  • hey dude, i take it you figured it out. i had this problem many times and i had to change the signal type on my card numerous times. so odd reason it thinks its component instead of svideo. also tip: you dont need the nvidia adapter to have svideo just plug in the svideo cable directly through the card. i have done that since i found out svid fits

  • The signal is not compatible. Are you running a standard S-video cable from the s-video port on your video card directly to the S-video port on your T.V.? If you are, then you need to change the signal type in Windows, if you aren't then you need to remove the adapter which is incorrectly translating the signal.

  • @MyTube2025 Thanks! Yeah, it most likely was that. For others who may be experiencing this problem, would you be able to tell us where the setting is in Windows to be changed?

  • @Ultranothing

It is under the advanced configuration of you TV. For Nvidia this is in the Control Panel=>Nvidia (ATi has its own Control Center); You don't want to change this 99 times out of 100 though because the default is correct. It is more likely an incorrect adapter.

  • no zzzzz u understand english???zzzzz..... see my comment i just tell u how to fix that problem zzzz or that cause my VGA got broken or just the setting??

  • "I play game with lagged...I mean very lagged"

    "I used 9300GS and I change to 9400GT"

"I used 9400GT to play game got same fps like 9300GS!!!"

    "Help me please!!!"

    "Please answers I beg U :("

And in what way, sir, is that a description of how to fix the problem? And how, pray tell, could my supreme command of the English language come into question by one who apparently falls asleep, mid-sen...zzz

  • @Billiez0401 Umm, yeah, this video is about me? And MY problems? You don't just waltz in here and hi-jack my video channel with your petty little 9400GT problems!

How DARE you, sir. How dare you.

  • This problem is from the refresh rate of the video card. If you live in America set the video cards refresh rate to 60 Hz. Thanks for posting road show videos.

  • It's set at 60hz. No-one can figure this out. I must be special. It actually is a complete mystery.

Someone else had told me to adjust the refresh rate, and I couldn't because the system had "60hz" as the ONLY selection.

So, still no-one has an answer. I was going to post the issue at the nVidia forums, but when I try to register there, it doesn't send me the validation email to activate the account.

    SWEET!

  • I would try another tv and also confirm that svideo cable is fine, update driver!. The start screen displays DELL and bios stuff correctly but when Windows loads :\ or driver for card.

Another option would be to get another device and use the VGA. Or DVI :O

Sucks about not being able to join Nvidia forums maybe someone else will answer on youtube.
