be positive, tell her she is a good girl and take her mind off whatever is making her bark. She could be just frightened and putting out a warning by barking. Keep calm and she will pick this up from you

my JRT i trained myself he knows more than 40 tricks and he understands everything i say he is only 9weeks old. when i first got him he was 6weeks old i tought him in 1and a half days tolet training but he is not alowed in the house. JRT are so smart

ya in breedin is a problem in ireland sometimes.. u get some people who will breed mother and sons or sisters and brothers.. thats why cuz you have to send away in ireland for papers i gets mine checked at the vet to show there not inbreed,

I live in the southwest of the US my JRT is pet quality he is bigger than a regular Jack he threw that Bull Terrier gene but I don't care I love him, he is still beautiful. But I agree I hate ignorant pple who inbred their animals that is inbreeding disease and insanity, just plain evil. My dog is not an inbred thank god.

ya my family has been breedin em for over 30years, all pure breeds, even some of the top vets in the sw of ireland have checked them.. jrtca papers are just some little bit of paper tellin ya what ya already know.. if i wanted jrtca papers it would cost me an arm and a leg cuz im not living in the us.. and why should i pay money for a bit of paper to tell me what i already know.. have you any jrt's, how much wud they cost in us...

Yes, I have been breeding some of the top dogs in the US for years. The point of the JRTCA is how STRICT they are. They keep the breed pure, unlike so many breeds that become popular and inbred in puppy mills like Dalmations, etc, who develop genetic problems.

You're not allowed Brindle coloring of course, so the JRTCA stops bad breeders from breeding dogs that dont fit the standard. I have seen a LOT of ugly JRT's that dont conform to the breed standard b/c of bad, NON JRTCA breeders and puppy mills. It is a good orginization. I had one puppy that had brindle coloring, so of course even though both her parents are registerd JRT's she couldn't be. .

I got mine for 500 euros. Dont think that its expensiv. In here you get JRT with papers for 1000eur. Mine dont have papers cas local breed union dont accept papers that her mom has . Cas they are from some other breedunion or smthing. Dont care. I got really nice looking purebred friend what i was looking for. And no stopit breed union tells me that she is xbred or smthing :)

Depends, here, on Estonia and Finland its not alot. You may get "jrt" for 125 euros here also, but then its actually crossbreed.

Parson Jack Russells ARE JRT's, bred by people who don't want the strict standars of the JRTCA - please don't be fooled. Real JRT's maintain breed standard by staying separate with stric guidelines. Keep the breed PURE!!
