for the current Marxist in Chief.

  • This is beyond words...I'm sick over this!

  • Hooray for the president stepping up to the plate to save American jobs as he promised. Surely something can be done to entice GE corporate to keep jobs here. USA will become a society of burger servers having college degrees + loan debt.

What magical miracle can come next? Space aliens inside the earth will save everybody..... Bwahahahaaa

  • Revolution, one way or another, is coming to America. It's got to be.

  • No income taxes paid by GE last year! And they move stuff to China!

  • GE can go f itself.

  • CNN is boring, but the Cafferty file is always amusing.

  • globalization = end of social contract

  • Don't worry it will trickle down! Do nothing and wait! LMAO

  • Businesses go where its cheap to operate. Raise taxes all you want, but don't complain when everyone with cash leaves.....And bitch all you want about them not paying taxes, but they just follow the tax code that our legislators wrote for them. Green tech for no taxes. Jobs come when free economies prevail Screw the Crony capitalism we currently have. Low taxes and low Government regulation (the market will self regulate).

  • @Buenzas the market will fix itself

good luck with that... since Ronald Reagan deregulation had led to this kind of practices...

You think Corporations care about you ?... do you think they wanna pay their fair share ?

Hell no... whats in it for them... is to pay minimum wage to chinese slave workers

and then benefit from the system in the U.S while avoiding to pay taxes.

How is that market will fix it self going for ya ?..

  • BOYCOTT!!! General Electric...

  • @carolinadare who gives a shit about america.

GE has the chinese market to sell to.

china's market for GE is bigger than america.

    go boycott.

  • fuck america.

    fuck these subhuman white trash.

    go china!

  • Good job GE, probably get more for you buck there, wouldn't blame them for doing it. China is a Republic, we are nothing but a sad state of Lies.

  • @Schutzgemeinschaft actually the unions & Ross Perot both said it 20 years ago. Too late now.

  • @Schutzgemeinschaft yup, Ross Perot: "the giant sucking sound of jobs leaving the country"

  • Want to solve this problem once and for all? Impose a permanent 91% inheritance tax on the top 2% of Americans. In about two generations the American aristocracies will be brought down to the point where they stop screwing the 98% rest of us. And don’t tell me their wealth makes jobs, what they do is buy politicians and then send our jobs overseas.

  • @dalecs47 imposing a 91% inheritance is theft & will only cause every person to leave the country. All of them. You get an empty nation of poor people, no jobs. Idiot. In about 2 generations those same people will be richer than you can imagine but in Costa Rica, Jersey Channel islands, South Africa, Russia, England, Norway, Brazil, leaving you behind to cry. Idiot.

  • That's how you create jobs right there.

  • R.I.P. USA ... Get your guns ready

  • !!! ELIMINATE ALL TAXES !!!

  • I think we need to transfer the GE Executives to China to work in the Chinese prisons

  • It simply means that corporations don't give a damm about there own courntry, but all they care about is making money.

  • Just locked my mortgage rate in yesterday. Petty happy about that!

  • What else would you expect from the owners of MSNBC?

  • Fuck.

  • GE paid NO federal income taxes in 2010. GE will pay NO federal income taxes in 2011. GE Capital, the disastrous gift left behind by Jack Welch, was one of the biggest beneficiaries of the TARP bailout. The Export-Import Bank, funded by taxpayers, has given GE $2.5 billion in loans & loan guarantees. GE received BILLIONS TARP money. Jobs going to China

    washingtonpost. com/wp-dyn/content/article/2009/06/28/AR2009062802955.html

    examiner. com/independent-in-national/jobs-czar-moves-us-jobs-to-china

  • And you can bet the taxe payer is paying for the move in one way or another.

  • @Salvysahagun "Who controls the money supply?"

Central banks of Japan, China, Russia, England, USA, Canada, Australia, ECB. That's who.

  • die slow america..karma is overdue

  • Everyone that worked for GE payed income tax. amirite?

  • @sonnybrown No. You are forgetting their foreign workers, who pay no income taxes to the US.

  • @Zlibservacratican I know the sorted tail of them being a foreign company, but they receive their payments in dollars here, right? Unless the specific plant is overseas. The problem with corporate tax is it is a double tax. I'm not a pro GE person by any means, but them trying to do as little as possible to pay corporate tax is completely cool with me. Everyone getting payed by them for their operations here is paying tax already.

  • @sonnybrown no, many payments to them are in non-US dollars. Corporate tax hits the non-employees, the ownership. So no it's not a double-tax.

  • @ytgv3fc7 The ownership? You mean the share holders? They get taxed for what they receive in dividends. They get taxed for earnings from selling their stock too. Or are you talking about the executives (the people at the top running the company)? They get taxed pretty heavy as that is income tax for them. Try again?

  • @sonnybrown it's still not a double-tax. Each event is separate, not layered.

  • @ytgv3fc7 That's exactly the meaning of double tax, dude. It's like if you bought a shirt for 45 bucks and payed sales tax, but the retailer bought the shirt for 20 plus tax. The wholesaler charging sales tax to the retailer really gets passed onto you in the form of a 45 dollar product to cover tax payed between the wholesaler and retailer instead of 40 (standard mark up is double wholesale). That's why wholesalers aren't charged tax when selling to retailers.

  • @sonnybrown how are we confused here? When you pass it on it's not double-taxed anymore & there are write-offs too. Look, removing all these taxes makes sense to me in the long-term, for the singular reason the taxes collected are being abused & exploited anyhow. In any case, applies to Canada, in TFSA accounts dividends are not taxed. No gains are taxed.

  • @ytgv3fc7 It's clear as a bell. What is this, "if you pass it on it's not a double tax anymore" stuff? That's exactly my point about it! When a tax takes place, a company has to account for that on it's ledger. If it's a heavy burden, it has to be passed onto the consumer in raising the price so the company can meet it's financial outlook on sales and profit. It's BASICS OF BUSINESS. There's no voodoo here. Just do the math I gave you earlier but make it 50 percent tax and you'll understand.

  • I bet GE is getting even more tax breaks for hiring in China, soon we'll be paying them!

Where are the Tax Cuts for people hiring IN the US?!?!

  • @PyROphantasie the difference between subsidies & tax breaks is: subsidies we pay them, tax breaks they pay less (unless your a major campaign contributor then you pay nothing & get subsidized).

  • @nogivenogets1 I understand the difference. I guess the way it's written it comes across as implying i meant tax cuts since i didn't specify subsidies but that's what i meant when i put the comma in front of ",soon we''l be paying them!"

But I imagine they are already receiving subsidies since they do business in many different sectors.

  • And we should keep giving these companies tax breaks and credits because??? Oh, that's right, they're job creators...in CHINA!

  • And they wonder why no one is employed here.

  • Whats funny is wages in China are going up real quick and companies are having second thoughts.

  • Oh well. Americans don't need jobs they just suck off the government.

  • Obama loves GE for their "green" energy. Fucking bullshit

  • The rats are first to leave a sinking ship.

  • @Mahoivlich I like that comment :D

  • RON PAUL ANYONE?

  • @Thunderfunny yes.....

  • @Thunderfunny

    Ron Paul is a creationist.

  • @Thunderfunny Ron Paul is for 0% income tax and no board of education amongst a load of insane ideas which is enough to make a cat laugh. You want to pay for your own murder investigations? how about a subscription to an ambulance? The society America has and is creating for itself is so obviously based on selfish greed, racism and paranoia. Your not united, after a civil war you still hate each other's guts and it shows..

  • @Thunderfunny Ron Paul would say do not deregulate them the market will fix itself

good luck with that... since Ronald Reagan deregulation had led to this kind of practices...

  • @izaccy The government does NOT know how to spend your money. /watch?v=gJLjni29lw8

  • @Thunderfunny

I would love an explanation of how someone who is completely opposed to any sort of federal regulation would somehow manage to solve this problem. Do you have any concept of how the economy works? What GE did is pretty much the definition of free trade. They can produce their goods cheaper elsewhere, so they went. If you are opposed to this, you don't solve the problem by placing even less restrictions on them. Good God man, educate yourself...

  • @Trndkillah It is there money now and it's U.S. fault for voting for people who control your money and give it to these types of corporations. I don't need a Degree in economics to know when you work for something it's yours. The current system doesn't work and printing money out of thin air wont work either. Educate Yourself?lol Instead of having chuck liddell working out naked in your favorites make shure to favorite this one /watch?v=XhUpQjqZMCQ&feature=related DONT CONTINUE THE MISTAKE.

  • wow

  • Welcome to Ron Paul, USSA!*

    *you won't enjoy your stay

  • @bulldogger Ron Paul is against crony capitalism, GE is one of the biggest offenders.

  • @nogivenogets1 Ron Paul also thinks GE shouldn't have to pay taxes.

  • @bulldogger Ron Paul thinks YOU shouldn't have to pay income Taxes.

Ron Paul on YT talking about taxes watch?v=5m1J32wABiI

  • @bulldogger Not true. Don't mistake the want to keep taxes low to reign in "Big Government" with not wanting to tax GE.

  • @MrWizenBud Show me where Ron Paul voted to raise corporate taxes. I'll wait.

  • Not like the americans need those jobs.

  • Oh, yeah, right, put tariffs on it so prices can rise in America, to be paid by an underemployed population - that's gonna work for sure.

  • Just a few more years to a complete police state and a third world country.

  • GE IS NOT FRIEND OF AMERICA. NEITHER ARE ANY OF THE OTHER BIG CORPS. THESE DIRTY-FIST ASS-FUCKERS ARE INSANE AND SHOULD BE SHOT FOR TREASON.

  • @InvictusX100

Henry Ford and Ford motor invented the American Middle class buddy.

  • @InvictusX100 couldnt have said it better

  • @InvictusX100

    Treason?....

In order to operate; they are forced to move outside of this Country...not sure how that relates to treason.

Anarchy is the only solution to this shithole of a society/economy that Government has created.

  • rats abandoning the ship ?

  • Is there a way to get rid of Republicans? Not the party, not the ideology, but the teabaggers and those within the party who are in their payroll.

  • ... that giant sucking sound. Everyone snickered at Ross Perot that day, including Clinton.

  • Boycott these greedy fucking piles of shit.! Bailout fucks should have been ousted out of the god dam country. Fucking Scummmmmmmmmmmm.........Capitalism my ass.

  • @Th2EyA0rEa1MoN2gUs you can't boycott GE, you either don't know what they make or you need it so bad you can't get a stove or fridge easily they haven't been a part of. The only thing you can do now is control their up-chain supply of materials and punish them with higher prices until they change direction. IF you can.

  • Boycott these greedy fucking piles of shit.! Bailout fucks should have been ousted out of the god dam country. Fucking Scummmmmmmmmmmm.........

  • Boycott these greedy fucking piles of shit.!

  • Obviously we need to do more than eliminate all corporate income taxes. We need to eliminate unions and the minimum wage laws as well, not to mention all the rules and regulations and mandates the government imposes on businesses here.

  • Nobody mentioned all the TARP funds GE got during the banker bailouts. GE was too big to fail as well.

  • GJ GE!

    WTF FFS?

    LOL?

    :O

  • The only way to create jobs is to drastically reduce the scope and size of government. Too bad Obama doesn't want to hear that.

  • GE CEO Jeffrey Immelt (MSNBC Owner) is Obama's Job Czar, Obama made sure GE paid NO Taxes, GE got sweet deals & got BILLIONS in Profit, GE also Received 4 BILLION dollars in Gov Tax Refunds after paying ZERO dollars in Taxes.
