I find it ironic, that Japanese Cloud and Japanese Rockman X share the same Voice Actor, and here we are, two PSP games where the character he's voicing has final words with a best friend dying from defending the character he's voicing. (Cloud to Zack in Crisis Core, X to Zero in MHX/IHX.) Very, very ironic indeed. Then, toss in Johnny Young Bosch does Zero for MvC3, he also Kiba for Wolf's Rain, which Aerith's VA (Maaya Sakamoto) sings "Gravity" which is end theme for that show. Ironic indeed.

in FF7, Zack is RARELY bought up.

they do show u that he did save Cloud & Cloud memories are of Zack's BUT other then that in the orginal FF7 for the PS1. THey never made it that important to make Cloud past more "unknown".

though Cloud NEVER said he wanted to be like Zack in the orginal game. He looked up to Sephiroth. He only knows his memories are OF Zack's so he role-plays him to feel better about himself.

I for one would purchase a Final Fantasy VII remake, if they ever made one, but I'm content with the upcoming XIII-2 and Versus.

I want to see the game remade with stunning graphics, but somehow I know that Square Enix with screw with the game so much it won't be the same game we all know and love. They probably screw with the battle system and try to 'update it' or something else like that. If they did remake it, they would have to leave the mechanics of the game alone.

theres some contradictions here: first he shoulda just used a summon instead of killing them with his bare hands, second PHOENIX DOWNS, theres a reason they exist why not use them?! (I had 99 phoenix downs when aerith died and cloud did not even use one WTF?! but this is another topic) this is a bigger contradiction than starbursts, before he went trough all this crap i had him in Revive state (the little feather on top of his head) why dint he revive?! - . - contradictions....

cos if you read the description in ff7 item menu it says `revives one party member from KO` not death, revive is the same, you can revive not resurrect, when a party member goes down in ff7 they`re just knocked out not dead, but yes the summons thing is true, would`ve been badass for him to summon in cutscene and him AND it taking them on and him still losing(nooooo......)

Otherwise, I really don't think they should make a normal movie. I'm just very afraid they would fuck it up to be honest. This is just too perfect, Cloud is Cloud, Zack is Zack, Aerith is Aerith. They're not Bale, Alba, Evans or whoever else. Although they are fictional game characters, they are lot better than some movie ones.

The only SOLDIER 1st class left alive after all these events is the guy who was taken away by Weiss in Nero in the end of Crisis Core and was offered to be in Deepground but refused and sealed himself away underground to await the day the world needs him the most, Genesis Rhapsodos. If you watch the Dirge of Cerberus secret ending Genesis wakes up and takes Weiss' body with him when he flies away. NOTE: Dirge of cerberus takes place 7 years after FF7, and around 9-10 years after Crisis Core.
