  • The camerateam can't bring the defib?

  • Yes you can breath you stupid bitch your talking. If anything say you having trouble breathing properly 4:24

  • Why do people insist on going in the water if they CAN'T swim? That guy was very lucky, and those lifeguards were amazing!

  • Just had CPR training for my study. I hate to do it on a doll.. Let alone doing this.. I have so much respect for these guys, they are truly amazing.

  • AH! Can't wait to move back to my hometown, amazing, beautiful Sydney! Been living in London for two years, cannot wait to get back to my home, the sun, the men!!!

  • crist they lifeguards hav quite the temper!:P

  • @gleecrazayy311 no you have to understand that lifeguards get quite frustrated if nobody listens to them. hell 4 years ago i resusicated 2 people because the first person wouldn't listen to me, so while i was distracted a person went under, so the other lifeguard dragged her in. while we were attending to the casuality, the person who wouldn't listen to me drowned, and we didn't have an AED to use on him, as the only one we had was out of battery. now i take no shit and bondi's don't either!

  • @thewastedguitarist ok.... i was just saying wat i thought i wasnt like saying anything 2 offend them or any1 else im just saying that i know that they dont take crap and neither they should and i Do understand that the lifeguards get pissed off and all i was saying was that they defo dont take crap!

  • @gleecrazayy311 sorry i kinda jumped on you like that. when i read things at first i sometimes get the wrong impression or point that is trying to be made.

  • the bondi lifeguards are the best in the world!!!!!!

  • Thank you very much. I don't know who it is, but it looks indeed hoppo or kerrbox!

I love this show so much....

  • dude at 7:16 looks like australian david beckham ...

  • why didn't he get the camera man to run the defib. im a lifegaurd so if some need the AED i woulda told anyone to run down.

  • amazing...well done too all involved,,, just increidible.

  • who is it at 00:39?

  • @FodyVivo Deano?

  • @FodyVivo if ur talking about the guy on the board with his back to the camera, how are u meant to tell?? To me it looks like hoppo or kerrbox. If ur talking about the next image pretty sure its deano :)

  • Those gook tourists have no awareness of safety or personal responsibilty at all.

  • well done to the lifeguards, reckon this is one of the all time best episodes. Delighted the dude recovered.

    Thanks for uploading BTBIB!

  • well done boys you have done a amazing job...we are lucky to have you out there x

  • 16:28 <3

personally, mi fave part of this whole episode. And the reaction they get when they see the guy they bought back to life

  • @H20goldcoast no its just every winter in the northern hemisphere they air the season recorded last year.

  • @thewastedguitarist ahhhh im going to australia next year and me and my sis are hoping to meet the boys in blue! <3

  • @H20goldcoast enjoy yourself :) if you do meet them, get a quick picture if you want but don't distract them!!!!

  • @thewastedguitarist i have a friend who knows them

  • @479spongebob harries real name Anthony Carroll brother is Sean I think

  • Does any1 know what Harries' brothers name is?

  • hi does anybody know which episode features the lifeguards resuscitating a young asian woman?

  • @wysteriaqueenfaerie think it's in season 2 if that's any help

  • sexey ass on 18:18

  • that was really sad, but really shows what kinda job these people do :)

    goo lifeguardsss

  • good job guys, i feel so ...... relieved ;') anw dunno is sexy.

  • Comment removed

  • how waz dat ass

  • strange how u watch this and think cool episode as usual, i enjoy watching this but i seem to actually not realise what im watching sometimes, that guy was dead and just watched him come back to life. Very few programmes show this as it happens like Bondi and its not just this, every episode shows people saved, either dead or they had seconds to live in rips etc.. its crazy how good a job these guys do, they save lifes almost all of the time they work!.. thanks for uploads! loving it.

  • @CarpMagic95 you knew he would survive if he died they would blur out his face

  • Just so everyone knows....i was the one who dived down and picked him up when he was sitting at the bottom of the ocean (dead). Could have got in the video-but decided to be the unsung hero....until now!

  • Anyone can come and say that they are doctors or anaeshetists. Lifeguards have responsability of lives on the beach, they did right thing!!!

  • @janiika70 What about when a bunch of guys show up driving a van with flashing lights and in uniform that says "EMT".

  • @bhstone1 that guy wasn't exactly wearing an EMT uniform and, from what I could tell, neither was he driving an ambulance so it's completely different. not argueing, it's just @janiika70 makes a very good point =)

  • @BondiTheBoysInBlue I'm just giving you a hard time. I am an EMT and work on an ambulance. Any time someone comes up and claims to be a doctor or nurse I ask them to step aside. If they don't then I have the police remove them.

  • @janiika70 Obviously, but not only that. As Bondi lifeguards I'm sure they have a lot more experience doing CPR than an Anesthesiologist and with the equipment that's available he'd still be able to only do Standard First Aid and CPR.

  • WOW.... that was intense... i cried... they boys are so amazing... good boys!!!

  • The lifeguards do an amazing job! :-)))

  • Anaesthetists are the doctors who are also involved in hospital medical emergencies (code blue) including the ones that occur in the emergency dept. They are the ones who regularly take charge during cardiopulmonary resuscitation. There is no comparison when discussing the level of experience between a lifeguard and an anaesthetist. Although anaesthetists are not legally responsible in situations like this, it would have been good if the lifeguards acknowledged the value of his presence.

  • @drlivert You bring up a good point that is often overlooked by the general public, and is often overlooked by doctors as well. While Anaesthetists have far more airway and knowledge skill than any EMT or Paramedic, the MD is trained to work with an in hospital nursing team (and equipment) which operates much different than the out of hospital EMT/Medic crew. Protocols have been specifically written by Emergency Physicians to address doctors involvement on scene. These guys did a great job.

  • @drlivert yes but you have to realise that anaesthetists are experenced in a hospital where proper equipment is advaidable. a lifeguard, and i say this as one myself, know exactly the same cpr as an anaestheist but has the advantage on the beach of be specialised in drowning resus, which is incrediably complicated because of water in the lungs.

i understand the point about airway management, but if you are pulled out of the water, your best chance is ALWAYS with the lifeguards.

  • I'm a doctor. If I ever get pulled out of the water like that and there was an anaesthetist nearby, please let him be in charge of my airway and let him lead the team in my resus.

  • @drlivert I respect what you are saying, but you are still representing one person, and there are alot of different opinions even amongst doctors. I did not want to start a whole "fight" discussion with voicing my opinion, I thought everybody would respect everybodies opinions, but realize that this is not the case. Have a good day :)

  • 18:16

    My dick moved unexpectedly.

  • I saw the part where he says he is a doctor and the lines read anaesthetist, so no, I don't think he would be legally responsible. :) I have never thought about that actually, thank you for bringing it up. I just assumed that when someone needs help you have to help by Law no matter what your title is, or maybe I just act before I think, sometimes at the hospital people just drop everywhere lol. You get used to it. :)

  • Oxford Dictionary 2010: Anesthesiologist; A doctor who studies the use of anaesthetics. :) In other words he is responsible for "putting people out" when they have surgery done. Maybe you meant some kind of "paramedical" doctor or something? I'ts confusing for sure lol. I had to look it up to double check. :)

  • @selinambf no they take charge in hospitals when cpr is undertaken, because of the knowlodge of airway management.

  • so who leaves maxi or jake???????

  • Awesome job done resuscitating. I´m curious though, what rules apply when the anestesiologist on holiday came to help? I would think he had the authority in the situation by law, due to his medical training as a doctor

  • @SuperMageo I have been to several first aid classes and lectures (I'm a nurse) and they have kept saying that doctors actually do not have that much first aid knowledge, they know alot, but they do not do it every day, to me it looked like the doctor was more in the way. If he does not work in a specific ward for critical cases etc he does not have more knowledge than the lifeguards who deal with it every day. :)

  • @selinambf

But he identified himself as an anesthesiologist, it´s a doctor who is the specialist in emergency medicine, meaning he deals with this on a daily basis, in car crashes, accidents. The doctors who´s out in the field, who comes rushing from air ambulance, that´s the anesthesiologist.

I think the best is to leave it to the life guards in that situation an delegate a task for him, like they did. But I was curious, if something went wrong, would he violate law for not taking charge?

  • @SuperMageo no, there is a " good samaritan clause " that if he trys to help soemone off duty, he cannot be held responable in the case that it doesn't work because he normally works with extensive equipment.

the only people that are excluded from this clause are on-duty pool lifeguards and off-duty sea lifeguards, as they are trained to respond to a medical emergency without equipment.

of course in the off-duty sea lifeguards case, it is very unlikely that they would get sued or lose a case.

  • @selinambf this isn't some family physician, he has 7 years of med school so he can literally put people to sleep and bring them back to life.

  • @979259 Ok, I think we could just come to the conclusion that we disagree, and that it is perfectly allright. :) Have a wonderful day. :)

  • the guy should be so bloody gratefull!! thanks to the lifeguards he's still alive!

  • isnt it great when hot girls moon

  • I Love it when they get on the mic to yell at ppl xD its hilarious

  • Bondi rescue is awesome :D

  • madness how many times ive seen them save a life and dont really appreciate how massive a thing it is that ive just watched, thats someones son, brother etc thats just been saved. Is there anything bigger or more impressive than that? amazing job, thanks for the uploads, love this programmme!

  • 十分十分好的救生員,veryverygood.

  • wow that was hardcore

  • Why in the hell they need to clap? that was not entertaining, That looks really scary..

  • @greenoliver18 They claped to congratulate the boys in blue for theire tremendous effort and there dam good EXCELLENT work. :)

  • @greenoliver18 Reliefe

  • it's ALWAYS the asians! if you don't know how to swim then DON'T GO IN THE WATER!!! where is your bloody common sense, did that drown too? jesus!

  • @hetasuzume I know right! Without them I don't think there would be a Bondi Rescue!

  • @hetasuzume I agree.. I notice that also..

  • @hetasuzume HEY dont blame the asians... MOST are tourists with language barriors, or are unfamiliar with the place. There might not be as much caucasian rescues, but just because lots of asians who dunno english flock to bondi, does NOT mean you can critiscize the them in such a RACIST way.

  • Wait what happened to THeresa? who is she?!? someone answer thanks

  • loved this episode, mainly coz Dunstan is in it lots lol His voice is so cute and well he int bad is he ;) and @grzybolino i often wonder what is on there arms to? is it a microphone so we can hear them wen they go out for rescues?? Keep up the good work Theresa xx

  • i actually cried my eyes out when they brought him back to life, amazing job, how they do not panic in those situations is beyond me, amazing job guys!!!

  • See, 'god' didn't save them from drowning, everyday ordinary human beings did it all by themselves.

All my respect to the people saving lifes

  • Another amazing resuscitation by the guys... Having this show on TV has done more for beach safety awareness than anything ever could.

  • I was so tearful watching this... the lifeguards are amazing spirits!!! <3

Thank you so much for uploading this. Thank you.

  • If only every parent who has ever let a child wonder into the water could see this. Water is no joke and some serious respect needs to be payed to those who keep us safe. For goodness sakes, register your children in swimming lessons and keep your family alive!

  • God, that episode gave me shivers, thats amazing they brought him back to life. What great job!

  • another great episode please keep them coming

  • ABSOLUTLY AMAZING OUR POPULATION WOULDNT BE AS LARGE WITH OUT THEM :)

  • this show always makes me so homesick for Australia <3

  • Thinking about it - is awesome that the film crew are there to record these rescues. Must be really good for the lifeguards to see how they work as a team when the adrenaline is pumping and have a really useful debrief session.

  • Reidy was awesome, the team were buzzing with adrenaline but he stayed nice and calm.

  • Im so bloody proud we have these guys taking care of us on our Beaches fucking Heroes !!!

  • whats with chappo's back he has a patch. did he get a tattoo?

  • @Jitsu1980 Those are patches used for back injuries

  • @BondiRescueLifeguard oh thanks for telling me, i hope he is well?!!!

  • @Jitsu1980 He's all good now....just a minor thing haha

  • chappo and reidy my favorit lifeguards.

  • Such an amazing episode!

  • legends!

  • you are the best keep them coming please, thank you very much from spain!!!!!!!

  • you are the best keep them coming please

  • Reidy tweeted this video! :D

  • Very good episode, job well done, as a fellow lifeguard i would say that they did it with minimal mistakes considering the pressure they were under.

  • As a fellow lifeguard and lifesaver, I commend these men for what they do. Even the clubbies. Without them, quite a few lives would be cut short. I think all tourists to bondi, parents and children should have to watch this inorder to realise the dangers of the water. It only takes a second for things to go wrong.
